Similarities: -young male 'hero' -supernatural/ability elements -high school setting While they may not seem super similar in terms of plot, Guilty Crown features a male protagonist that winds up with an ability he does not know the full extent of, just as in Charlotte. Both use these abilities to save many people. In Charlotte, abilities are the norm while in Guilty Crown, 'voids' (manifestations of one's soul/heart) is the norm. The main characters both use others' abilities/voids to their advantage to help others. Both take place in a high school setting. If you loved the supernatural elements, thrill and hero protagonist in Charlotte, you'll love Guilty Crown!

Similarities: -mystery elements -similar art style -lovable, relatable characters with real issues -high school club setting Both anime take place at a high school club. Kokoro Connect, however, has mysterious abilities granted onto the students against their own will. This creates the mystery element. The art style is strikingly similar despite the different studios. The characters all go through some issues at one point or another, and are all lovable. Kokoro Connect is much more dramatic, though, while Hyouka is more chill and calming. If you enjoyed the mystery, characters and art style of Hyouka, then Kokoro Connect is for you!

Similarities: -high school setting -high school club -supernatural elements -'powers' -a tad of mystery Both series include a group of high school students that join a club. In Kokoro Connect, this is a club that friends are in together. In Charlotte, the 'club' is the student council. In Charlotte, however, the abilities are all different and are used on a voluntary basis. In Kokoro Connect, the abilities the club receives are not voluntary. If you like high school 'drama' and supernatural elements such as powers and abilities, Charlotte may interest you just as much as Kokoro Connect did!
