Every development is cliché and there is little to no suspense at all if you've read at least one other recent romance manga. Then, why is it still a good read ? First, the art's quality is really good, second, even if it's cliché, it's still wholesome, and lastly, I really like the characters, which are quite well written, even the supporting ones.
Truth be told, even when everything is predictable, it's the likability of the characters which makes a romance story a good one. And in this aspect, Blue Box is really good.
