*Spoilers for season one of Bocchi the Rock*

There's a lot to love about Bocchi the Rock. It has comedy, it gives love to music, it might be relatable to some, but one aspect of it that is not mentioned much is the natural character growth. One of the closest friendships, Bocchi and Kita, is totally unexpected, but they get to know each other so well. This is reflected by chapter one's cover being Bocchi and Nijika, despite being all about Bocchi and Kita.

If you are a fan of that bond or the one between Nijika and Ryo, I highly recommend checking out these two ... short chapters, where the author takes a step back from the 4-koma comedy and chooses to give depth to these fan-favorite relationships.
