Low bar but this show definitely isn't as trashy as it looks. Watched it as a teen and just watched it again as an adult to see if it was as raunchy as I remembered (it is not lol).
Pros-
Female lead with an actual personality at odds with societal expectations but who's totally worth rooting for. In terms of ecchi anime shes definitely a more interesting character.
It promotes healthy sexual and romantic exploration with partners. The shows ostensibly about how comedically horny the lead is actually secretly about how young people should navigate both sex and love with other young people.
This show actually shows tits! Wow!

Animation: Not sure if im really educated enough on animation to describe whats wrong but theres something just off or maybe cheap about it. Characters seem to just move flatly around the screen or repeat frames. It gave me big saturday morning cartoon vibes, not what really what youd expect even from bog/industry standard anime. It has some good points too but if its gonna be inconsistent Id rather just not be distracted by it at all.
Art style: Similar inconsistency, theres parts where im surprised how nice the characters or certain scenes look with lots of vibrant color and subtle details and then others where ...

Giving this a 6 and a recommended because I'm pretty tough on even anime I like but think this series is still something worth watching for most anime viewers.
The strength of this series often lies in its worldbuilding and plot; there can be some really great action moments and the animation and art are done well but I don't remember myself thinking about that as much this season. This is more exposition and intrigue heavy than the first or second seasons, and also presents a lot less urgency or threat. For that reason the second half of the season really starts to feel a ...

Fable is one of the greats in adult animation. Every episode is of consistent quality and there's a perfect balance over the season between plot/dialogue and the action youd expect from a story about a hired killer. Its also very funny which I wasnt expecting and the humor reads as a bit western to me (not really like a gag manga or trope-y).
