I loved playing the mobile dating sim, and was really excited about the anime. But it's... really disappointing. The episodes are short, there's no real substance, the humor is bad, and they missed the nail on some of the original characters' personalities. I would probably rate it worse if I wasn't holding onto the nostalgia of my love for the game, and especially for the twins, Beelzebub and Belphegor. They did them a little justice in this show, at least. They made most of the characters really irritating and dislikable, and the story was boring. If you played the game prior to watching this show,

I guess I'm a real sucker for movies that I relate to quite a bit, cuz Omoide no Marnie is perfect. This is hands down my favorite Studio Ghibli, or just my favorite anime film in general, of all time. It's peaceful, the art is beautiful, and it just holds a special place in my heart. Fruits Basket is one of my favorite manga. It follows a very sweet, hardworking, passive airhead that befriends and moves in with (kinda accidently) a family of people not really related by blood, but instead by a curse. Their personalities are based around the zodiac animal they are cursed with, and I'm particularly fond of the ox, snake, and rabbit. Honda is dragged into the family drama, gets to know all of the characters, and the plot goes about her breaking the curse and falling in love with the zodiac outcast, the cat. Sk8 is a very fun, colorful, exciting anime to watch. I wouldn't say it's in my top 10, but I like it a lot. Very punky and playful, the skating is not at all realistic but every character has a unique style and it gives the anime "that special flair." That's kind of the point though, it was made to be a feel-good experience instead of taken seriously. I think the biblical depictions of some characters (Adam, Eve, and the Snake) is kinda neat. I'm not gonna go out of my way to rate every episode individually (but instead as a whole series). Towa No Quon is just awesome, one of my top 10 favorites. Sure, the topics of mutants being hunted and android weapons have been recycled throughout time, but who cares? It's good! The art style is pretty, the characters are neat, and the fight scenes are really cool. I can argue that this may be my absolute favorite anime of all time. It's brilliant, the art style is beautiful, the story is beautiful, it's the perfect slice-of-life comedic tragedy love story or whatever. The plot follows a dead girl who is given a chance (a wish) to be reborn and live life again if she can fulfil the task of helping a certain amount of people heal from distress and bring happiness to the world. The anime is genuinely adorable and wholesome, touches on some pretty heavy topics but always has a happy outcome and a comedy filled bowtie wrapping it all together.

Gun x Sword is in my top 10 favorite anime of all time. It's got western themes, cool mechs (called "armors" in GxS), comedic relief, and a main antagonist that makes the characters question right from wrong because he comes off as peaceful and oddly wholesome. That being said, I can acknowledge that the plot is not *good*. It's corny as all hell and most of the "villains" are really, REALLY bad (purposely, and painfully so lol).
