So this song is focused on a war between Gwar Gura and Calliope Mori and their respective fanbases from the Shrimps to the Deadbeats fighting against each other.
To start off with the composition by Deco27 was really catchy and the rapping by mori is as intense and firey as ever and Gwar Gura's melodic chorus was pretty catchy.
The animation by Kay Yu and also the art too was really epic and seeing Calli's outfit would be so perfect to see as a model.
Overall this was a pretty solid hololive song and even if you're cba bout the culture like i am you can still really
...
enjoy the music a good amount.

So for this song here was for an opening for a J-Drama Karada Sagashi that came out not too long ago and it depicts the viewpoint of the character.
The art and animatoin here by Saikyama was really solid and i loved the dystopian like feel to it and it really suits Ado's edgy angsty style pretty well and speaking of which Ado goes hard as always in this song and the beat and rock oriented sound was really catchy and overall this was another solid music video and song from Ado and this could work as a full anime.

So here's another insert song that was from one piece red performed by Ado as Uta.
To start off with as always the art here looks really incredible and the animation thats there really compliments the artstyle as well too.
This composition here was from Hata, Motohiro who's worked on some of the doraemon anime if memory serves me correctly. The song sounds pretty chill and its pretty relaxing and fitting for someone like Uta/Ado who's perfectly capable of doing different types of music be it high energy or something more chill yet still upbeat to it.
Overall this was another really great song from the anime
...
and even if you're cba bout one piece like i am you can still enjoy the music thats here in the anime.

So this is another one of the songs from Uta who's performed by Ado in One Piece Red and this appears right round when Tot Musica the harbinger of destruction who's really behind the events of the film happeneing in the first place.
The song has runic chants in it which is pretty interesting and vocal delivery wise, Ado as always does a pretty solid job conveying her emotions while performing any of her music and you can easily feel the angst in it sending chills right up the spine.
The artstyle and animation for it is epic as always and the dark visual style suits
...
the seriousness of when Tot Musica appears and more so on Ado's own personal style of music too.
So overall, this is defiently one of the best highlights for the movie and Ado has really made a solid debut for the realm of the anime and hopefully she gets the chance to be in more anime soon.

So Scuro is about an assassin who wants to get out of the life he's in but it isn't going to be easy as there are other assasassins who want to go after him and he must fend them off to survive and escape the life of killing that he was int.
The artstyle and gothic aesthetics were certainly appealing and interesting to the story and the characters were decent enough to look at and i liked the broody gothic atmosphere to it to and also the action was generally ok too and my biggest gripe is yeah its short and if it was longer
...
than i can imagine alot of potential for it and overall its a decent story if you want to pass the time with.

