Have you ever imagined an work so randomly amazing, that could even be saw as the best anime from an entire season? Well, D-Frag! surely wasn't a "number one", but its revolucionary comical style put a tough challenge for the other adaptations aired during 2014's first quarter.
{STORY - 8/10}
Centered on the Game Creation Club (Provisory), focus is basically upon... Playing games... D-Frag! is an unique breathtaking comedy that stands upon a simple thematic like having nonsense fun during afternoons? No! Most situations are not even based on this and constant disturbed interations between Kenji and every other character from D-Frag! is what draws attention and
...
gives you a reason to watch it till' the end!
Joining against his own will, Kenji is now obligated to always attend reunions, which focus on eating snacks, reading manga, sleeping or playing games whose ideas are credited for the club. Keeping it alive is the main objective and many challenges to that are presented throughout episodes.
{ART - 7/10}
Despite relatively simple, characters are very well designed and most of them feature either distinct visual or appearance. Animations are consistant and fluid. Main scenario is the academy where the club is hosted, so it's deadly repetitive during most scenes, as every episode begins on a classroom...
{SOUND - 9/10}
Impossible not praising legendary Katsuyuki for his incredible voice acting under Kenji Kazama's role. Always screaming without losing breath is the main characteristic from the supposed delinquent and Konishi represented that with perfection.
For the girls, undeniable presence from Kana, voicing over Roka's cute, "yanderish-like" personality, means another strong point for D-Frag!'s dubbing cast. Chiwa Saitou, Aki Tokisaki and many other well-know names are also part of this project.
"Stalemate!", sang by the main girls, runs on a accelerated rhythm, featuring strong guitar and bass solos during all performance, while ED piece "Minna no Namae wo Irete Kudasai" is sang by Roka, Takao and Funabori's actresses, being more eletronic than instrumental, despite having almost the same rhythmical style and being as cheering as the intro one.
{CHARACTERS - 10/10}
Now into the best aspect from D-Frag!. Every episode featured the brief entrance of one or many new characters, that could have a lot or almost no screen time. Common people, gang members, nerds, ace students, heirs, among some other types, were added in the cast constantly, besides the main ones, members from both original and provisory Game Creation clubs.
Most of the secondary characters have their appearance limited only to the episode were they first star. Some can randomly appear during following episodes, but those are few and presence is always short.
All characters are exclusively unique, at least, on personality matters. They range from various kinds, like moe, misterious, bully, calm, perverted, masochist, sweet, tsundere, sleepy, unresponsible... Using so many types on a 12-episode anime is not easy. It isn't impossible as well...
{ENJOYMENT - 10/10}
Each episode steals more and more laughs. With all those stupid and awkward situations, it's impossible not liking D-Frag!. Even scenes that are supposed to be serious are literally spoiled by funny actions... Cheering excess, watch out, you may lose your breath.
{OVERALL - 9/10}
If you're looking for a very distinctive comedy, occasionally centered on romance, but focusing on unique kinds of gaming and also showing some really embarrassing situations, D-Frag! is just the most suited to fulfill all these requirements. Despite not being dramatic or having an intense, twisty plot, it impresses by constantly bringing something new. Gaming taken seriously (or maybe not...), that's how they play!

And here it comes again! Another loli anime, this time, driving tanks! I know they are on Junior High, but it doesn't matter, as long as their appearances were enough to drag me all the way to the end!
Girls und Panzer literally blows up any expectations and shows the route of a glorious way, consisting of friendship, team work and lots of commitment. Of course that a huge amount of armoured vehicles are introduced in the few 12 episodes aired on television.
{STORY - 10/10}
It all starts with this "art of piloting tanks". Sensha-do is a sport played only by girls and women, exploding their deepest
...
desires for adrenaline and letting them feel what it looks like to pilot those wonderful machines.
Our main group of protagonists, led by Miho Nishizumi, begin tracing the brighest way for Ooarai Academy. A previous accident may have destroyed all her will to get inside a tank again, but meeting some amazing friends would add both joy and excitement on every match she entered.
A team able to get bigger and better, with more comrades and mobile weapons. A perfect and innovative plot, filled with intense and realistic battles, plus a heartwarming story of overcoming critics and despise... It's gorgeously unique and amazing!
