This show have a lot of undeserved bad reviews. I think the reason is people was expecting this to be the same of Barakamon and it was not. When you like something in the way it is, you don't want it to change. And Handa-kun have a diferent spirit than it's sequel, which is not so oriented to humor but to a heartwarming slice of life kind of thing. If you haven't watched Barakamon yet or you have not problem with this to be diferent, you will able to enjoy an actually good comedy with a unique personality. I rate by enjoyment and I gave

I almost dropped this on the first episode. Thought I was waching one kind of show and then it abruptly become something completly different without much explination. Thats no bad if you do it right, but this were not the case. The stupid characters (Only Sasami seems fine), the crazy random events and the incest jokes doesn't helped either. But I rarely judge by one episode, so I continued watching and soon found it somehow pretty enjoyable. The show manages to be always cleverly surprising and keeps improving on each episode. Hard to puntuate. At first, it seemed to have a good history and I liked the chemistry betwen the characters, and till episode 5 it was really great. But then its started going downhill from there, maybe because there was not a identificale villian or a clearly objetive to achieve. Actually, the main characters didn't affect the story and can be removed without problem. Nevertheless, still was enjoyable somehow till last episodes, where every was ruined with lots of rushed deux ex machina nonsense. At the end, most questions remains unaswered and the relationships go nowhere. I can't say I not enjoyed watching it, but
