The first episode had so much promise for the rest of the show. Unfortunely it fell pretty flat midway and never reached those highs. I like the premise. They all have different interesting powers. Asdoes the world their in. Rules to follow. Mysterys and logics to unravel. I liked the animation and art.

But then overall i never really cared much for the different characters in the show. And yes the show kinda lost me at some point what was really going on. Its pretty convoluted. But even then with shows like Ergo Proxy or Laine even when it sometimes lost me plotwise there were ... other strenghts in the show to kep me interested. Characters. Setting. Music. Or something else. Nothing like that stood out with Sonny boy so it kinda lost my attention at the end.

Music was only ok. No OP id dissapointing. The ED pretty good.

Still all in all if you like the genre i think its worth a watch. Only 12 episodes and the premise of the show is interesting so id say try it out.

An extremely visually pleasing anime. The style, animation art. Straight away from episode one i felt this was gonna be good. Overall id say stylish edgy action anime not to take to seriously just enjoy the action and good looks. Overall an inreresting and fun cast of characters with their own quirks and powers. It never really excels at something but its always enjoying to watch.

Music was ok. But not anything that stood out. Especially the Op and Ed.

Asfar as original animes or more short action packed and fastpaced shows go you cant go wrong with Akudama drive. If not for anything else ... a treat for your eyes.

Felt like something id enjoy reading about it but ultimately fell very flat and really didnt raise any feelings at all during the 12 episodes. This includes negative feelings also though so its not that it was bad. Just very mediocre.

I think ultimately my biggest dissapointment is the plot. Or rather lack of. Stleast from these 12 episodes it never established a bigger plot taking place in the world of Kemono Jihen. Its just a smal Kemono agency taking different odd jobs.. Each case is dealt with pretty much at the end of each episode.

It doesnt have any great character development. No great ... music. The fights are nothing special. Op and Ed boring. Just very meh. Cant see myself continue going on these 12 episodes if they make a second season.

A very meh 6/10 standard shounen. With so many better out there in a competetive genre i have a hard time recommending this.

A very visual pleasing anime. The animation quality and cinematic feeling is very pleasing to the eye. But looks can only get you so far. Its the content that really matters and thats where this falls very flat.

First of im not familiar with the game. So i feel i might not be the target audience herd so i dont want to be to hard on it why i give it a 6/10 despite being fairly bored by the show.

To me it seems you get thrown into the whole thing without much knowledge and they never go very deep explaining things about the world. ... The factions. Characters. Its just thrown straight at you. Hard to get invested in it all. Its only 8 episoded long so maybe its something that will come with time but i dont think the show doed a good job getting you interested enough to continue. Right after the final episode i didnt felt motivated to continue and i doubt i will.

They say first impressions is important. For an anime that would usually count for the visuals since thats the first thing youll notice when you start an anime. And for me this is where Megalonia starts its success. Immediately i found myself attached to this show by looks alone and just felt i was gonna like it. Dont know how to describe it but it kinda had that early 2000 feel to its animation but with a more modern standard. Cant remember any show from around 2020 that managed to do this as good as Megalonia Box.

Ofcourse with only that you wont get very ... far. Luckily thats only the beginning of it as the inside was as tasty as the outside looked. Really enjoyed all the characters. Writing and characters felt more mature than your usual anime with screaming and quirky teenage characters.

Oh the music. While the Op and Ed didnt stand out to me the original score was incredible.

Also you dont need to be a boxning fan for this. Ive ignored Hajime no Ippo for a long time as im not a boxing fan. I usually go tge full lenght also when i start the show and with 70+ episodes i never got around giving it a chance. But this was 13 so it was easier to give a chance. And immediately upon finishing this i said to myself to give Hajime a look in the future. Thats how good this show ended up being. Oh and goes without but i will ofcourse watch the second season of Megalonia.
Highly recommend this.

