These two mangas are honestly quite similar, they both have similar events that happen to the protagonists during their childhood, creating a "fated" person in which they are going to end up with. They both have difficullties in finding exactly which person they met when they were younger, creating an entire dillema surrounding that fact. Both protagonists also help the characters around them grow as people and learn new things about themselves. They both have somewhat decent character growth, allowing their new experiences dictate their new actions. To be honest, the entire time that I was reading Nisekoi, I kept thinking to myself, "Wow this manga is really just like Couple of Cuckoos and the Quintessential Quintuplets mixed together." Nisekoi probably inspired both of them, as the reuccuring character tropes are seen visibly almost everywhere.