{ART - 10/10}
When it comes to visual aspects, GuP uses everything on its range to be just the most authentic anime I've ever saw. Top-notch 3-dimensional renderization and animation direct all spotlights to the stars from these series: the tanks. At least 30 highly detailed models debuted in here, including remarkable pieces from german, russian, francese and japanese ground armies. Non-stop gunfire, combined to the smooth movimentation boost the conception we get from these beauties even more!
But what it would be from those battles without authentic, distinct open enviroments, featuring all the unique aspects from their respective nations? England, Russia, Japan, US... Every academy choose the most suitable fields, based on both fighting style and tank nacionality.
{SOUND - 10/10}
"Close-to-life" SFX is an undeniably important issue when looking for the best experience. Track movimentation, recharging, shooting explosion and penetration sequences, among many other actions require some attention to be as realistic as possible. Watching this show is like playing a latest generation videogame. Imersive effects, combined with the outstanding visuals, is all you need to literally feel inside those tanks. Way too impresive to put into words...
{CHARACTER - 10/10}
Such attention on tanks that I forgot the best part: girls... GuP takes advantage from this section, making use of a huge cast, 99% composed by female Junior High students. Our main protagonists are united through sensha-do and Miho Nishizumi commands the whole army of five tanks that represent Ooarai Academy. Each one featuring a different team with its own personalities, skills, styles and tactical abilities.
Every new episode introduces more and more characters, until we reach the last one after hearing more than 30 different voices. What really impressed me was the fact that most of them are crucial to develop its whole plot.
{ENJOYMENT - 10/10}
Nothing less than perfect, I became amazed with such variety from both tanks and characters being presented on a 12-episode anime. This is all you need to start loving those engineering masterpieces and learn a bit about them!
{OVERALL - 10/10}
Receiving the highest grade possible proves the anime can't be compared to any other work ever made. Just like when you develop a videogame, producing a good adaptation from an even better original work is no easy task. Giving life to every combat saw in the manga and getting a final result from this level was enough to make my mind up. Definitely, the most visually beautiful anime I've ever saw and also one of the best shows I got the chance to know. Said that, "panzer vor!".

KoreZom is back, and it could actually get even better than its previous season. Obviously that I'm talking in plot terms, since its essence remained just the same: make you lose your breath from laughing!
{STORY - 7/10}
Ayumu returns as a zombie and masou-shoujo, but, if meeting a lot of weird people got him into tons of trouble, dealing with an unexpected event, that suddenly turns his school life upside down, will be a true challenge.
An unknown drunken being joins our main character on this new journey to assist Ayumu onto understanding the reason of living and seeing the bright side upon being accused of sick
...
crossdressing and becoming an world known fever.
This newly developed plot surpasses the first one, as it gets better and better on every new episode. A little bit from its climax unfolds slowly, until it reaches the edge and give us an worthy ending, eventhough there's a whole more to be shown.
{ART - 9/10}
Once again, I got the pleasure if being amazed with such artwork, that may be the best I ever saw on a shounen manga based anime. Tough it remained pretty much the same, a new and even more exciting opening sequence was made to introduced the brand new season, while an ending directed towards romance was featured this time, contrasting with the ridiculously funny one we knew from before.
Also, you can expect a whole new bunch of faces coming from Ayumu!
{SOUND - 10/10}
Most of its backgrounding still focused on the three top instrumental songs from the series: calm, transformation and thrilling. Obviously that some other pieces complete the OST and every one of them were still to fit their places without any problem.
Iori performs "* * * Passionate", an improved version of the previous intro song, and Rie stands by herself this time during the anime's credits, mixing the "Koi no Beginner Nan Desu" love song with a very special... "compilation"...
{CHARACTER - 9/10}
Briefly introduced characters now come to steal some spotlights and make their bright entrances on this series! You may guess I'm talking about Haruna's master, Ariel, the emerging idol, Lovely Kirara/Sarasvati and, finally, Mystletainn Sensei, who holds a special surprise for us. Some recurring names were added as well, to enlarge its original cast and further improve this aspect.
