This has more of that feeling Drama Queen evokes, morbid actions and emotions played straight without leaning into a more overtly edgy method of story telling.
Emotional story telling seems to be a strong suit of Ichikawa’s, the amount of information gleaned from the change in the character’s facial expressions is incredible, some of the best expression work I’ve seen recently.
Art style is fun to look at, character expressions are top notch, and the girls are cute. My goodness are they cute. I can only hope the author will continue to draw women blushing. Nearly every expression in this is worthy of screenshotting and passing
