This is my first and probably will be the only review written. I am writing this because I hope my review can help people to stay with the anime and hope for a second season.

First of all, I am not a manga reader, so I am limited to the animated version of this title.

The anime had an abysmal start. The first 4 episodes were very poorly animated with almost frame to frame scenes, accompanied with repetitive "cheering" that dragged most of the time. It felt awkward and bothersome. If I had to rate the anime based on the first ... 4 episodes, I would have given it a 2 score.

After the first bout finished, starting at episode 5 the fluidity in story-telling improved with almost no boring scenes. The animations also gradually improved into a full fledged animation. With its originally interesting story, the anime became intriguing to watch.

The anime grows on you. By 3rd bout, you will be hooked and asking for more. If you cannot stand the first episode, I suggest directly skip to episode 5 and start watching there.
