This manga is one where, with each chapter, you can't help but think, "What is this?" As the story unfolds, the increasing number of characters and dialogues can leave you feeling like you're not sure what you're even reading. At times, you might find the relatively serious or typical love comedy scenes to be a bit dull.
As a result, the excessive amount of character dialogue made it take much longer to read than expected. It felt like it took at least twice as long as reading other manga due to the sheer volume of dialogue.

It seems like some of the shortcomings from S1 have been addressed in this show. Overall, the quality has improved, and unlike S1, which covered average three manga episodes in a single anime episode, this season covers about four, allowing for a faster-paced story progression that alleviates some of the frustration. If you found the pacing of the S1 to be a bit slow, this installment is worth looking forward to.

This animation is the first and last one that has given me more psychological horror than what I can see with my own eyes, leading to a significant case of PTSD.
The background settings for the characters and the resulting storyline were very appropriate and provided ample coherence. What I particularly liked about this animation was the excellent portrayal of the emotions of each character. After watching this show, I had numerous questions.
WHY did the MC justify a high school girl selling her body and coming to his house? WHY do so many people around them, who know that the MC and Sayu live together, not report them to the police? WHY does someone who tried to have a sex with Sayu by force, then engage in a friendly conversation with her in just after one episode? WHY did Sayu's family search for her for six months, yet not make a missing person report to the police or put up flyers?
