My first review here, so please be gentle.

I'll make it short, a lot of pros and cons have already been listed in other reviews, like the way Uzaki's appearance puts some people off, or based upon the first episodes, she seems like mostly annoying, and only cute occasionally. And at best described as 'ok' and something to watch on a rainy afternoon, when there is almost nothing to do.

But if you look beyond that, and see more episodes, you probably start to notice things are more complicated, and the series comes to life more. At least that is how I experienced it personally. Got drawn ... in because those rage/hate videos about her kept popping up on Youtube, as well as videos in response to that hate. And it definitely got under my skin, and even deeper. Not because of Uzaki's appearance, but the story and the 'back and forth' dynamic between her and the main male character draws you in. From a spectator you start to feel part of the story.

As others mentioned, it's far from perfect, and you may have seen some things being done before, maybe even better. So my highly positive score is not based upon technical details, although I really love the opening and closing tune. I base my score upon the effect I've seen this show have on others, and myself. Without that, I would have given it a 7 or 8, but because I think that how something feels massively outweighs technical details, even though I am a technician at heart and for a living, I would give it a 9.5, but as that doesn't exist, it's a 10 for me. Because a 9 would not be enough for an anime that basically forced me to write a fanfic about, even waking me up at 5am in the morning, because some new ideas started popping up in my head.

Still turned out a bit longer than I had initially thought, but one more thing. 2020 hasn't been a great year so far, due to various more or less obvious reasons, but I consider the release of this anime to be a positive highlight for sure.
