[NO SPOILERS IN THIS REVIEW]
The next film after Your Name, a well appraised film within the anime community. Does Weathering With You live up to the expectations from that film?
Story :6/10
The story was the weakest point of the whole film. As other reviewers have stated, it could be called a copy paste from Your Name. However, it did feel more developed compared to Your Name, as the main mechanic of the film, the weather, was directed very well. There are not much strong points but overall it was an average storyline with enjoyable moments.
Art: 10/10
The artwork and shots of city, the weather, and
...
the people were completely astounding to see. While there are multiple parts that look less animated than others, the main art that were focused on were beautiful and fantastic, like it was eye candy for the viewers. It felt that it was a step up from Your Name's animation, as it felt more refined with the directing and as the weather was the main focus of the film, the rain was a key aspect and it felt alive.
Sound: 10/10
RADWIMPS does it again. The stellar soundtrack for Weathering With You feels like it took inspiration from Your Name and A Silent Voice and combined it to make it very beautiful during soft sceneries and dramatic during rush time. The movie itself has very appropriate moments where sound was muted and heightened.
Characters: 9/10
The main characters were well written, and it was great to see the story progress between them. I personally popped out of my seat when I saw certain characters again. The side characters helped play a role with assisting the main characters progress the storyline. Certain characters felt out of place compared to others, but overall all the characters were important towards the story.
Enjoyment: 9/10
Going to watch this with others made the film more enjoyable that it would normally be. I went into the film not having watched the trailer or anything related to it, so I watched it completely blind. It was a great experience and I would personally rewatch the film when it comes out at a later date.
Overall:8/10
I believe this is an enjoyable film no matter what the ending would have been. It was beautiful to watch the aesthetic scenes and enjoy the soundtrack. I would recommend watching this when possible.

I'm going to be slightly comparing the anime to the visual novel, as I read the visual novel first. (Slight spoilers in this review)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Story 10/10
The story of Steins;Gate is about a mad scientist, Hououin Kyouma, trying to stop the Organization from taking over the world. His delusions, formed by his past, made him to who he is today. No, but seriously, the story is about Okabe Rintaro, a man who will do anything to help others, as he never gives up. Without spoiling, I believe the story is very well done, as the visual novel expanded on the story, but the anime adaption used the
...
most fundamental parts of the story.
Art 9/10
Overall, the art style is very well done. But, the visual novel is much better, as it has more potential compared to the anime. It isn't bad though, it is a solid art style with fluid animations (The cars are in 60fps)
Sound 10/10
Using the soundtrack from the visual novel, the emotions and feelings were brought back to life to the anime. I felt connected and engrossed with the story and characters, so the music, background noise, and everything is amazingly well done.
Character 9/10
This is the strongest category in the visual novel. However, compared to the anime, it felt weaker and lackluster, as the characters aren't really developed heavily later on. However, just from the anime's perspective, it is well done with the interactions of the main character and his friends. We can see the time they spent together created an everlasting bond. I felt with the character development, we could had added more episodes to the anime, and potentially extend on it.
Enjoyment 10/10
After playing the visual novel, it felt like I was re-watching the series. However, there were some scenes that didn't appear in the visual novel, so that peaked my interest from time to time. The adaption was very enjoyable to watch, and I can see why it is one of the best animes of all time.
Overall 10/10
Even though there are still flaws, not everything can be perfect. Steins;Gate has achieved an amazing, mind-boggling story and with the combination of the characters, told a story of friendship, values, ideals, and morals of time. We must understand that not all things last forever, and we should it the time we cherish right now, and not take it for granted.

What happens to our favorite anime characters after school life ends? Well Clannad: After Story tells you what happens. (Some spoilers about Clannad, no after story spoilers)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Story:10/10
The story drastically improves from the first season. It is really moving, and shall catch your attention with almost every episode. We see the future of our main character, Tomoya. There isn't much to say without spoiling about the story, so go watch it for yourself.
Art:9/10
The art is decent, and it catches your attention to detail at some portions. However, the certain scenes in After Story really make it beautiful for the eyes. The regular scenes are on par,
...
and aren't goofy at all.
Sound:10/10
The soundtrack is well made. The music is very powerful, and will draw your emotions out after listening to it after watching After Story. The background music in each episode is amazing. It is well timed and placed at the correct moment, and makes the viewers feel connected to the story.
Character: 10/10
We continue to see the development of Tomoya's character. As life after high school begins, we see the struggles he faces with his life and how he deals with it. We also see the other characters, but the main focus is Tomoya.
Enjoyment: 10/10
I was so hooked to After Story that after almost every episode I was depressed for the rest of the day. It grabs you and pulls you in. This series could be binge watched, but most likely you should slowly watch it at your own pace.
Overall:10/10
I found After Story to be a satisfying conclusion to the series. I was moved at certain moments, and enjoyed each episode.

