Drifters Review, or should you call it: Battle in a brand-new world war (cuz it seems Kouta Hirano really likes world wars)
Ok, Drifters, to be clear and fast, was an anime that could´ve been a lot more than what it was, but still ended up being an enjoyable action-piece that may or may not satisfy action fans.
Story: 7
-Drifter´s story is somewhat interesting, I would say. Its premise is that a bunch of famous war figures get transported to another world at the time of their death. A world where they will fight in a BRAND-NEW WORLD WAR, wich seems to be the subtitle of the
...
anime, but nobody really cares about that.
-Yes, it fits in one of the much popular "transported to another world" anime tropes, but that doesn´t stop you from enjoying it.
-After the aforementioned transportation to another world, the show evolves into a bit of a medieval war story, with warfare and all that juicy action.
Art: 8
-Let me just say that the art is one of this anime´s strongest points.
-If you know Kouta Hirano, he´s the creator of Hellsing, and also the creator of Drifters, so, as expected, this animes has very similar art and character designs to Hellsing, although less refined I would say.
Sound:8
-I will only say one thing: SICK OPENING!
-Can´t even believe they actually used a rock song for the op, it works so well that I just like to hear the music in repeat!
"Gospel Of Full Throttle"!!!
Character:7
-I mean, the characters are basically copies of what they were when alive in this world.
-All but a couple of them. I would say Nobunaga was the one that received more character development and actually went beyond what he was in this world.
-I really wnjoyed the bit of character understanding we got of some of them, including the villains (called Ends), like Joan Of Arc.
Enjoyment:7
-Mindless action fun sometimes, but highly boring at other times.
-The comedy was a little off-putting, and overall unnecessary.
Overall:7
-I´d say that if you like your action shows, your transported to another world shows, and your historical shows, then Drifters is right up your alley.
-But there are a lot of other better ones in each of these genres.
-Watchable.

Ok, weird anime is weird.
That´s pretty much all I can say about "Saikin, Imouto no Yousu ga Chotto Okashinda ga".
I mean, look at the plot: A girl is obligated to wear a chastity belt until she can seduce her older brother (of course, not blood related) and send her ghost friend to heaven.
It´s pretty stupid, but I always give a try to stupid looking anime, because they might actually make me laugh. And this anime...made me laugh, at least a bit.
Story: 6
Look, even though there seems to be a story, most of the anime is just fanservice, scenes where it looks like I´m watching a
...
very softcore hentai. There´s almost no development during it´s entirety, which is usual in these kinds of adaptations. Sometimes, I really didn´t know what I was watching, and I felt like rage quiting the episode right then and there. Still, sometimes it was actually fun. Sometimes.
Art:5
Even though "5" means "mediocre" on MAL, the art of this anime is basically what the anime itself is, average. It looks like the art-style I´ve seen in so many other anime that sometimes I wonder if they´re all set in the same world or something. Not even bringing in the characters, that look like super generic characters. Sigh...
Sound:6
What can I really say about the sound? It wasn´t bad.
I have the habit of always listening to the OP and ED in each episode, so I eventually get them in my head, but I can say they weren´t bad. They were catchy and that´s what matters.
Character:6
Even though this is a 6, the characters were really generic, as in they fit in all the existent character tropes, and they look like (yet again) characters taken from other generic anime series.
First, we have the "Bland and Generic Male Protagonist That Lacks Balls", if you really like this type of character, you can find him in about 90% of light novels.
Then, we have the "Main Female Protagonist Who Faints Ignorance Of (Not Blood Related) Older Brother, But In Reality Is Just Being A Tsundere And Actually Wants His D". The name says it all.
Besides them, we have other generic characters, like: "Big Boobied Nee-san Type Childhood Friend That Also Wants Generic Male Protagonist´s D", the ever lovable "Deadpan Girl That Knows A Lot More That What She Leads On", "The Happy-Go-Lucky And Stupidly Perverted Best Friend", and of course "The Perverted Girl That Likes To Sexually Molest Other Girls"...
Yeah, all lovable characters, that we *really* love so much!!
Enjoyment:6
Surprisingly, I actually enjoyed watching this, even though it was bland and generic, it wasn´t bad.
Overall:6
I think that this series was just weird overall, and I seriously tell you to think twice before watching it. If you like ecchi that tries to be over-the-top but fails, then this is the anime for you. If you actually want to watch anime that has over-the-top ecchi then how about watching "Shinmai Maou No Testament" or "KissXSis".
Oh well...
Just have that in mind.

If you´re waiting for a nice and relaxing slice of life comedy, then this anime is exactly that.
The characters are mostly lovable in their entirety and once you get used to their weird quirks and ways, you really will get attached to this anime. I found myself sometimes screaming at the screen because of some weird and stupid thing Umaru did, and you can bet, she does a lot of stupid things.
The comedy is on point with all the characters and the anime and gaming references make up for some interesting details that, if you understand, will have you raising the corners of your mouth.
Overall,
...
this anime is a comedy that will not leave you hanging.
Also, my personal opinion, Kirie is best girl.
