After having caught up with the 499th chapters, this isy review.

Looks matters! Here's the story about MC Daniel Park (Park Hyung Suk) who changes school after facing racism based on his looks and fat body. One day he finds himself in another body (perfect body) while his original body is lying on the floor.

Till chapter 300, the story only revolves around the schools, teenagers, friends. It gets more serious after the 300th chapter. It picks up pace and you get to see MORE ACTION, STRONG FIGHTERS, GANG WARS after this.

What's best about this manhwa is you get the BACKSTORY OF EVERY ... CHARACTER there is. Each of them have their tragic past that one can relate to.

Martial Arts, Action panels, Handsome & Powerful Guys, Great story, Character Development,... this manhwa has it all. If you think the manhwa is lengthy, just wait till chapter 300. MC Daniel Park (Park Hyung Suk) changes astonishingly after that. Then you like it more and more...

The preface is similar to Doomsbreaker. MC Ronan regressed to the past to do what he couldn't do in the past. He is on the brink of death, but the enemy is not down yet. After taking an orb to regress in time, his story begins. It's ten years for the tragedy war to happen, and the same time for him to prepare.

Similar to many Manhwa such as Doom Breaker but characters, story is just as good.
No issue in Art. It's great.
Watch this for the MC Ronan.

My sole focus in this manhwa has been on the main character MORI JIN. In the later chapters, his identity is revealed to be of Jaechdaeseong (aka SUN WUKONG/THE MONKEY KING) who is super+ powerful.
The other main characters Mira Yoo and Han Daewi have their share of story as well.
These three trio meet at GOH tournament which has its purpose. Soon they are the best friends and are involved in the plan of...

The author seriously tried to mix up different mythologies from this world, and this manhwa is a result of that. As a result, the author knowingly or unknowingly with his ... half assed knowledge spread false information on that. I didn't like this. 👎🏽 People who take Information on religion, faith, history will be seriously mislead with such manhwa. Anyway...

They really milked this manhwa. I'm satisfied that I completed it atleast which was ony read list.
Throughout the manhwa I was focused on watching Mori Jin only as Sun Wukong has beeny favourite character just like Saiyan Son Goku.

7/10 (if not for the art and Sun Wukong, I wouldn't give this more than 6)

Just the basic concept of world building when MC (human) saves an Elf (FMC). The story progresses, and...
The characters and their interactions are cute.
Disappointed that the FMC & MC didn't even kiss in the entire manga. There's hardly any Nudity and Romance, given that it has these tags.

Standard Romance between an Elf and a Human. Innocent elf who doesn't know about the human world, and it's really funny at times.
Having read similar stories over the years, this manga doesn't satisfy my desire. Based on my standards, an Elf is one of the sexiest being in fantasy genre, and there's so much ... potential if you wanna make stories on them. Thanks anyway, and hope many of you will enjoy!

Personally, I've never once tried SWIMMING in my life, and this show perhaps motivates me, reminds me to join the sport (the fluid motion in water, the cold, :D) ; maybe the reason I adore this show so much (despite the score I gave it).

Not much to say about this show, based on 'professional swimming'. It is based on a bunch of guys involved in the sport, a protagonist of course, & their path towards going professional starting from their childhood. Efforts matters, and their skills, experience, luck, surroundings, friendship, passion, motivation,... will be significant to define where & how fast they progress. The ... show is 'slice of life', drama.

Highlights :
- Hot, ripped (lean) guys.
- Fluid animation during swimming, especially when they swim.
- Slice of Life movements
- Information on the sport.

Someone interested in sports (physical activities), particularly swimming must surely check out this one. I hope you'll have fun. :D

NANATSU NO TAIZAI (Season 1 & 2) have been very special to me. I still remember the 'fantasy' feeling every time I recollect those seasons.

Too bad we have to part with NNT this way.

"[Animation Quality & Fast Pacing]" ruined this season is what I will say, in short. Realizing how disappointing this is, I had to 'fast forward' watch the episodes. One of the show which I desperately wanted to get done with.

... Animation aside, some episodes really had some great moments, especially the last episodes which were emotional.

MELIODAS has been my favorite character since season 1. He is childish, yet more mature than anyone else.

Favorite episode : 24 ----> [ELIZABETH x MELIODAS = TRISTAN] in the end. *happy ending*

OP and ED songs, like always, have been really good to listen to.

Just as how MELIODAS accepted MERLIN, I'm gonna accept this season as it is, the reason being the special memories when I watched NNT season 1 & 2.

A memorable show, either way. *emotional*

NON-STOP ACTION-PACKED!
So Incredible! Wholesome!
This is on a whole different level!

