I'm still surprised at how good this manga actually is, I started reading it without any expectation, believing it would be the umpteenth trashy isekai story. what I found instead is a gold nugget. the gags and jokes are actually funny and do not feel overused. The fantasy world so far is not the usual unoriginal isekai world filled with goblins, slimes, horned rabbits and other common troupes. The author has been able to put his personal touch in this genre so popular and overused by creating new monsters, deities and giving funny quirks even to the so common elves. little details and introspections that come out from time to time during the journey, they sound logic and are often not even considered in other shows, for example, right from the start the Mc realizes that since they where in a completely foreign world, even the water of the river could actually be different from our water, thus it could be lethal for them and is better to avoid drinking it until they find out more information, despite the river looking just like a regular river in a forest where many isekai protagonists would probably already be swimming in it.
Overall I greatly advise giving this manga a try and to not be put off by the genderswap tag, the comedy was on point, the story looks promising, the characters do not have the personality of cardboard cutouts but actually have some depths and the isekai tag is not something placed in there just to get more readers.