{ENJOYMENT - 10/10}
It will hook you right on the first episode and those 10 pieces may seem not enough to fully express this amazing work. It ends fast, but doesn't let you down and adds a desire for more. Only time can tell us when the next chapter from this story will be aired...
{OVERALL - 9/10}
Ayumu is had nothing special. Being friends with a pervert and not drawing too much attention during his High School time was something that he wanted. No trouble, just a calm life. Getting to be immortal and sharing his house with uncommon beings for so long made him change... This season is dedicated to Ayumu's youth, as a deeper reason for him to live will be revealed, under many absurd situations. Gaia will not rest until Ayumu shows what he is really capable of...

I didn't realize how good KoreZom was until rewatching it about four months after the first time. A breathtaking comedy that will give you a huge amount of good moments, without losing focus on what matters: romance and drama.
{STORY - 4/10}
At first, episodes may only steal lots of laughter, but plot gets a little more interesting when close to the end. It obviously wasn't intended to be epic. Still, we can see some funny and quick battles against many animal-based demons, called "megalos".
Ayumu's dull life changes completely after being murdered by a serial killer and revived by a necromancer called Eucliwood. Now living as a
...
zombie, he struggles to find the one responsible for his death.
What really impresses is that the story doesn't really matter until you reach the last three episodes. There are some critical situations, but focus was kept on entertaining watchers with a huge dosis of basic fanservicing and many jokes. Both climax and dramatic scenes take some time to make their appearance and, when they do, things finally start getting serious...
{ART - 9/10}
Overall graphics from KoreZom aren't so amazing, comparing to other animes from 2011. However, the constant use of distinct visual effects and insane facial expressions on Ayumu, plus very well-made battle sequences and active scenes turn this show into something able to take front against the best designed works from Shaft's studio.
{SOUND - 10/10}
The most notable thing from this particular category is the voice acting. A cast filled with many know names, like Iori Nomizu, who also performs "Ma-Ka-Se-Te Tonight" (opening), Yoko Hikasa and Rie Yamaguchi (same actress from Sora no Otoshimono's Kazame Hiyori), the one sings the ending theme, side by side with it's writer, manzo. Choosing Junji Majima to incorporate Ayumu seemed so perfectly planned. His acting has to be praised, as he's able to match all of Ayumu's emotions within his own tones.
Other than that, backgrounding used throughout the entire anime is impecable and every theme suits its situation perfectly. Most characteristic ones are Haruna's transformation intro and a tenre guitar song that opens almost every episode and is played on calm moments.
{CHARACTER - 8/10}
Having one of the shortest casts I've ever saw isn't exactly a problem. Featuring few, but unique characters is what really matters in an anime, and KoreZom takes a lot of advantage on this area. The ones shown in here may not be seen on common works. A necromancer, a masou shoujo and a vampire-ninja. Those are the main categories from each of the girls close to Ayumu, who belongs to a different kind of zombie. He's immortal and super-strong, despite being vulnerable to direct sunlight, unlike any other living dead I saw before!
{ENJOYMENT - 10/10}
Non-stop stupid jokes, loli and sis complexes, both ridiculous battles and enemies and limitless perversion. That's what best describes this show. Still, ir can awake your deepest emotions at some times and even cause reflections about the way we live our lives. Impossible not loving this incomparable anime!
{OVERALL - 8/10}
Ayumu just wanted to have a peaceful life. That until he got killed and then revived, into a zombie. He didn't have concerns, but an eternal life made he think again about how life is precious and must be enjoyed at all moments. Dealing with demons and love are his newest problems, but will he be able to handle all the trouble that three unusual girls keep dragging to him? At the same time he struggles to have a normal high school life?

No wonder how this is my third time watching Date a Live, it's a truly unique anime and one of the best and most known works from 2013! The same emotions I had while first seeing it were reproduced again, DaL doesn't get boring at all!
[STORY - 8/10]
Strange and non-human beings, who are able to inflict a massive damage on wide areas with earthqwakes. Those are called "spirits". The high casualties level made them hunting targets, but due to their strong and unlimited powers, taking one down is nearly impossible.