The anime is an adaptation of the Final Fantasy video game series. There are many themes borrowed from the games from the power of crystals, heroic struggles, and self sacrifice. While the concept was good and the stories were interesting, the overall work lacked the execution necessary to do justice to the Final Fantasy franchise. The anime sets up its own story and lore like many Final Fantasy games. It is self-contained so it is not necessary to play the games beforehand to follow the adaptation.
Overall story is very cheesy and lighthearted and not in a good way. The themes from
...
the games were underutilized and minimally explored. It seems as if the serious nature of the concepts were deliberately toned down in order to cater to a younger audience and this was a bit disappointing.
In the anime version, 12 year old twins Ai and Yu Hayaka go searching for their missing parents who along with their scientists colleagues, were attacked by unknown assailants. They board a train that leads them into a bizarre world called Wonderland. In this strange place, everything seems out of order. Normal rules do not apply here, as you can steal from anything from anyone without any consequences. During their search for their parents, they meet up with many other inhabitants of Wonderland and learn about a massive threat that will come.
The musical score is decent and fitting for the anime. The art style and character models were serviceable without being memorable while the creature designs for the Chocobo, Moogle and Cactuar looks generally like the games. The animation looks dated and appears sluggish and stiff at times. It seems recycled in every episode. Even the plot is recycled and follows the same formula in every episode. Most of the episodes are just filler and padding and the twins are not really focused on finding their lost parents.
The villains are unstoppable as they appear in the episodes one after the other even though they were supposed to be defeated in the previous one. The villains are based off Alice In Wonderland characters like the Queen of Hearts. In the anime, they are known as the four lords of Guardum. The main villain was really no different to Ciel Phantomhive in Black Butler which was another Square Enix produced anime. The villains in general are evil for the sake of being evil which is a massive contrast to many of the Final Fantasy series villains from Kefka, Arydn and Sephroth.
The pacing was uneven as some scenes can move way to fast or drag out for a while. The voice acting was also really terrible with Ai’s voice being grating and irritating due to how high pitched it is. The voice of Kaze’s tries way too hard to imitate the more serious and brooding characters of the games like Squall Leonhart, Vincent Valentine and others. The script and dialogue were also poor and the humor was kind of cheesy and not very funny. They balanced it out with its serious moments this focuses heavily on humor to the point it can get really annoying and stale fast.
There really is not that much in terms of character development. The kids and the characters often make dangerous and ridiculous decisions and then run away instead of facing problems head on and finding some solutions.
Ai Hayaka can be very bratty and whiny and her curiosity, while common for a child, sets off disastrous events which put everyone in danger. Her brother Yu is supposedly meant to be the mature one but he can be just as fearful and runs away from situations like his sister. Their relationship was not really different from Yuri and Chelinka’s in Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Rings Of Fate and they also are not that different from them in terms of character. They just run around trying to dodge enemy attacks, hide then run away until Kaze randomly shows up out of nowhere to diffuse the situation.
Lisa Pacfist can be naïve and ditzy. As the guardian of the twins, she does whatever she can to keep them safe, but she ends up running like the kids from time to time. She really has no purpose in the story as her true goals are not exactly clear. Lisa appears have her own agenda and she is not honest about who she is. Her powers are very weak and her barrier powers can hardly hold up from the more powerful attacks.
The action was underwhelming and all it takes for a monster to be defeated is for Kaze to use his summons and that’s just about it. Enemies are easily dispatched and they do not pose much of a threat. Kaze was really a carbon copy of the dark and brooding characters Tetsuya Nomura creates for his works. Many characters and stories were not properly developed and their personalities felt hollow. Many of the concepts and lore of this show was either half explained or just left unexplained leaving the viewer in the dark. Kaze has a mysterious past and something seems to drive him for vengeance but it is never really elaborated. Nothing is known about Lisa Pacifist and her organization C2, who they are and what their objectives are. The ending was abrupt leaving many loose ends.
One of the reasons this anime was cancelled was allegedly due to how Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within flopped critically and financially. There were supposed to be 50 episodes and eventually, an audio cd drama and a manga were released to help explain some of the storylines for this adaptation.
With lame dialogue and poor voice actors, recycled villains and senseless storylines, this anime adaptation did little justice to a storied franchise. It felt more like an entirely separate show rather than an anime based off the Final Fantasy franchise.

