I'm gonna keep this short and sweet. A lot of people on this website write so much to say so little, thinking they're intellectuals and trying to use bigger words to seem smart. But I don't do that, Ill give you the facts on this show
Is started out so good, amazing artwork and animation. This is probably the highlight of the show honestly. Most of the show looks like your movie quality. pushover blank wall of a MC, but ends of being fairly witty and can actually solve problems and misunderstandings that come up. Our female MC's are both very charming and likable, and their interactions with our MC are entertaining and seem like for the most part conversations that could happen in real life.
Now for why I have this show a 7 instead of something higher. The last few episodes focus on Komari, who in my opinion, was terrible. I'm sorry, but devoting the most screen time of any of the girls to the worst one is asinine. She is a socially inept stuttering mess, and she is not interesting, at all. At the beginning of the show she is like this. At the end of the show she is like. She does not change at all. She is straight up NOT an interesting character. AT ALL.
To sum it up, most things about this anime are very good, except I despise one of the female MC's, and for some reason she got what seemed like the most screentime. Maybe I just couldn't relate to her? I don't know, but if she wasn't in the show this would've been an easy 9/10 for me.
Yes I know it hasn't ended but the last episode is an anime only ending that's supposedly not canon, so this is it folks.

I'm going to keep this short and sweet, since most reviewers on here like the go on and on with word dribble. The main character is the most boring, soulless, spineless, and uninteresting character you'll ever see. Even his damn voice is boring. Someone will of course say "hurrr but thats how he's supposed to be!" That does not make it any less terrible. I cannot stand this guy, there is genuinely nothing close to interesting or entertaining or relatable about this guy, He is watching paint dry personified. no clue how anyone could enjoy watching him.
There are good things about this show. The music in this show is probably the standout for me, it seems very whimsical almost? It's definitely not your generic anime music, it really sets whatever mood its trying to convey. The animation is good, I have no complaints about that. The art style is also very pleasing to the eyes, it seems to use softer colors to great effect. Kubo is the lifeblood of this show though. She has a very entertaining and enjoyable personality trying to force this dullard and awful main character to come out of his shell. If she wasn't as fun to watch as she would I would've dropped this already. The only question I have is why the hell she even has feelings for him. All in all, this is a good anime bogged down by one of the most sleep inducing, boring, dull, and awful main character I've seen recently.

I'm not doing your normal review. I'm just going to tell you exactly why I think you should watch it.
Watch episode 1. If you like it, I can guarantee you'll absolutely love it. I binged the whole thing in 1 night. I haven't binged this much in years. I cried, I laughed, I had fun.
I had fun. I think that's the most important thing when enjoying anime. I haven't had this much fun watching anime since I watched my favorite anime, Code Geass.

This anime deserves a fucking grammy. You want to know why? The main character is NOT a pussy. I repeat, the main character is NOT a pussy. Ecchi Harems are fun and all, but I get sick of seeing the beta as hell MC be too scared to make a move on a girl. You know what this anime does? Completely shatters the mold of ecchi/harems everywhere. This dude simply gives no fucks. I gave it a perfect 10 even though its not even close to perfect. Know why? BECAUSE THE MAIN CHARACTER ISN'T ALWAYS COCKBLOCKING HIMSELF AT EVERY OPPORTUNITY

Story: 7
Haruka, the main character, takes turns being with different girls. Nothing too special considering what genre it is. I think the story is the weakest part, as it is, as I said earlier, generic. Despite that, it's still a fairly good story, with some very emotional scenes and memorable moments scattered about.
Animation/Soundtrack: 9
This anime looks fantastic. Very smooth animation with breathtaking backgrounds. The reason I picked this anime up was because I thought the art and animation looked top notch. The soundtrack had a lot of beautiful piano and string pieces that fit the overall mood of the anime. Like most other shows, there were no stand out tracks, and the OP and ED were mediocre in my opinion. But the OST fits what's happening in the show.
Character: 6
Like I already said, Haruka is a 10/10 because he's not a gigantic pussy and actually DOES something with the harem, instead of chickening out every time. The rest of the girl main characters all have their own respective arcs that last about 3 episode, while Sora, Harukas sister, gets 4 episode in her arc. The girls are generic as hell for the most part, but they are entertaining and likable in their own ways.
Enjoyment/Overall: 10
Like I said before, this anime destroys any cliche bullshit that you expect to happen in an ecchi harem anime. Instead of random shit stopping the MC from getting with a girl,l (someone walks in, MC pussies out, any other stupid distraction). So overall, this anime gets a 10/10, would watch with my family, if not only for the fact that the MC isn't the same ole harem lead that makes you want to bask your fucking head in because he's so stupid.