Shido has an efficient and harmless ability to put an end to all this. Being able
...
to seal spirits' powers within his own body isn't something new, as we can see on "Hyakka Ryouran: Samurai Girls", that came two years before DaL's light novel. However, the dating simulation setting, which makes Shido's life look like a gal-game is what brings originality to this amazing piece.
Well-elaborated dramatic scenes are its main characteristic, and the way its plot quickly develops into something that will keep you glued to the screen impresses...
[ART - 9/10]
Maybe the best aspect from DaL refers to its overall visuals, which are absolutely joyful to gaze at. Advanced eye design, gorgeous outfits and a widely detailed scenario are just some of its many features and, side by side with all those intense combat sequences, experience improves a whole lot.
[SOUND - 10/10]
DaL features a single OP theme song, entitled as "Date a Live" and performed by sweetARMS, which has an nice and addicting rhythm and matches perfectly the anime's purpose. Three different ending sequences with a selected song for each one, all of them performed by Yoshino's voice actress, Iori Nomizu. The sweet timber of her vocals can take anyone down, with these lovely tracks.
[CHARACTER - 7/10]
Since it's a harem, you'd expect usual stock characters. No! Because DaL is not like ordinary harem animes! Tsunderes are present almost everywhere, that's for sure, but including the beautiful and lethal Kurumi Tokisaki, saw by many as the best DaL's girl, and the usually quiet and determined genius Origami Tobiichi was a master move.
Ingenuous and innocent Tohka Yatogami, who loves to eat, along with Kotori Itsuka, the young leader from a non-violent spirit supression organization represent the main tsunderes. Cute and lovely Yoshino makes a rather small appearance. Still, her way of speaking and shyness is what steals every men's hearts...
[ENJOYMENT - 10/10]
I loved this show so much that I can watch it over and over again! Important lessons on how to treat a girl and what to do on a date were learnt, at least, by myself. Other than that, it's a nice romantic comedy, filled with action and drama.
[OVERALL - 9/10]
Spirits are unable to stop damaging cities and killing people. As a last resource, violent measures were taken, without success. Shido can put an end to this, but, without any idea on how to behave alone with a girl, things get tough. Will he be able to change the minds of these unusual beings, with the power of love? It's time to begin our date...

It seems like everything that turns out to be adaptated into anime get a whole better and nicer to see. Some of the most famous characters created by the Grimm Brothers star on this outstanding masterpiece, produced by JC Staff. Couldn't expect less from them, awesome job!
{STORY - 8/10}
As any fairy tale, it all began with the classic line "Once upon a time". Otogibanashi is the place and this time is close to ours, but the stories may differ a bit from the original ones... Despite the good share of parodies, which are the strongest point from this show, it ended focusing on a love
...
story between Ryouko and Ryoushi.
Filled with references, every episode feature a small and modified retelling from known tales, so it's obvious that most of them bring up one or two new, secondary characters that steal the scene for a few moments.
It's a romance like any other, with this small differential of parodying many fairy tales, something that makes this anime unique and fairly improves the plot.
{ART - 8/10}
No complaints, it's pretty good and combat scenes are fluid and well animated. Characters outfits are common in most cases and overall scenario's design is satisfying.
{SOUND - 9/10}
We have a pretty good cast of voices and songs used don't let you down at all! First, "Ready Go!" , performed by Yukino Nakashima and played at openings, fast and cheering, is pretty nice to hear and suits well with the active thematic from it's backgroung animation. At the end of any episode, "Akazukin-chan goyoujin", sung by OtoGI8, takes the spot with its nice retro video-game style sounds and lovely lyrics. Despite the small lack of background songs, effects created for battle sequences are great and really make up for it!
{CHARACTER - 10/10}
It's impossible not being amazed with such authentic representations from both visual and personality on most characters, like Ringo, who is small and sweet, hiding a suspicious and manipulating behavior, parodying Little Red Riding Hood. Other "companions" at Otogi Bank, a small association that helps students from Otogibanashi Academy in return of "favors", are also parodies from both western and eastern tales' protagonists.
Protagonist Ryoushi, shy and isolated from his classmates, gets involved with brave and strong Ryouko, intentionally named as "Ookami", supposed to take part as the "Wolf", from Little Red Riding Hood. Side by side with the manly girl that has caught his eyes, Ryoushi tries to leave his humilliating attitude behind. At the same time, Ryouko is the one not being sincere with her own feelings and burries them under a brave and rather bully personality...
