I personally love the concept of discovering something you love and truly being passionate about it. This show is exactly that.
Story:
Good story, I love seeing characters strive to become better. The idea pf animating something like quiz bowl is definitely unique. There are certain stories are not concluded which I find annoying. 7/10
Character:
KOSHIYAMA: An intersting character, like i said I love seeing pasionate characters so I really liked him
FUKAMI: Honestly I didn't care much for her. She was really only there for the main female character appeal and her brother's backstory
SASAJIMA: Calm cool and collected, there could be more back story to him
MIKURIYA: His rivalry
...
with Koshiyama was interesting but he's literally just another kid who likes quiz bowl, there could be some expansion on his character
6/10
Art:
I liked the character design and everyone is distinguishable. There are a few parts where the art is not so amazing but I can overlook that. 7/10
Sound:
Loveee the OP and ED! So catchy! Voice acting was good except for Fukami. Her voice actor isn't necessarily bad but her voice doesn't give a young high school student vibe like it should. 7/10
Other stuff:
The subtitles kind of ruin the curiosity of wondering when they will press their button. It would be interesting to see this dubbed.

Roommate was one of those guilty pleasure shows for me. Well okay, I don’t exactly like it but I don’t exactly hate it either!
First we start with the story, “you” are going to be living with 3 boys as the manager of the place they live. The story is all about how these characters interact with you and soon fall in love with you. With this anime being geared to a female audience that sounds about right. I see nothing wrong with the story and for 4 minutes per episode you really can’t expect anything more.
Now let's talk about characters, each character
...
has their own personality and hobbies. In character design and personality the characters follow the normal character tropes but they also added in character specific hobbies. Acting, climbing and gaming. These hobbies seemed out of nowhere because they couldn’t develop why the characters are so passionate about what they do. When they tried to explain Takumi’s climbing hobby, he just says it’s relaxing so it doesn’t really make sense as so why climbing (probably just used it as an excuse to show Takumi shirtless and sweating meh)
Character design: you would think that these boys would be more attractive?? If I want an anime to put me in the shoes of a main character I want the guys that fall in love with me to be a super attractive bishi. Of course it’s the inside that matters but it’s an anime trying to fulfill girl’s dreams of hot guys falling for them in a super romantic way! Takumi especially because he looks really good on the anime cover but terrible in the show.
There is nudity in every ED of the show (with a really catchy song), which includes erasing clothes and all that stuff but it’s always above waist. I don’t speak from research or anything but I am am a girl and at least for me I don’t think girls get as excited about nudity than males when seeing butts and boobs. That’s just me but that’s what I expect most of the female population to feel because I don’t want to generalize. I don’t mind the nudity but I can go without it.
Other stuff: I don’t know much about voice acting so I don’t really want to comment on that but It sounded pretty fine to me. Also, The show has a cute logo and title screen, I just really wanted to say that xD
Overall: 5/10
I pointed out so many flaws with this show which kinda confuses me on why I don’t absolutely hate it. Despite all of it’s flaws It is actually to some extent enjoyable and because of that I don’t see the flaws as something that I need to give a lower score for, but rather the anime could have really improved if they did these things. I wouldn’t go to the extent of calling it a bad show which is why I give it a 5 out of 10 (average)

This episode was made because every anime has to have some kind of fan service right? You know something is pretty bad when I have more to review about this one episode than I did for the original show.
Story:
Yep, bath house scene, very original. Completely cut out that first bit and you have a regular but shortened Danchigai episode, which is what I was expecting. This would have gotten a 1 but the 2nd half redeemed the episode even if it is just a little bit because it was at least somewhat closer to the original show.
Character:
Haruki had no interest in his
...
sisters but now he suddenly wants to see them naked? I found it refreshing that Haruki knew his boundaries as a sibling but this completely threw that thought out the window.
Sound and Art:
It's the same as the original episodes. 7/10 for both.
Overall:
It's not that I dislike fan service, because in my time of watching anime I've seen quite a few bath house/hot springs episodes that didn't bother me at all. But rather it was fact that this completely strayed away from what this show originally was. 2/10

Danchigai is the perfect anime for a quick watch when you have a few minutes to spare. The characters are likeable and fun. Seeing this family go through their day to day lives is pretty enjoyable and it’s actually very nice to see that although Haruki is the only boy in the family and his sisters are constantly creating an awkward sexual tension between them, he knows his boundaries rather than the incest route other animes have. The art was nice with cute character design. For sound the voice acting was good but I wasn't a fan of the ending song. This show also has
...
some good funny moments. Overall, Danchigai was a fun watch well worth 42 minutes.

