Mosquito war is the 3rd work of one of my favorite authors, however, it is a very underwhelming one.
It has a similar premise to The horizon but worse in every single way. Not a single good character is presented in Mosquito War, greatly caused by the short runtime. 48 chapters were not enough for such a grand story, a lot could be done but was missed.
Characters 3/10, poorly written, and lack motives. There was no depth to the main character whatsoever, the only present was her will to become stronger. Dr kim was even worse, he is supposed to be the most important character

The story feels very bland, and the definition of PLOT ARMOR. Mid at best.
Worldbuilding: Very mid, even though there are some interesting mysteries about this world. I hated how the author is not showing us anything about this interesting world, how everybody asks unnecessary questions about the environment but not the important stuff we as readers care about. WE ARE 156 chapters into the story and we still do not know the dynamic between the continents and the politics surrounding the characters. The mc: Interesting premise but executed horribly, everything gets magically solved by the MC's brain even though he faces enemies thousands of times stronger ...

Mid and guilty pleasure. Best words to describe this work.
Art: 6/10 poor environmental drawings but decent character design story: 3/10 The creator did no even try, poor pacing, poorly written plots Characters: 2/10 Not a single good character, illogical motives and flashbacks out of nowhere To be honest its just another generic op mc type of manhwa. It is below average but is a guilty pleasure. Don't waste your time here and go read something else. It felt like the creator just wanted to check out the boxes of generic plots in Manhwa. School ✓ romance✓ op mc✓ secret organization ✓ out-of-place comedy ✓

I got into this manhwa from a TikTok and boy it was a ride
Story: Very confusing at times and honestly all over the place. I could see the author trying to make up for the story by strengthening the atmosphere part, which was partly successful—otherwise very poorly written story with no clear points. I hated how the pacing and how the story went from horror psychology to sci-fi. Art: I loved the first few chapters of the manhwa bc of this aspect and the dark environment however it becomes fragile later on since the lights are more available. The art supported the horror and the psychological sides ...

Just as DJ khaled says "Life is roblox"
Mushoku tensei has a unique story that made all of the other isekais copy the source material which is the light novel. But the anime now clearly does standout crazy much in some aspects because it came out a little late in the race with other animes. But it still is a great experience for the ones that have lost their faith in the isekai genre.