Really want to like this more than i do but…. No. It just doesnt resonate to me in its content. The setup for the story is pretty cool. The story and mystery surrounding this castle. The shadows and dolls themselves. Whats hiding behind this mystery and all. Im still kinda interested in seeing where its going so i might stick around for more season.

But overall i just find the characters very bland and uninteresting. The pacing is so slow. Theres just not much happening to drive the mystery forward.

The only thing i enjoyed more of S2 was the new OP. The rest was ... kinda stagnant from first season. Not much actually happened in regards to the story. Just more everyday stuff in the castle.

So i continue to give it a 7/10 for the premise and hopes for the future it will pick up the pace.

6/10 might be generous rating seeing how my own enjoyment was probably liwer. Half asleep during the second half i was to be honest. But i feel i wasnt the target audience. I had my doubts already before watching if this really was for me. But i thought i mught aswell give it a chance. But again it didnt appeal to me in tve slightest and i wont continue the second season.

Really cant say anything left a positive impression. Story is about a bunch of alpha male delinquents screaming. Fighting. Crying. Acting tough. Found no character to leave a lasting impression. Not a ... positive atleast. Pretty much an all male cast. Not much of a story. The fights are boring. The backstories are no good and didnt get me to synphatise with anyone. Shounen? Feels more like something that should be a josei. All male cast. Pretty boys crying feeling sorry for themselfs acting all delinquent like.

Music didnt appeal either. A very meh show that made me feel sleepy. Round two? No thanks.

Enjoyable. But nothing more than that. Feels like, without ever becoming bad, each new entry is less interesting. Especially this one. A movie. Feels like very little of entertainment or relevance happened in this movie. Obviously with shorter runtime. Its basically a 4 ep season. You never gonna have much of importance happen when its in the middle of the story.

Also there was mostly focus on Anya. Feel the rest got to little time. Ofcourse jokes are starting to feel familiar and repetetive now and just does not have the same effect anymore.

I will continue this show. Itd entertaining enough. But hopefully theyll ... the seasons coming rather than movies.

Im not that interested in sports anime. It needs to be more than just slice of life or more realistic drama like take on the sport. Before this one i could count the numbers of sportsamine ive seen on one hand. My favorite is One outs. Which is more psychology focused with lots of mind games. Since Blue Lock wasnt in any other genre than sports i wasnt sure this would be to my liking but pretty quickly you notice this isnt your average drama/slice of life sports anime but much more intense and bizarre.

The methods used to try and bring forward the best ... striker. The intense synergy between the players. Team mates and opponents. The games between them, not just the teams but individually. A strong cast of characters that were interesting to follow. Loved the real world references and view of fotball as a whole as someone very familiar to the game. Perfect blend of very over the top thinking about the game with more realistic and factual stuff.

Music didnt stand out. Not bad but nothing that caught my attention to much.

Animation went from lesser good use of cgi to some really cool character animations. Great VA.

This is one to keep watching for sure. Looking forward to the second season. It starts out as a strong 8/10 for me.

Another show from what i consider golden age of anime. 2000-2009. Theres something about the art style and animation i love. Maybe as simple as nostalgia. But still. Theres also the stories they did around this time. The psychology genre. Or as in this case more fantasy alongside shows like Pandora hearts or D gray man.

Now this show is put in the Josei category which i didnt know until after. Im usually cautious with this since Hokkaiden or more recently Banana fish which had alot of boy boy love. Not interested. But this is one is not at all in that category. This is ... alot more story focused with lire and world building. The only Josei part is maybe pretty boys stuff but not like Banana Fish.

Really enjoyed this. Good music. The story was interesting. This is another show like previously mentioned in the genre which unfortunely never got and never will get a full adaptation. Had it i can see myself giving it higher rating. But seeing these 25 episodes made med interested enough to check out the manga someday.

8/10 for me and a must watch if tou like the genre and most importantly dont let the Josei put you off. This is nothing like Banana fish.