Boku no hero is a fantastic anime about a boy Izuku Midoriya's or "Deku" goal to become a superhero although he is quirkless (meaning he doesn't have a superpower) and his told he can't do it.
STORY:
I felt invested in the story of Deku following his dreams to become a hero although for his whole life he was told he couldn't do it.
I have never seen a show so incredibly well paced, from being quirkless to being at the hero academy it never felt like too much or too little in one episode. Although, it would have been nice to have an episode revolving Deku
...
during the entrance exam.
CHARACTERS:
Izuku Midoriya or "Deku":
with a backstory of bullying and being told you can't do something, you just have to be invested in a character like that. Although he does stupid things sometimes, his heart is true and he really just wants to help.
All Might:
I really enjoy All Might's character because he is funny at sometimes (when he deflates his bluff) but seriously cool other times. I can see why Deku looks up to him. He also cares about his students which is nice. :)
Bakugou, Katsuki:
Katsuki's grudge is pretty ridiculous. Being mad at someone for wanting to help you? He's quick to act and thinks he's the best but to the point where someone can't help you just a little bit is a stretch.
Classmates:
there's no backstory to the other classmates but that can be expected, there's no time to develop every single character. But what i really liked is that you can distinguish all of them from one another with their personalities and character design.
ART:
Great art and animation. The character designs are perfect and distinguishable.
SOUND:
great ED and amazing OP! Voice acting was good too :)
OVERALL:
I absolutely love this show. From story, characters, art and sound everything was great! I truly enjoy this show. 10/10 rating

THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS
STORY:
Great plot, the mystery of Misaki and the cursed class keeps you on the edge and interested.
The show keeps a very eerie tone which is great for the horror aspect of the anime, the dolls definitely gave a spooky vibe.
Unfortunately the show was a little confusing because there are two girls named Misaki but I understand it was so Kouichi would think she’s the dead girl.
The show also went down hill when Mei brought up her twin sister, which I believe is a stretch just to make her classmates accuse her.
Maybe Mei could have told Teshigawara or some other classmate
...
that Reiko was the extra person so she would not hurt Kouichi. Despite her efforts she could have easily told someone else and have Reiko be killed,no one would remember and lives would be saved.
I wish we could have known what happened to the other classmates after Reiko died, they all tried to kill each other for goodness sakes. A short monologue explaining what happened afterwards would have been sufficient.
If Reiko knew about the calamity why would she allow her nephew to go to school there in the 1st place? Even though she’s dead, she is still his aunt and it would make sense for her to want the best for him and not put him through the danger.
CHARACTERS:
The characters were good, Mei gave that spooky vibe the creators were going for.
Seeing all of the characters go crazy to try to kill the Another was interesting and definitely reflects how people are affected when their own lives are in danger.
SOUND:
Great OP song! The ED was good but after a super dramatic scene the ED didn’t fit with the tone.
Good voice acting
ART:
Great art and animation!! Very nice character design and some of the death scenes were enough to close my eyes and go “ooooooh”
OVERALL:
Although the show had many flaws I enjoyed it 100%. I believe it was the mystery aspect that kept me going despite the shows imperfections. The 1st part of the series made me want to find out who Mei really is and the 2nd half made me want to know who the Another was. This show is a great watch if you can overlook it’s flaws and just watch for the enjoyment of it. Overall 8/10

Kuzu No Honkai showcases many different realistic aspects of love. This ranges from the struggles of unrequited love, difference between love and lust, and how great and meaningful love is.
STORY:
I love that the story is very unique. It juggles around the relationships of multiple characters, and does it well. Its doesn’t make me think ”omg just get back to Mugi’s and Hana’s relationship already!!(my main ship)” Instead it makes me wonder what will happen between Hana and Sanae, Mugi and Akane etc. It’s actually very realistic, what are the chances of the person you love reciprocating it out of all the people in
...
the world? Especially when that love is not politically correct, a student and a teacher. The intimate scenes are executed well. You really can how that person is feeling, whether it is lust or pain.
CHARACTERS:
All of the characters are original and unique. They all develop in terms of getting over someone or learning how to love. You really get attached to some of them and their relationships.
ART:
The art was GORGEOUS. Animation was great too! :)
I could have gone without the saliva strings lol but it didn’t affect my enjoyment of the show.
SOUND:
Good voice acting. Outstanding music, the OP and ED songs were great!
FINAL THOUGHTS:
This show is outstanding. Unrequited love is painful and this show definitely reflects that. You become invested in the characters and really start to root for their relationships. Overall it is a very good watch that I recommend for mature audiences (obviously, bc it's R+). The show is 9/10 for me!