This is the anime adaptation of the video game series Devil May Cry.
It takes place between the events of the first game and the fourth game and it is part of the original series of the game and not part of the reboot DMC timeline as well.
The voice actor for the original video games and not the reboot Reuben Langdon returns to play as Dante once again and he does an excellent job voicing him. And the voice acting for the other characters like Trish and Lady do sound a lot like the original voice actors in the video games.
...
The voice acting for demons as well sounds threatening and scary.
I’ll start off with the story. It uses an overarching story that forms up to one big event in the later episodes of the series. Much of the earlier episodes of show it takes place in a self-contained procedural format showing Dante not taking on world ending contracts like the ones he usually does in the game and glimpses of his daily life outside of demeon hunting. Some of the story episodes did had interesting ideas like Dante being in a street race with a leader of the biker gang in order to hunt down this mysterious biker demon.
Some of the other story ideas for episodes were pretty cliched as well. My least favorite one was this Romeo And Juliet storyline where a demon and a woman fall in love much to the disappointment to her father. Other times there was loose threads that were not resolved in the show.
But the final episodes of the series is when the show starts to pick up the pace as it focuses on a world ending threat and one episode where Dante is going up against two demon brothers who were the apprentices of Sparda Dante’s demonic father. And that is when the threat level starts to rise up as well. Which sets off the events for the final episodes of the story where things get to be more interesting.
The story is a mixed bag to say the least. As it focuses more on Dante being in multiple action scenes. While the action scenes are good and very fast paced. But Dante is pretty overpowered and it doesn’t take much hits for the demon to die unlike in the video games.
The characters other than Dante,Trish and Lady are also one sided and shallow. For example, Patty in this show is a spoiled brat who hardly has any relevance to the plot and is background character most of the time.
And the main bad guy of the show Sid. He is pretty much just another ambitious power-hungry manipulative villain you could see in any other form of entertainment. And he is not as threatening as a villain like Vergil,Arkham or Mundus in the video games. Trish and Lady even though they are major characters in the series they are hardly utilized in the show and Patty would often take up most of the time instead of them. The character chemistry between Dante and Patty is apathetic you wouldn't really care if her or another character besides Lady,Trish or Dante were to be killed. In addition they both treat each other like crap and bicker much of the time and its pretty distracting as well from the main plot.
The show like in the original video games does have pretty funny moments in it as well. And Dante always comes up with funny remarks to mock any demon he is fighting no matter how powerful he is. And Dante is still a really likable character and he is highly talented in any of the aspects he could do in the show such as riding a motorbike or slaying demons.
The action scenes in the show whenever Dante is fighting a Demon is pretty good. Each demon does have their own strategy and their own powers to further their own selfish goals. Dante whenever he fights is pretty cool. But as I mentioned he can be overpowered at times and the demons even though they do look really threatening. They can be taken down within a few hits without any trouble for the most part.
The art style of the show is faithful to the games. It looks dark and the Gothic ambiance and design is still there. And it does give off a horror styled feel to the show as well. The background designs look nicely made.
Dante,Trish and Lady do look pretty good in an anime format. Some of the other characters as well look typical anime characters and they didn’t really stood out to the show as well.
The animation is pretty smooth and fluid and it also reminds me of Hellsing Ultimate as well considering that both Hellsing ultimate and Devil May Cry were both animated by Madhouse studios.
There was pretty good camera angles and close ups during the show especially in the action scenes.
The music is similar to the original video games. Such as a fast-paced energetic rock track. It does sound good but much of the soundtrack often sounds like different variants of the opening theme of the show. I did found the audio as well to be really high quality and the sound effects were alot like the video game.
It still is overall a decent anime despite its many shortcomings.

