Bakuman and Deathnote are series that have been made by the same author and same artist, and if you've read either of these works you'll notice similarities when reading the other one of the two. The art style is for instance very similair, but the way the story draws the reader in, to read more and more is also very similair in both of these manga, despite having a completly different plot. Even the excentric antagonist, who are at the same time also kind of part of the protagonists in both of these works, have this same feel to them.
