Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid is the perfect example of how it’s possible to make a show full of comedic, colourful characters but have thought provoking and heartwarming scenes all at the same time. Although about half the cast are literally mythological creatures, that didn’t stop them from feeling so alive with their beliefs and world views of those around them, creating a unique feeling that I havn’t really felt when actually watching an anime before.