Future Diary is a well known anime adaptation of the manga of the same name. This series is what popularized the very infamous yandere trope where a psychotic (usually female) character goes extremely violent to get a partner or to protect their partner. It is also well known for its use of Greek Mythology.
The show focuses on Yukiretu Amano, a student who spends his days writing on a special diary on his phone and speaking to his supposedly imaginary friends Deus Ex Machina and Murmur. Deus Ex Machina grants Yukiretu a special gift that allows him to know the future and to change
...
it. Yukiretu uses the gift to avoid trouble and prevent unpleasant issues to develop. It turns out he’s not the only one who has a special diary on his phone. One of his classmates, Yuno Gasai, has a special diary called the Lovers Diary and its function is to see how the relationship between her and Yukiretu develops.
When Yukiretu inadvertedly learns that one of the diary holders who is in his school is out to kill him, he reluctantly works with Yuno to stop the would be killer. Yukiretu is later forced into a situation where all the other diary holders have to be eliminated in order to win a contest to replace Deus Ex Machina as the god of space and time. Each phone diary enables the owner to change the future but if the phone is destroyed, the user dies.
The show can be very slow at times with not much happening and there is plenty fillers in the series. Many of the episodes are pretty formulaic; Yuki and Yuno fight other diary holders, diary holder has their traumatic past revealed and they die and Yuki and Yuno wins and that’s about it. The comedic parts are repetitive and lame. In fact, the shonen humor really did not fit in with the seinen nature of the show.
The most notable character and the reason why the show is notorious is Yuno Gasai. Yuno Gasai is heavily inspired by Freddy Kruger, she goes above and beyond with her love and dedication to Yukireitu. She doesn’t want him having any friends or she will literally kill them just so that he could focus only on her. Her overly dedication to him however ironically, leads him to greater danger.
Yuno seems the perfect girl, she is cheerful, smart, loyal and kind and very popular in school.
Yukiretu Amano is not a likeable character as he can be egotistical, petty and manipulative. He complained a lot and avoided doing much to help his friends out. He also has very static character development throughout the show. The only character I liked was Aru Akise, an aspiring detective who uses the Detective Diary that helps him figure out the moves of his targets to solve mysteries. He's always one step ahead of others and can easily improvise on a whim. He does not have much screen time which was a shame as he was really the best and most interesting character in the shoe. Most of all the other diary holders had basically the same motive, become a god and takeover the universe.
The voice acting was a bit inconsistent and combined with the cheesy dialogue was really annoying. The script is so ridiculous, basically nobody cares about the consequences of their actions and consequently make really stupid decisions. The art style was ok and the character designs, apart from Yuno Gasai were not memorable. Yuno has some really good weapon skills and its very bloody and the bodycount of the show is very high. The action is short as Yuno easily overmatches her enemies.
Some parts of the story were not fully established and there was many plot holes scattered across the story. The plot twists were predictable. Adding in alternate dimensions and time traveling made the story even more convoluted and confusing. It is never explained why Deus Machina chose the contestants to take part in the contest. The fanservice really didn’t fit in well especially with the story having such a gory nature. The musical score was really spot on and so was the opening and ending animations. The animation was ok but nothing to special, and some CGI was used but the results were not impressive.
Overall, Future Diary is not very good and the only reason why it is so famous is because of Yuno Gasai.

Alice In Murderland is a manga by Kaori Yuki and its based on Alice In Wonderland but, with a play or die type twist to it.
It focuses on Stella Kuonji one of 9 adopted siblings who is placed in a death game to survive and last one survives gets the family fortune straightforward enough concept. Also the guests they invite are used as collateral to get them to take part in the challenge. Bloody Alice, is Stella’s blood thirsty counterpart that only appears when fighting other challengers.
Players can also, aside from wealth and power can have their own lovers of their choice should
...
they win.
The other kids as well also have their own double sided personalities as well too that can be just as vicious as Stella’s own as a result of the mind altering tea they were given by the parents.
The parents in the manga are pretty horrifying and it does a good job showing scary they can be.
The story is a mix of fairy tale elements as well as Japanese mythos as well too. Also since it’s a death game styled story the pacing is going to be pretty hectic and also, the action as well was pretty frentic as well too.
Kuonji you can say is almost like the white rabbit in the original Alice books since they help guide the respective characters in the weird scenario that they are in.
Characters aren’t going to be easy to like either since lot of them can be downright vicious.
Early on the story it doesn’t show much but as time goes by things will start to pick up the pace and you’ll find out more on whats going on. Character development especially early on is pretty lacking in that department.
The art is pretty solid as always from Kaori Yuki.
The atmosphere is pretty tense and dark as well too. Like in Die and Angel Sanctuary, there’s also elements of incest in it as well too so keep this in mind before you do consider reading. Zemo and Alice even though they are adopted yeah the incest thing still is there and it ain’t meant for everyone.
It’s a fairly long read as well too.
Overall it was a pretty decent dark fantasy manga.