{ENJOYMENT 10/10}
Such originallity on choosing a theme like this to parody deserves a special attention and watching it was worthy. Seeing all those adaptations and a short crossover with other animes produced by JC Staff has proven to be a great experience and it could not be more enjoyable... Only if there were a possible second season...
{OVERALL - 9/10}
Ryouko's past haunts her and even made she transfer to another school. Hiding a tender behavior under her violent attitude is the best way to avoid relations and repeat the same mistakes. However, an unexpected encounter with coward Ryoushi would change everything for good. Will he be able to reach Ryouko's heart and protect her from anything? A totally messed up fairy tale is about to begin...

I love SoL animes, but this one... This one is something that you can't just miss. Talking about something so not amazing is what makes it so amazing, so unique... A friend's recommendation on "Working!!", from the same author, made me excited for it!
{STORY - 10/10}
An anime about work may seem boring at first, but SxS really changes that concept and proves us the opposite. Focusing on an uncommon theme, it shows a bit of civil servants' routine at office, with some comedy and even romantic situations.
Three novices at the "Health and Welfare" section are introduced. First episodes aren't promising at all, but it begins
...
showing its huge potential after some time and everyone's personal life takes place on some particular episodes. Mostly authentical.
{ART - 8/10}
Overall art hasn't amazed me, it's quite simple on every aspect. Maybe that was supposed to match the mature enviroment and the adult characters... Suitable. But what called my attention was the opening. That has to be the most creative sequence I've ever saw! All the movement, the nice "real x anime" combination and a lot of references to a "busy day at work" deserves to be praised!
{SOUND - 9/10}
"May I Help You?", performed by the three main female characters' voice actresses, introduces each episode with very quick rhythmics and lyrics about SxS' focus: the daily routine of an office employee. "Hachimitsu Tokidoki", used on credits, represents the end of a business day, as it describes some usual moments of relaxation, like a bath, being performed only by Ai Kayano.
{CHARACTER - 8/10}
SxS features few, but each one has its own working manner, representing common types of employees. Lucy, slow and distracted, is the main piece, as the plot turns around her. Miyoshi is that kind that undeniably hears what citizens have to say, eventhough she doesn't like it... Chihaya, quiet but menacing, it the most serious amoung everone, ignoring the fact that she loves cosplaying and making costumes.
As for male characters, we have Ichimiya, who is an unxeperient senior, incapable of being sensible. His role is to guide all novices during their activities. Hasebe, unconcerned, makes a huge presence after some episodes. He always tries to run away from his duties and have a calm and sweet aura, due to his relaxed personality.
{ENJOYMENT - 8/10}
It's different, pretty original. Involving a theme like that is daring. Still, adding comedy and romance improved SxS' experience, making it way more pleasurable. It tries to makes us understand that having a job isn't exactly based upon a dull, boring routine...
{OVERALL - 9/10}
Working, with a small touch of fun. That's how it should be, right? SxS is a way to show that being an adult who has an office job can still be happy with that and live with a smile on his face. There are awkward, embarrassing and even insane moments, as it takes the "work" definition to the next level!

Since this was recommended to by a girl, I already knew it would be good. Then, I found out it involves relationship issues... Talking about romance, without featuring it at all is trully original...
{STORY - 6/10}
A small group of girls giving love advices? Eventhough they don't know a thing about it? Pretty original! Love Lab is about "how to be romantic", as it literally gives out lessons to help young girls on getting that special guy's attention.
Finding Maki on a embarassing situation with her own "kissing" dakimakura (body pillow) suddenly turna Riko into the student council's assistant. Her first task: teaching our princess how to
...
get closer to a boy and make him interested on her.
Problem is that Riko has no experience and her extremelly tomboyish behavior triggered many rejections from her classmates all over the years past. One single lie convinces Maki the contrary and the admiration she shows is big enough to take Riko down for good... How long will this act last?
Inside a school made for girls, obviously that others may want to learn something from the "Love Master". All focus from the council now goes to resolving romantic issues and this is fantastic!
