I've watched a lot of Isekai and this is a solid recommend. It was really easy to binge on this series and I'm looking forward to the next one. I would rate the majority of the series at a moderate 7/10. The last two episodes push this to 8/10 making it the best Isekai in recent memory.

Preliminary (5/12 eps)
I enjoyed the premise of a world where heroes are no longer needed. A world hit by recession and ex-heroes and demons have to face the economic realities of a post-war fantasy world. I really enjoyed the worldbuilding where modern (magical) appliances have a finite amount of storage and must be recharged each day. Even the Ecchi scenes were tastefully executed.

I cannot recommend for the following reasons:

Angel Beats! (Anime) add
Don't go into this with high expectations. As quite a few reviewers will tell you it is overhyped. If you are looking to get on the feels train I recommend 'Haibane Renmei'. It executes the 'purgatory' genre more maturely and takes a deeper dive into human nature.

Angel beats got me to tears in episode 9 and 13 in two instances but the heartstring tugging felt forced too often than not. I'll try and explain the critical flaw in its story structure.
