This review is by someone that's only watched the anime.
Where do I even begin, from an anime standpoint this is honestly something you'd consider a masterpiece. The medical terms and just the basic setup on how all of that works is mediocre and somewhat lackluster, but the general feel of everything revolving the scenario makes up for it all.
The scenerey and world as a whole is amazingly well done and it catches emotions perfectly. Get into it with the aspect of truly enjoying the emotional ride and not for it to be perfectly accurate as an medical story and you'll absolutely love this.
