Let me start by saying my opinion is of someone who has only ever seen the anime. I do not enjoy revealing or being subjected to spoilers, so I will try my best to stray from them.
Now, with that out of the way, this second season simply...sucked. I loved the first season enough to give it a 10, and it held such a special place in my heart. The construction of the episodes, the tension, the atmosphere—I can keep listing all the positives of the 1st season. It laid the foundation for something that was both promising and quite interesting, especially for a horror

This anime, or rather this story, is simply an art piece. It's told as such, it's shown as such, it's supposed to be experienced as one, it cries and bleeds as such. It's meant to be art, it's meant to be complicated, its meant to cause all kinds of mixed feelings and emotions, so keep that in mind.
The theme of "Requiem of the rose king" is what caught my attention initially. Won't lie - was deeply intrigued by what would happen next, how a person of such nature would survive in the given world/era, presented in the anime. Richard is very different from most ... Jan 26, 2022

I found the manga as casually as I would any other. Another piece of work from the same author caught my eye and peaked my curiosity. I followed the trail, as I always would. The manga, however, proved to not be even close to enough. I needed the original source, I fell for the story so fast and so deep I HAD to read the light novel. This, mind you, was my very first time reading a light novel. I couldn't drop it and read as much as I could, finishing it in the span of two days. I cried my eyes out countless of

I feel like it's my duty to write a review on this anime, since I'm a huge fan of the manga.
Ever since I heard we were getting an anime adaptation, I was both hyped and very afraid, because it can always go both ways and I didn't want to see something I hold so dear be destroyed. Thankfully, that wasn't the case and I ended up enjoying the anime quite a lot. A lot of details, of course, will remain in the manga alone, since they will need to make at least a 12 episode anime to cover everything, but they actually managed to find ... Sep 6, 2020
Ugh, what can I say about this anime...I had just finished watching Blood+ when I started this one, in hopes to continue the story, but in a better way than it was executed previously. Needless to say, I had high hopes and that's never a good idea. I was at the verge of dropping the anime with every single slow and boring episode, but something kept me going 'till I finished it in record time. Here are my overall thoughts:
Main character - Horrible. Pacing of the anime - Slow and boring, which actually had an upside as well, since my whole attention was on the ... Jul 7, 2020

Let me start by saying that this is my second time watching the movie. I watched it a few years back with a friend, and I'm not quite sure why, but at the end I felt like there were a ton of plot holes and I didn't quite enjoy it. Also didn't understand what all the hype was about. I thought back and decided it's time to give it a second chance, and I am so happy I did. Now that I knew the core of the story, my goal was to follow the details, so this time I can have a better grasp of

Let me start by saying it took me a week to finish this, or more like make myself finish it. There were some details and scenes I liked, but most of the time I simply wasn't invested enough in the story to actually care.
I don't claim it's bad, because it actually isn't.But it's not that good either. It's more of a 50/50 watch. You either like it, or you don't. Compared to some anime titles I've wasted my time on and regret ever touching, this was actually a fair watch. The soundtrack is definitely something you wouldn't want to miss out on. Jun 21, 2020

Warning: May contain some spoilers.
The idea for the anime was actually good. The execution of said idea - not so good. 3D animation was surprisingly great, but stiff when it comes to character emotions and movement when put in a situation outside of a battle. Enemies were way too easy to defeat. I absolutely hate it when initially strong enemies suddenly turn into an useless existence, whose main purpose is to make the "good guys" stand out and polish their hero image. I don't think some creators understand the importance of a good "bad guy" image, which was missing here entirely. Another disappointment was the ... Jun 9, 2020

I've never thought a day would come when I would rate a Ghibli movie with such a low score. What happened here? What actually happened?? I was waiting an hour and 12 minutes for one huge nothing. It actually got a good start with the interesting friendship that formed between the two male leads. It actually had a bit of a potential, and that died not long after. Their friendship played a next to zero role in this huge disaster.
Now, about the female lead. Oh, how horrible the female lead was. There was nothing, and I mean NOTHING likeable about her. Everything she did ... May 2, 2020
I never thought the day would come for me to write a review on a hentai :D
I'm pretty tired of the average hentai titles, which are beyond idiotic and their only purpose is to sell s3x.So, its no surprise I actually thought this one was at the very least decent. It shows the true face of humans and their despicable nature. It makes you question whether this will ever end, or if there will be punishment for those responsible. Sorry to disappoint, but such a thing doesn't happen (or does it? :P). What would you expect from the title "Bad End" anyway? In ... |
