Uszanowanko. First of all, I'll say that I'm quite a big fan of the Shaman King brand. I thought I had to mention it during my review of Dragon Age Veilguard and Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. Yea, so much so that if I had the option to play Shaman King Master Of Spirits for the rest of my life, or watch one episode of Netflix's Castlevania, I'd choose the former. I've watched it twice, and I've also played the games (Master of Spirits and Spirit of Shaman are the best), I even thought of starting to collect some random merch like cards, games, or a

Jun's used, hand-sewn dress and slippers..... Don't look a horse in the mouth and I like Jun a lot....TOO MUCH. But I can't help it that these are the times we live in. Luckily, pandas prefer bamboo. Anyway, I also had in mind that the anime differs from the manga in some places. For me, this was rather....... indifferent information. From the summaries, I knew that the manga has its differences, additional chapters and all, but nothing more. +some things like Faust's dog 8, or the ghost of one of the girls
Hana-Gumi were purely cosmetic changes for me. Until finally the anime came out... and it started
The animation from the Bridge studio (literally translated as bridge) is top-notch. The characters cast shadows, the lights... THEY ARE, and the glow of some ghosts was replaced with background effects, which is not a bad idea... BUT! Personally, I have the impression that the anime is too orange, red. Generally, it casts such strange, unambiguous colors. The version from the Xebec studio did not have this problem, because apart from the fact that each character was expressive, had their own style of clothing and was literally and figuratively colorful, it was able to distinguish the character on the screen. Whenever I watched this version, I had the impression that anyone who is not the main core of the plot is dirt on the tape. And this is only because Amidamaru now has some form of fire. I don't have much to say about the animation, and it's beyond me anyway. When it's good, it's good, and when it's bad, it's bad. Na chuj pursue the topic
Now the plot......Just a curiosity. When I was 13-15, I thought that an anime, to be well-written, should have at least 48-55 episodes. I took it from the fact that every battle shonen I liked back then was a literal tape measure. When I heard that Shaman king 2021 would have 55 episodes, a red light went off. I had a lot of unanswered questions.
How do they want to add a peaceful life for the characters?
How will they add Kenji Gussy?
What will the fights look like?
How will they address side topics?
Well, the answers to those questions are: 1) They don't want to. 2) They'll leave this thread alone. 3) Mediocre. 4) They won't touch it.
You know what? Maybe I really had too high expectations. Maybe I really was blinded by nostalgia. And maybe what I watched is closer to the manga. BUT FOR SOMETHING THAT IN THE ORIGINAL LASTED HALF THE ANIME, AND WAS WRITTEN GREATLY, TO BE CONCLUDED IN 13 EPISODES.....makes me literally try not to write this review without writing f--k every other word and so that it doesn't immediately end up in the latest episode of South Park or Borderlands 4.
Let me put it this way. You know how the Gussey Genji storyline was resolved? It was literally given in one frame. Or do you know how long Wei Payron's fight with Yoh lasts? About 10 minutes. And you know how they showed the fight of Yoh's team with two guitarists, Sharona's team, or the 2nd fight with Ryuunosuke (THE BEST ANIME PUNCHER EVER. Throw at me whoever you want. Josuke, Okuyasu, Mondo, Urameshi, Kurwabara, Knuckle, everyone. Ryuu is the best) The answer is equally simple. They didn't show them because they're not even there XD. Instead of fights, humor, and just plain nice watching the main characters spend time together, also showing what happens if I find a girlfriend and get married too quickly (I'm talking about Yoh's relationship with Anna, who was supposed to be a typical woman in a battle shonen who yells at everyone, but sometimes it looks like sociopathy. No seriously, I know it's documented in the plot, but it's just sick.) Anyway, instead of everything that made the Xebec version so free and original, we have a lot of ghost stories, characters, and all the rest of that bullshit that was supposed to be more faithful to the manga in practice. But the time that was given to this anime made you not have time to think about it much. Since we're talking about the plot, I'll give you something I like the most. *(((*☆☆Comparisons☆☆*)))*
Do you know how long it took in the original for Amidamaru to switch to Yoh's side? At least 2-3 episodes. And do you know how long Wei Pailong's fight lasted (sorry, I've been out of touch with the characters' names for a long time) I think it was also 3 episodes. In the remake, neither of those things last a full episode. I'm not even talking about the fight with Faust. In the Xebec version, between the start of Faust's fight with Yoh and Yoh's attempt to strengthen himself in the cave, it was probably 5-8 episodes. In the remake, they SHOVED IT INTO TWO.
Instead of seeing the bonds between the Shamans, we learn about their unimportant, explained in 5 minutes stories, and instead of checking the whole plot with Laiserg's parents and Iron Maiden (it's a shame the team that carried this coffin wasn't called ED or Melt) it was carried out so quickly that right after that Maya goes looking for some Shinigami (and no, it's not Shiki Fuujin or Ryuk) and a team of religious figures have a connection to Hao and his spirit. Oh, and I almost forgot. The humor comes down to the super funny Tanuki balls.
Oh, and I almost forgot. The fights. The fights are just fucking boring. The creators were probably aware of this themselves, because they gave a whole episode specifically for the fights that they thought were important, just to cut off Corey and Trey's plot. Or to tell the boring and unnecessary story of Tokageroh that made me look at my favorite character differently for a moment. Luckily, after the fight with Faust, they didn't cut out Ryuu on the motorbike.

To be honest, at first I was afraid that this unique film was made by Strudio Trigger. Generally, I don't like to waste time on anything, and since I have few friends and everyone is busy, unfortunately the rule "the worst films become the best comedies" was out of the question. So I decided to watch film at Pawleku. It would be even cool if it weren't for the fact that there was music from UT in the background (undertracs). Because apparently we live in times where good game music is limited only to games played by people with furras in their name, and games such as Final Fantasy, Castlevania and Megaman do not exist. What was still missing was to put

This is the greatest anime on the world! And anyone who says this anime is disgusting simply has bad taste (and probably finished Attack on Titan, Chainsaw Man, Jujutsu Midsen and other bsd sh*t with a 10) and doesn't know what art is! Each character is perfectly described and is not forced in this anime. A good example of this is Kapitan Pancernik, who was blinded by revenge to the rest of the numbers. In addition to the Kapitan Pancernik, there is also Don Patch, who sometimes seems to be a mc with his facial expression. This anime also works well across genres, with Mecha

The movie is average, but certainly better than the game it was based on(And I say this as a full-fledged fan of the FF and JRPG genres) . Another movie based on a game, something like Tekken Blood Vengence. The fights are typical JRPG. If the figure had been cut in half, it would have stood for another hour.
And although the fights can be spectacular, on the other hand everything else makes no sense. Characters jump from left to right as if I were watching Transformers The Movie 1986. The only difference was that Transformers The Movie 1986 had music to match the situation. In ... |
