This is one of the better Villainess shows around. Both Alicia Williams (the Villainess) and Liz Cather (the Heroine) really draw you into the story. What stands out the most is how much character development both of these characters get. It’s great to see them grow over the course of the show. The side characters are also interesting, with some, like Jill, getting their own development. The pacing is steady, the humor lands well, and even though the art style is pretty average, it still works for the show.

However, there’s one big issue: Duke Seeker (the Prince) doesn’t get much development. From the beginning, he’s ...

The second season of "As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I'll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World" has its highs and lows. While it carries over the charm of the first season, Ars Louvent's development stalls for much of the series. His growth in the final episodes helps redeem the season but still feels rushed compared to the buildup of the first season.

One major issue is the battle strategy, which often feels unrealistic. Armored soldiers are easily taken down by arrows, and hundreds of soldiers suddenly appear from a thin forest to ambush the enemy. These unrealistic portrayals of combat detract from the story’s ...

"The Healer Who Was Banished From His Party, Is, in Fact, the Strongest" starts off promising but quickly derails, becoming a trainwreck by the final episodes. While the character designs are average yet charming and the art style passable, poor pacing and storytelling make the show feel rushed and unsatisfying.

Laust, despite being labeled the strongest, feels like an afterthought. He barely contributes meaningfully to the story, only acting when Narusena is in danger. His lack of development and relevance makes his role feel forced.

The show tries to cram in every anime cliché, often rushing through the plot without coherence. Animation quality dips drastically in the ...

Noel Stollen is not your usual anime protagonist, and "The Most Notorious 'Talker' Runs the World's Greatest Clan" is not your average edgy anime. Noel’s strength lies in his cunning and charisma rather than brute force. He’s ambitious, calculating, and knows how to lead a team. Noel doesn’t fight directly; instead, he uses strategy and manipulates others to achieve his goals.

Unlike typical shows that rely on battles alone, this series emphasizes manipulation, alliances, and tactical planning, making it a refreshing take.

This show is edge done right. Most of the characters are compelling in their own way. While 12 episodes weren’t enough for everyone to fully ...

This sequel had a rough start. The first two episodes felt more like a remake than a continuation, leaving viewers confused. Additionally, the shift in art style between seasons is jarring, especially for the female characters. In Season 1, they appeared more mature and curvaceous, but Season 2 drastically changes this. Mikan, the busty swordswoman traveling with Yukikaze, is a prime example of this disappointing redesign.

The rest of the season isn’t all bad. The story progresses at a similar pace to Season 1, though the pacing stumbles at times. One episode spends too much time on a lewd back-and-forth between Beatrice and her advisor, Kongming. ...

This is an average show with a typical premise. The story centers around Haruka, who finds himself in another world along with the rest of his classmates. Haruka is a loner, and he remains dedicated to being one in this new world as well. To the show's credit, Haruka is consistent in maintaining this resolve.

There are a lot of girls in Haruka's class. Normally, everyone starts falling for the main character, and it ends up as a harem, but Haruka is not interested in anything other than his loner life. However, stuff happens, and he begins traveling with the rest of them. That's where one ...

Gekai Elise (Anime) add
Mixed Feelings
Doctor Elise: The Royal Lady with the Lamp starts off decently with a slightly unique premise. Elise, born in a fantasy world, dies, is reborn on Earth, and later returns to her original life in the fantasy world.

However, the show stumbles with logical inconsistencies. Elise’s world is shown to have inferior medical knowledge, yet they possess all sorts of modern surgical tools and implements like X-rays, labs, and guns, while lacking cars and using horse-drawn carriages.

While there are moments of character growth, especially between Elise and Yulian, most characters remain underdeveloped. Prince Mikhail gets no development, and there’s no progression in Elise’s relationships, romantic or ...

Tearmoon Empire surprised me in a few ways but was mostly predictable.

Mia Luna Tearmoon, the main character, was a selfish princess in her past life. She gets a second chance and is determined not to make the same mistakes.

Mia isn’t very smart, but she often ends up doing great things because others misinterpret her actions.

Prince Abel Renmo was a surprising character. I didn’t expect him to become so important.

The show mixed serious and funny moments well, but the last three episodes were a big letdown. They ruined the story flow, things moved too quickly, and Mia acted really dumb, even more than usual.

The character designs ...
