The whole setting is similar. Two guys travelling around the countryside and are confronted with demons and hiddden powers. Neither of them are actual Shonen Ai yet alone yaoi, but well ...you just know that it is Shonen Ai anyway :) Can't explain it in a better way. It is really cute and thrilling at the same time!! Koori is still my favorite, but I liked Jinjuu a lot too.

Both are about a demon and a special human boy travelling around in a "dark ages"-like time with demons, princes, sorcerers and stuff. While Koori no Monogatari is "only" Shonen Ai, Crimson Spell is definitely Yaoi. I kind of needed my time to accepted it and to love them. But only compared to Blood & Ishuca from Koori, which whom I fell in love straight away. I personally love Koori a lot more, but I can't deny a lot of similarities! Even in the looks: The (seme) demon/sorcerer has silver long hair (though Blood is always cutting it), the (uke) human boy short black hair. One more thing, the uke in Crimson Spell is a lot more seme-ish. He fights really well and can be very dangerous.

Well yes there is no supernatural stuff in Maid-sama, but in Kami-sama there is. But still. I think Maid-sama is pretty unique (and ended - just like Kami-sama - way to early, when all the good stuff from the mange was about to happen)... I can only recommend Kami-sama if you liked Maidsama. Why? Because of the relationship between our "future" couple. Misaki & Nanami are both strong and straight forward, the boys are always teasing her but also ALWAYS protecting her. There is just a little god-demon stuff going on in Kami-sama ;)

Honestly...it is like the same show. It's like it is just one couple more in the Sekaiichi world. One more story. It's even the same animation style :)

Both Shounen Ai (plus a bit yaoi - though it's just "knowing what'll happen or what's happening, than actually seeing it). Both amazing cute couples. Tight Rope "only" has one couple, since it is just a 2ep. OVA, and it is more about protecting each other, than the "daily life" problems in Sekaiichi. Both are amazing :D

The atmosphere is quite similar. Though in Uraboku the love-relationships are real, Kuroshitsuji is more like a feeling (an amazing one though, it's my favorite anime & manga!!!). Plus both would be shounen ai (though yes, Kuroshitsuji is [like said] no real shounen ai. Just the feeling of it.) The mutual atmosphere / feeling results from the will to protect the ones you love. Luka (and Hotsuma/Sushei) in Uraboku - Sebastian in Kuroshitsuji! AND the music in both animes is AMAZING ;)