Usagi drop is an incredibly heartwarming story of a man loving a young girl as if he were her daughter. Raising a kid alone is hard! But Daikichi loves Rin enough to take her in and love her like she is his own child.
STORY:
The background story of Daikichi's grandfather having an illegitimate child is interesting. Since this show is a slice of life there is not much plot to the show, but what I can say is that following Daikichi and Rin going about their lives is so much fun to watch.
CHARACTERS:
There is little development of characters but that's what I expect from a slice
...
of life. Rin and Daikichi's relationship is so sweet and heartwarming. Rin is literally the cutest! She cares for Daikichi and others which I love about her.
ART:
Great art and animation!
SOUNDS:
Good voice acting. I loved the OP and ED songs!! The OP song is now one of my favorite anime OPs!
FINAL THOUGHTS:
This is the kind of show that gives you a warm and fuzzy feeling inside when you watch it. You can see how much Daikichi and Rin love and care for each other which is amazing. This show has rightfully earned it's place as on of my favorite animes. 10/10 for me!

STORY:
The story was good, seeing how Masamune tries to get the girl is enjoyable to watch. Most of the comedy was cringe funny (like how Masamune says weird pick up lines he got from manga, I FELT THE AWKWARDNESS THROUGH THE SCREEN).
I really expect Masamune and Aki to actually fall in love at some point (if there will be a 2nd season, I haven't read the manga) so I'm not paying too much attention that Masamune's whole drive is to break her heart.
The show ended in the middle of an arc which was pretty awkward, it could have at least had a resolution and
...
complete the arc.
CHARACTERS:
Each of the characters are very unique and have lots of detail in their personalities. Some characters are not exactly likable because the cast consists of the narcissist, the men hater, the girl that tries to completely ruins the main characters relationship etc. but they were enjoyable to watch
Little development except for the minimal advancement in the main character’s relationship and *SPOILER* the other girl giving up on Masamune, overall supporting him and Aki *END OF SPOILER*
ART:
Characters were wonderfully designed. Adagaki Aki is definitely eye catching and beautiful. No complaints on art! :)
SOUND:
Voice acting was good. The opening song is now one of my favorite anime songs!
FINAL THOUGHTS:
The show was good, but not great. It made me feel extremely awkward at times but it had a good laugh to it. Overall 7/10

As a teenage girl with a younger brother with about the same age gap as Mirai and Yuuki, I can say that this anime really struck close to home.
STORY:
The story is fantastic. It really makes you appreciate everything you have. Mirai, after wishing everything to be destroyed, realizes throughout the show that she can't wait to see her parents who she claimed she hated so much. There are also many side characters that come in throughout who have interesting stories.
I feel that this show is very realistic to how a real earthquake would be like. This includes the chaos everyone goes through and the realism
...
of death.
CHARACTERS:
Mirai: Mirai goes through great development throughout the show. She went from a bratty teenager to realizing that she should have appreciated her time with her family and everything she has. She becomes very protective of her brother which I absolutely loved because I feel the same way towards mine.
Yuuki: Yuuki is the ray of the sunshine of this show. I absolutely adored his character because he was so upbeat and happy throughout the whole show. You can see how much he cares about his sister and parents.
Mari: I understand that Mirai and Yuuki needed an adult to get them as far as they got. Mari is the perfect person to do so. She is strong and keeps the kids safe when they are in danger risking her own life.
These characters interact perfectly, all of them showing their love and concern for one another which really makes you connect with them.
ART:
The character design is quite simple but this works so they won't draw attention away from the backgrounds. The earthquakes/aftershocks are pretty detailed considering how much the animators would need to draw for a show like this but not outstanding. For the opening I feel that they could have done more than a black and white slideshow of the aftermath of earthquakes, it was quite boring.
SOUND:
The voice acting was good. I liked the opening song but it was forgettable.
FINAL THOUGHTS:
the realism in this show is a good break to the many action/fantasy animes there are out there. I really enjoyed this show and felt a personal connection with the main characters.