{ART - 7/10}
Aside the "sweet" design used on Love Lab, a lot of short "special" animation sequences are featured. High speed chases, dark auras and many background changes are some of the nice extras we can notice while watching it.
Overall art is quite simple, specially when it reffers to the characters. Still, the main ones are distinctive on appearance matters and the low-contrast style is gorgeous!
{SOUND - 8/10}
Perfectly matching songs were used on both intro and ending sequences. "Love Shitai", about getting in love, and "Best Friends", based on these five girls relation, are cheering and joyful, nice to hear, being performed by the main voice actresses, under the name of "Fuji-Jo Seitokai Shikkou-Bu". Onto the cast's choice, voices fit well to all characters!
{CHARACTER - 6/10}
Members from the Fujisaki Academy's student council, every one being a love initiate, represent somd of main the possible kinds of girl a male student from junior high may fall in love with.
Riko, violent and rough, gets constantly avoided and rejected, but she her strong-willed and protective attitude is what steals the spotlight. Maki, sensible and gentle, is the one who shows most interest on starting a love relationship with someone. Her beauty is what attracts everyond nearby.
Suzu, cute and shy, is always making mistakes and admires Riko from deep inside. Eno, dedicated and proud, is the only true friend from Sayo, whose cold and anti-social personality prevents her from interacting with her classmates.
{ENJOYMENT - 9/10}
It was a very good comedy and improved a bit of my knowledge about girls in general. All the tips I saw in here aren't useful for me to approach any, but those are a great way to understand something about them.
{OVERALL - 7/10}
An accidental encounter turns Riko's life upside down and she steps into a mess that only gets bigger and bigger. Dating isn't allowed and the council shouldn't be caring about the students' love issues. However, Maki's determination on finding the prince of her dreams persuades Riko onto helping her and trouble after trouble will meet Love Lab!

I've already watched some animes where we can find a girl dressing like a boy, as a disguise (Ikusu, from NakaImo!) or under a traditional father's command, but this was my first time seeing a main female character like that. Can't say it's something never saw before, obviously... Still, a great choice!
{STORY - 7/10}
It all begins with the relationship between Konoe Subaru and Kanade Suzutsuki. Konoe, belonging to a butlers lineage, that swore serving Kanade's one, promised being the one who'd call her as a master. However, the fact that she's the first girl born on her family and also the only sucessor would keep
...
Konoe from fulfilling her biggest dream...
Under the deal of acting like a boy, without rasing any suspicion during High School, made from Konoe, a real butler. Everything doing just fine, until Kinjirou Sakamachi accidentally discovers her secret...
Just like on any other similar stories, Konoe slowly starts developing feelings for Kinjirou. Unable to live like a girl on her ealier years prevented Konoe from making friends aside Kanade. Kinjirou becomes more than just an accomplice on this act... He worries about Konoe and wants her to be happy... That's so heartwarming...
{ART - 8/10}
What impressed more about it was the animation. Eventhough action scenes aren't the focus in here, fighting moves were very well done and are full of those cool "air explosions".
About the overall style, it has nothing too special. Mostly simple, not overloaded with useless features and with a nice eye design. Some clothes are rather uncommon (Kanade's dress, for example) and those are the ones which called most of my attention.
{SOUND - 6/10}
"BE STARTERS!", performed by Eri Kitamura as the OP song reflects well the main thematic, as it tells about initiative related to love. "Kimi ni Gohoushi", performed at the ending, by Yuka Iguchi, features a slower, more calm rhythm.
When related to music, the backgrounding was nothing excepcional... Effects for climax situations fit nicely and voice acting had the participation from Kana Hanazawa, as Kureha. I can't deny loving her voice...
{CHARACTER - 7/10}
The main reason for me to watch this one was Konoe, but Mayo Chiki! has a good share of main characters, featuring distinct personalities and appearance.
Konoe, at first cold, gets her heart softened by having Kinjirou on her side. Having both incredible strength and speed, including a lot of skills on melee, are her best means to protect Kanade.
Being the only male son from a professional female wrestler has made from Kinjirou the perfect punching bag for his mother. All the pain and humilliation cause by both her and Kureha, his little sister, resulted on some kind of "allergy to women", which makes him bleed from his nose and faint everytime a girl gets too close.
