Hugtto PreCure did not look impressive to me. However, it surpassed my expectations and is now my second favorite PreCure series. I will admit, the first 12 or so episodes are...not the best. I found them very boring. But, when things get good, they get REAL good. While this show may look childish, it made me cry so much. It has mature themes, slice of life, action, and heart-touching scenes. I overall enjoyed the characters, especially Ruru and Hana, but Saaya and Homare are not great in my opinion. And, if you don't want to be spoiled other series, you should wait to watch it, ... because it has spoilers for earlier PreCure seasons. Overall, 9/10, its very strong, please watch it!