Dead Leaves is the directorial debut for Hiroyuki Imaishi who previously worked as an animator and a manga creator. He also directed Kill La Kill and FCFL. Dead Leaves is a story about two people: Pandy and Retro. They wake up naked in separate escape pods with no recollection of their past but with super natural abilities and powers.
Pandy and Retro embark on a massive crime spree across earth causing chaos everywhere they go. Eventually this lands them into the lunar prison called “Dead Leaves”. Dead Leaves prison holds a dark secret. The warden is conducting illegal and secret experiments on humans with
...
special powers. The warden and his team then sell their mutated creations on the black market. Pandy and Retro realise that they have to escape from the prison along with the rest of the convicts. Pandy and Retro along with the other inmates not only have to escape but to stop the black market trading scheme and kill everyone involved in it.
Pandy is the calm and collective woman. She is more level headed and smarter than her partner but is very dangerous and destructive. A notable aspect her appearance is a red circular dot on her eye that appears to be affecting her hence why she is called “Pandy”
Retro is extremely impulsive, ultra-violent and psychotic. He causes a lot chaos and many people die around him either directly or indirectly as a result of his actions. He has a tv for his head that appears to be also used as a digital map and hence why he is called “Retro”. The chemistry and dynamics between the two main characters are hilarious and interesting.
The main theme of this film is about being a rebel and outsider of society and also human experimentation. Nihilism is quite common as nobody really cares at all about anything that’s happening. Even the most extreme action or tragedy seems commonplace and hardly causes a ripple. Even though the themes in the film are dark, they are handled in a way that is comical and surreal.
The film is very unpredictable as everyone is basically a target to be killed. Frequent plot twists and turns make things even more hectic and unbelievable but surprisingly, it works for Dead Leaves. The atmosphere of the film is strange and psychedelic and the more a viewer watches it, the weirder the story gets. The films pacing is very fast and the it starts straight to the point. There is no room for filler or fluff and it never really slows down as it progresses.
The animation and comic book like visuals for the Dead Leaves is the biggest highlight along with its edgy art direction. For a film in 2004, Production I.G made it very smooth and the coloring scheme is vibrant and bright. Production I.G uses a variety of contrasting and striking colors to give a graffiti like art style to make movie stand out. It is very creative and even today, the animation looks incredible and flawless.
I found the character designs to be quirky and strange but it works and its very creative. I also liked the world design of Earth and the lunar prison Dead Leaves. It is very similar to the designs of The World Ends With You or Jet Set Radio video games. The movie scenes transition without any problems and look slick. The frenetic pace of the action works very well for the film. The cinematography Is also stylized to make it look like a manga comic book.
The black comedy went itself well with the acidic nature of the film. Jokes are often dirty minded and innuendos are placed throughout the film. One character is based off a Penis and his head often ejaculates every few seconds. One of the notable supporting characters Chinko has a drill for a penis, and being sodomized is sort of a reoccurring joke in the film. Other jokes in the film are deadly slapstick with people in the film dying in unusual and over the top ways. Sex and nudity occur in the film occasionally. Dialogue in the films is just as weird and quirky as itself.
The action scenes are fast paced and violence is stylized and over the top. Chase scenes are unbelievable and unpredictable. At one point, Pandy and Retro are chased by cops and suddenly a robot shows up out of nowhere to stop them. Blood and bullets are all over the place illustrating just how extremely violent and fast the movie is. Sometimes comic book like “pow” and “bang” special visual effects appears during the action scenes.
The audio quality is superior and sound and clear and crisp. Music is acidic and trippy and very frenetic. The voice acting is suitable for the characters.
Dead Leaves also has its own confusing flaws but I am not going to rate it down because of the dirty humor or the graphic content of the film. The story is stylized and edgy instead of deep and complex. Character development or any real goal of the story is non existent . The movie does not take itself too seriously and some viewers will be very perplexed by what is even happening as at times. With its very fast pacing and with so many things happening, the movie can be pretty confusing.
Some of the stuff does feel left out or unexplained such as who Pandy and Retro really are? Along with how can having sex while being tied up from top to bottom can lead to them breaking free. The doctor who is locked up with Pandy and Retro knows a lot but never explains how he knows about the events that happened previously. In addition, characters are not developed for the viewer to care about them. But nevertheless, you still root for Pandy and Retro trying to get out of the prison and stopping the warden’s illegal black market business.
The film is fairly short, about 52 minutes and the ending is abrupt and it feels like a cliffhanger. A warning for those who have a history with seizures. This film is very flashy and lights blinker a lot so you may experience some distress when watching this movie. For such a bizarre yet entertaining film I had one strange time watching it but really like it nonetheless.
