High school boys, a crazy environment, a strong willed female protagonist, the world of Haruhi is pretty similar to the alternate world of angel beats. You will not have the feels that angel beats leave, but you will have the fun of a series of unexpected events that violate the law of physics.

Fate/Zero
add

Ok, this is going to be hard to explain, but first, I will and never compare brotherhood to a crap series. this series is good. Magic (Alchemy), well developed characters, world domination and survive of the fittest. Fate zero put in challenge the skills of their characters, fighting each other to achieve one goal. Same with brotherhood, where the alchemist, using their skill at their full, must uncover all the mysteries behind the ongoing events. Filled with mystery, thriller and action, these both anime wouldn't disappoint you.

There is a lot of difference between these two anime but, something that make Code Geass popular was Lelouch vi Britannia. If you are looking for an anime with a character who controls an army or a country leading them to victory with his virtuous analytical skills, solving complex puzzles and predicting its enemies, check no game no life.

Of all the anime I have seen, the much closer to Claymore is Berserk. A knight ( mercenary or whatever you which to call him (her)), wielding a big sword, slaying demons and an interesting and mature plot. This is what this both series is all about.

The characters and atmosphere. Although the game is not an online rpg environment like SAO, you will feel that it's like you are inside a game. If you are a sword art online fan you can't miss this anime. You will enjoy it from start to finish.

Akatsuki no Yona
add

Prepare for an adventure in feudal Japan. Bot anime features the adventure of a girl which is in the middle of a quest together with a group of friends with extraordinary abilities. Akatsuki no Yona has more drama, although the relationship between Inuyasha and Kagome is very well developed in the series and I must say that is even more developed that the relation between the two main characters in Akatsuki no Jona, but Jona side characters are very well developed and you will enjoy the company of those characters. If you like Inuyasha, give a try to Akatsuki no Jona, you will not regret it.

Monks, Priests and curses. All the things you found in Red Data Girl you will also find it on Inuyasha, even a school. Although the anime isn't developed in a school like RDG, you will enjoy the relationship between of the main characters with themselves and with their enemies. If you like RDG is highly probable that you will also like Inuyasha, after all Inuyasha is a Shounen anime, so give it a try.

Kuroko no Basket
add

Do you like cars and street racing? Initial D will be your best option. It carries out the same formula as Kuroko no Basket, a talented guy who meets other talented rivals in which each encounter they become more skilled including their rivals. Each encounter is packed with emotion and strategy. Personally I din't like the drawings and the character development of Initial D (except for the main character), but that's my personal opinion. Even that, I enjoyed the series a lot, so give it a try if you enjoyed Kuroko no Basket

Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica
add

If you are looking for popular dark and Gothic anime like Death Note, Madoka Magica is the best shot. Do not judge the anime by it's cover picture. Although there isn't any mind game in the series, if you enjoyed the dark and Gothic atmosphere that surrounded Death Note (drawings, music, ect) you will also enjoy Madoka Magica. Is like enjoying Death Note in a different genre with a different plot.

Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun
add

If you enjoyed the fun and the drama of Lovely Complex you will definitively enjoy My little monster. Bot anime are a slice of life of high school and both of them feature characters with unique personality. Although they both focus on the romance between the main characters the way they develop their relationship is extremely different from each other. So, in other words is like watching Lovely Complex again but with different characters and a different plot. A virtue that has My Little Monster over Lovely Complex is that only last 13 episodes, so the anime isn't repetitive as on Lovely Complex but watch out, the anime doesn't cover all the story. If you want to finish the story of My Little Monster you must continue reading the manga. I think that the anime miss the last 3 volumes of the manga but even so is worth watching the anime.

Durarara!!
add

Being both anime a creation of Ryohgo Narita (Light novel series), Baccano! in a very short summary is the mature version of Durarara. Featuring a wide cast of characters, each one with different personalities, you will immerse in a world filled by mystery, para-natural activities and war between gangs. As Durarara you will be confused at first glance by the amount of characters, but same as Durarara, the intro will feature the cast. Also you will see the suddenly flashbacks between scenes and different scenes covered in the same space-time coordinate, arriving to a point in which each story converge, same as Durarara. Hence, if you like Durarara and you don't bother about blood and gore, you will definitely love Baccano.

In this time, Naruto is the Shonen anime that had made a lot of people fan to the anime being Naruto their first anime.
