A history lesson that's a little hard to keep up with. Well, with episodes lasting roughly 5 minutes, everything is quickfire learning. But you eventually get by. The very first scene in episode 1 got me interested and I was able to take in the fact that the series gives a human form to the countries of the world (Although at first I'd imagine England/Britain with darker hair, but I'm used to it now.)
Though I'm sure I'll get all sorts of disagreement, I actually prefer the FUNimation dub. I'm sorry, sub lovers. The accents put me in a good mood to watch. Maybe the narration ...

Preliminary (10/14 eps)
I think by the time Endless Eight arrived in June, people have forgotten about Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody, which was my 2nd favourite story (First being Disappearance) but that was about the only good episode of the second series. While as far as I know,I can't give reviews on episodes separately, unfortunately, my review isn't going to be good about it but with endless eight its hardly surprising.
I read the Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody chapter in the novel, and it was worth reading. When I saw the first anime series first before reading the novels, I was thinking to myself that there was a lack of time ...
