This is basically toradora tsundere type series set in a heavy metal music club. The only thing I remember enjoying about it because its been like 4 years but the art is pretty good and actions are very expressive. It has that 2000s feel because its from 2010-2011 so aesthetics hadn't changed too much from the previous decade and I can't get enough of the 90s-2000s era of manga and anime so its not all bad. Dorky mc too so this is really another one of those self insert imagine if ... I was in Japan and had a club with a 10/10 super attractive red haired metal fan omg !!
tbh if your into that type of series then this could be your hidden gem.

3-4/10 to me but objectively like a 5-6/10

This is the first work by goat Fujisawa Tohru the author of GTO.
The synopsis already covers this but this is a story with a trans mc who is a male but was raised his entire life as a female. Its mainly a comedy with a little bit of romance especially as it progresses. The humor is pretty good with it being a toned down version of something like dokuro-chan where normally a reaction of maybe punching someone will be stabbed, blown up or smashed with a giant hammer. It has the cool 1980s vibe with the artstyle and the inclusion of delinquent or yanki ... type characters.

Basically for the plot the main trans girl starts attending a boarding school because her parents want her to get more used to acting like a girl in public, and the fact that she isn't a real girl and still has her shit hanging is unknown to everyone but her roomate / best friend that helps her hide it from everyone. The school is unisex but the living dorms they actually are in are separated by gender so the mc is in the all girls one. The mc is also dumb asf so she will constantly be almost fucking everything up until her roomate comes in and saves her from the situation. The romance part is basically the female roomate starts crushing on the mc.

Read it back in 2020 but had a quick refresh bc I saw nobody has reviewed it for some reason. Overall its pretty good, the humor is decent, art is decent and if you like 1980s series or rom-com type shit try this.

It has the tag of a harem, but honestly I didn't see as many typical harem aspects in the show as I thought I would. The premise of having all your kawaii teachers [and a loli one too] come live with you sounds like the perfect setup for some intense ecchi scenes, but what I actually found was a little different. The only ecchi thing I can even really remember is probably that tomboy teacher always pushing the main character into her tits. Besides that it was more like a comedy and I think it was genuinely funny.

Besides one over dramatic and pretty much ... garbage episode with some random girl and I think the main character had to like appreciate his "mamas" or something, every other episode started with that amazing intro and was really funny. If your looking for a show that basically encapsulates that 2000s anime aesthetic and is really short, so short that you could watch it and probably finish it in two class periods, then maybe give this show a watch.