Near about 2 hours of movie full of burning passion, which offers everything within this short span. It doesn't give you any rest with the non-stop activity (burning) going on.

There's nothing useless, and everything is to the point.

SCI-FI story! Having watched a few similar shows (Darling in the Franxx + Kill la Kill + Tengen Toppa Guren Lagann), I assumed it is just your typical story, but it isn't ; except that the characters are passionate in both the cases. The story excited me when Deus Prometh explained the science of ... promare. Deus Prometh gave a brief explanation, although I couldn't keep up with his explanation, but hearing those names alone made me so excited!

The ANIMATION is just incredible. I'm so grateful for the dedicated work by the animators. The Animation was full of activity, and nothing was useless at all.

I've never seen a show like Promare ; something so concise, yet so beautiful, so full of activity, so full of passion,...

This is a masterpiece in true sense, something that excites you even if you don't like the genre.

Art-Animation cannot always save the show. The same goes with this movie. Except Animation, every other element felt average. Even the fighting scenes didn't excite me.

The Demons were not scary at all. The last fight was cool to watch.

... RENGOKU explained about breath control. I very much accept the science of Breath Control explained by him, and how mastering it can manifest miraculous things.

RENGOKU became my favorite character. He is truly closest to the ideal character for me. I gave 8 especially for him.

The ending was emotional, but in the end everything physical must perish.

KINGDOM is back as a 3rd season, with its 'SPINE CHILLING' moments! (You feel the same, right!)

[Li Mu] has returned with his [coalition army] with the neighbor nations to attack [Qin]. The season is focused on this war, and how (if) Qin fight this war when it's at such a huge disadvantage! ----- What will happen to XIN's goal of becoming the greatest general? I've watched all the 26 episodes and enjoyed every bit of it.

... First Things First :
- The art is just the same, and I didn't notice any change in animation quality.
- I like XIN as a protagonist from season 1. He is just as reckless as ever, and kind, and 'Baka'.
- The ED song is just so Epic with its animation!
- Forget about story. It's about war, and I like watching Brutes! That said, the role of strategist is significant, and most characters here are so cool!


The first half of the season focuses on the war at [Hangu-Pass], when [Li Mu] attacks [Qin] with his newly formed ['Coalition army'] with the neighbor nations (can't remember their names). [Qin] is at a serious disadvantage now that even one of the most recognized ['greatest general' Wang Yi] has gone. [Hangu-Pass] has never been conquered before, but the enemy this time is [Li Mu] and with that serious disadvantage in number how will [Qin] defend their kingdom (forget the attacking part)?


HIGHLIGHTS of this season :
- XIN's recklessness.
- XIN supports BIAO GONG's troops.
- XIN slays one of the enemy general.
- BIAO GONG and his conversation with XIN.
- XIN's just great!
- ZHENG (the king) is here!
- The Civilians played a great role!
- The 'Miracle' that saved the war.
- XIN vs PANG NUAN !
- QIAN LEI is free now!


The first half was really great, but the second half has been the most spine chilling (especially recklessness of XIN), each episode, especially after the death of BIAO GONG, how XIN and his allies along with the new unexpected comrades saved the losing war. XIN's duel with PANG NUAN was just amazing!

The comment section has been fun as well, although there was not much activity.

I wish to see season 4 with the same amazingness.

"I... am too blessed." -- IZUKU MIDORIYA (ep.25)


(NOTE : This review might be more about DEKU than the season 5 itself.)


IZUKU MIDORIYA is close to my ideal character, so I'm giving this season 10 for this very reason. Even if I take other aspects of this season into account, this season was quality wise very well made, and it wasn't boring for me at all (except episode 16 which I 'fast forward' watched).

I see positivity in DEKU, more than any other character in this show. For his personality, his kindness, his attitude, his dedication, his goal, his resolve, I admire him ... and wish to be like him.

The above quote (ep.25 --17:48) made me so pleasant, that even without supernatural powers, I like this guy for his positive attitude towards life.

LESS SIGNIFICANT :
The vibe hasn't changed & this season felt the same as its prequels. More characters, more friendship, more villains, more actions. I am satisfied with this.

-- Every season of BNHA have some spine chilling episodes, and this season has more of them ; like DEKU's outburst of power which he couldn't control, which was a memorable scene for me.
-- Then there's also BAKUGO and his 'rude' way of interacting with others which is kinda adorable.
-- I liked seeing ENDEAVOUR as a character, his manliness, his wish for atonement,...
-- ENDEAVOUR's tensed family situation eased up! DEKU helps TODOROKI realize his feelings which was really heartwarming.