Kanade comes from a rich family and looks all cute from the outside, hiding a menacing sadistic attitude on the inside. Usami appears as someone who deeply falls in love for Kinjirou, despite having trouble on showint what she really feels...
{ENJOYMENT - 10/10}
It was just like as I expected! I love this kind of anime so of course Mayo Chiki! pleased me a lot. Kinjirou being forced to fear girls is somewhat original and the way he was capable of hugging Konoe without bleeding is a beautiful proof of true love...
{OVERALL - 8/10}
Konoe's secret shouldn't, at all costs, be revealled, and Kinjirou wants to cure his gynophobia. A deal proposed by Kanade would benefit both sides and entertain her in the meanwhile... Jirou and Konoe will suddenly get know what it's to be with someone you love and, soon enough, she will be able to show her sweet and caring personality, as Konoe acts as a girl after a long time...

Eventough I was able to play only the first game from this series, due my lack of time, I got pretty much addicted and really loved it! Reading that it would be adapted, after those 3 years, has left me excited! And here I am, reviewing it right now!
{STORY - 2/10}
After many years fighting for the Shared Energy, the four godesses, each one representing a different nation (those being related to particular real-life gaming consoles), decided for peace between them, under the Friendship Agreement. This would cease their battles and prevent possible wars in the future.
A few main events happen during the anime, but
...
the focus in here is upon Neptune. She has to learn how to act more like a source of hope to her people, in order to recover her Shared Crystal's stability, which gives power for her to transform into and maintain the HDD form, just like with the three other CPUs with their crystals.
{ART - 8/10}
The same style was used and this adaptation became really close to the original game on this matter. Overally gorgeous and amazing, the unique and futuristic theme featured in here is something to be glazed at, for sure. An wide set of distinct outfits and hairstyles are keep us from mistaking characters and the every nation's scenario has its own characteristics, some of them intentionally added as a reference to the most known makers from gaming history.
{SOUND - 9/10}
We shouldn't expect less from it. A fine and matching backgrounding, abusing from lots of different SFX and music, combined with a brand new opening song and two other ending ones take it to the next level! Maybe the strongest point, since effects used on every battles were very well chosen and the original voice casting was used!
{CHARACTERS - 6/10}
I may warn that this is an anime restricted to female characters. Absolutely no male protagonists (not even secondary). However, the outstandely huge variety of girls featured in here really make up for it. I guess that's what makes it so different when compared to other similar animes...
From what I saw, all characters' personalities remained intact, authentical when related to the video game. Neptune, always cheerful, doesn't care for important issues, like other the other CPUs. Maybe she was created to represent conventional gamers, who are unable to worry and try to run awah from everything by playing. Despite that, Neptune can turn into a real mature woman on her HDD form, capable of acting and thinking with more caution, showing a confident and reliable posture.
Noire is more of a tsundere (to-ta-lly). A sharp tongue and the way she always hides her true feelings are some reasons of why she's so incapable of relating to people and even with her little sister. Blanc didn't got much screen time, so making a profile about her is tough. Main points include coldness and an "easy-to-piss" attitude. She ends up being more mad than anything else. Vert is a true otaku, collecting stuff like posters, manga and games. Tender and sweet best describe the way she behaves among others and BL is one of her personal tastes (as many common girls, I believe).
The entire original cast made its appearance, including even Compa (Compile Heart) and IF (Idea Factory), both related to the developers, as well as CPUs' little sisters, who debuted on Hyperdimension Neptunia Mk2 and even 5pb!
{ENJOYMENT - 7/10}
At first, it was kind of weird to watch an animation based on a game. This is new to me so, like with Akane-iro ni Somaru Saka, I had no idea from what to expect. At the end, it was enjoyable, despite the huge amount of fanservicing (almost the entire anime), which is not much on the video game.
{OVERALL - 6/10}
It's about gaming. Everything relates to consoles or even computing matters, so it's nice to see a personification from the most famous systems nowadays. Also, every nation's scenario relates in some way with the respective device under its name and that just makes it more original. Nothing too special and you'll get a better experience from the games, but watching this is nice to get deeper into Neptunia series!
