Mixed Feelings
Preliminary (7/13 eps)
The show is pretty fun. I certainly don't think it's for everyone as some of the characters can come off as obnoxious. But, something I really enjoy is the fact that the main-character isn't taking all the screen-time. There are some episodes where he's mostly not even on screen. So you're watching more of the other characters in the story, with the main character being mentioned by name only.

I don't know why, but I actually rather enjoy this kind of story. But, other then that, there's nothing ground-breaking about the show itself. It's great if you want to kill some time.

Shinmai Ossan Boukensha, Saikyou Party ni Shinu hodo Kitaerarete Muteki ni Naru feels like a shallow attempt to capture the same magic as One-Punch Man but falls short in almost every way. The protagonist comes off as hollow, with an empty sense of justice that seems to lack any real foundation or depth. Even after watching several episodes, it's still unclear what truly drives the main character. Their motivations feel superficial and directionless, leaving viewers disconnected from the story.

The supporting characters are decent but nothing special. Like the protagonist, they are overpowered, and the entire team feels like an unbeatable force with no real struggles. ...

Ore wa Subete wo "Parry" suru is one of those anime that starts with potential but eventually falls flat due to overused and frustrating tropes. The main issue is the protagonist's complete obliviousness to his own strength, a trope that has been done to death in these types of shows. It’s hard to watch a character be so unaware of their abilities, especially when everyone around them either ignores their power or is blinded by their own misconceptions. This disconnect between the protagonist and the rest of the cast makes their motivations feel hollow and forced.

Even the supporting characters seem to live in their own ...

Maougun Saikyou no Majutsushi wa Ningen datta left me with mixed feelings. The anime does offer a fresh take on the isekai fantasy adventure genre, but the execution leaves much to be desired. One of the main issues is the one-dimensionality of the characters, which makes it hard to get invested in their fates. For example, Ike's right-hand servant serves as nothing more than comedic relief, and many of his other henchmen follow the same pattern. Their main purpose seems to be to make Ike look like a genius, but they ultimately come off as flat and predictable.

The humor quickly becomes repetitive, and after a ...

Preliminary (8/12 eps)
Hazurewaku no "Joutai Ijou Skill" de Saikyou ni Natta Ore ga Subete wo Juurin suru made is your typical overpowered male protagonist fantasy, with little substance beyond the usual power-trip narrative. The plot is predictable, with girls constantly fawning over the protagonist, and the story follows a generic revenge arc that lacks depth or emotional weight. The characters are as one-dimensional as they come, making it hard to care about their development—or lack thereof.

That said, the artwork and fight scenes are decent enough to hold your attention, making it a passable watch if you’re just looking for something to kill time. It doesn’t offer much ...

Preliminary (8/12 eps)
Isekai Shikkaku offers a fresh take on the overdone "Hero in Another World" premise, but it comes with its own set of oddities. While it’s far from the worst in the Isekai genre, it grapples with some questionable narrative choices that can be hard to overlook. The main theme of suicidal tendencies is a heavy one, and while it may resonate with some viewers, it could alienate others who find it too dark or out of place in an Isekai context.

One of the major issues lies in the protagonist's motivations. We're told he's suicidal, with no real attachment to life, yet he still manages to ...

Preliminary (11/12 eps)
Isekai Yururi Kikou tries to present a "happy-go-lucky" adventure, but it falls flat in delivering anything engaging or meaningful. The story itself lacks depth, and most episodes feel like filler with no real direction. A significant chunk of screen time is wasted on the overused trope of glorifying Japanese food, which becomes repetitive and tiresome. Instead of developing the plot or characters, the anime relies too heavily on this theme, making it feel like you're just watching one long advertisement for food culture.

Visually, the art is nothing to rave about. It's not terrible, but it's far from memorable. The animation is serviceable but lacks the ...

I'll keep it simple. Although I'd say the story is visually an overall improvement compared to the first season. The jokes are EXTREMELY repetitive to the point it's downright obnoxious and nauseating. They keep repeating the same visual jokes over and over and over and over episode after episode after episode after episode that it disengages you from the story, it's downright jarring. It's like they only had two gags they could come up with, so they decided to go all in with it.

The story will get lost in the redundant jokes that they keep repeating. So it's going to completely ruin it for most ...

Having read the manga, and I don't like being one of those people. But, the manga is a lot better then this mess of an anime adaption.

They've left out the entire phase of his childhood which gives you some really nice background into him and his family. This adaption is also a lot more tell then show.

So I think it doesn't need to be pointed out just how incredibly rushed the storytelling is. It feels more like a highlight reel of Matty's greatest events. They don't just gloss over important details, they outright chucked them in the trash and skipped them.

I enjoy my ...

The story is overall meh... It's not bad, but it's not terrible.. Honestly, as a time killer it wouldn't be so bad.. BUT!

However, for me.. When it comes to manga, one of the most important things is visuals. Otherwise, why bother reading a manga. The artwork in this manga is between borderline horrific and non-existent. I am not exaggerating when I say 98% of the panels, the background is either entirely blank, black/gray or absolute chicken-scratch; as if someone decided to doodle in the background artwork as an afterthought.

Sorry not sorry. But the appeal to manga is the ability to see the world visualized through ...