What if you were useless? Oh wait, you are. (No spoilers/very minor overall look of the anime)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Story: 10/10
The story begins with Subaru (yes, a car), who has a NEET life. He is magically transported to a different world, and this is when the adventure begins. Since Subaru is a regular man in a fantasy world, he has no power but the persuasion of his speech to get him out of situations. Later on, he does acquire powerful assets to help him in his journey. The 1st arc of the story is heavily character developed for the cast, and the 2nd arc is Subaru's quest to
...
get his life under control, and how he himself develops as a character.
Art: 9/10
There were some magical scenes that moved me. I didn't feel this feeling since Clannad or Plastic Memories. Other than the magical scenes, the art is really well done, as it is detailed and enough art is presented each episode, so we don't see a million things on screen.
Sound: 10/10
Re:Zero potentially has the best music in anime ever. The opening gets you hyped, and at the end of the episodes the ending just makes you feel connected to Subaru. The insert songs that they played also just fit right in the episodes. They chose the perfect timing for the minute they start the song. This is the highest 10 I would give out of the others, because the sound fits the show no matter what situation it is.
Character: 10/10
You meet plenty of characters, some are shown for a bit then ignored for a while as well. The main focus of the show is Subaru's personality, and how his perspective on life changes every episode. We also see 2 other characters develop their personality in detail as well, as they express their feelings and ideas to the audience's perspective.
Enjoyment: 10/10
I began watching this show when episode 18 came out. I picked the right time to start watching this, as I couldn't wait for every Sunday after that. I was hyped as the opening plays, and anxious when the ending played. This show is a must binge watch. There is no way you can take this show slowly, as it grabs your attention with every episode.
Overall: 10/10
Re:Zero is my Anime of the Year for 2016, as it had truly the best sound, and made me hyped for this show since episode 18. Here is to hope for season 2!

If you saw a close friend get killed in front of your eyes, what would you do? (No spoilers in review)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Story: 9/10
The story goes that people walled off a large portion of land, and the wall is 50 meters high. The Titans never got in, until a 50m Titan appears and opens the outer wall. Hell breaks loose, and it is utter chaos. I personally enjoyed the story, as it was interesting and fascinating to learn how humans fought, what the titans did, etc.
Art: 9/10
Blood. Lots of blood. The brutality in this anime is very gory. You see dead people everywhere, and in fact
...
see some of them killed in front of your eyes. The setting in each episode is nicely done. The facial expressions of everybody is amazing, as it captures the horrors of war.
Sound: 8/10
The 1st opening really hypes you up for the rest of the show, and the 2nd opening is on par. There is background music when monologue happens, and when a characters persuades someone, there is dramatic music as well. Nothing really blows you away besides the opening.
Character: 10/10
This is where most of the magic happens. You meet people, you learn about their motives, their past, their future, and potentially their downfall. The MC, Eren Jager, has his attitudes and personality change throughout the anime, and it transforms him as a human being. 2 other characters, Mikasa and Armin, are bonded with Eren on his adventure to save humanity. Each character in AoT has an important role, and cannot be replaced.
Enjoyment: 9/10
I enjoyed AoT a good amount. There were some slow backstory episodes that somewhat lost my interest, but the fighting scenes made up for it. The animations when humans use their "devices" are amazing, and I could watch those small scenes for a while.
Overall: 9/10
I would recommend this to people that can handle blood, gore, and want a good story. This anime definitely lived up to the hype, even though I wasn't apart of it.

If you can decide who goes to heaven or hell, can you pass the judgement? (No spoilers in this review)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Story: 10/10
The story is 2 people ending up at a bar, and they have to play a game that decides life or death. This is the basic plot for the entire series, and it does a good job incorporating it with many elements of the people that end up there. That being said, that is the basic plot. The entire plot is spoiler heavy, so I won't discuss it. The story itself is paced perfectly, and allows the viewers to absorb information at a
...
good pace.
Art: 8/10
The art is different from many other animes. The facial features are more human-like, and the setting is unique. The art is well done.
Sound: 9/10
This anime potentially has the best opening for any show. It is very catchy, and the opening sequence shows mostly all the characters that you will see. It also does amazingly well with incorporating the music into certain scenes to make the scene come to life.
Character: 10/10
The anime consists of 2 main characters, the bartender and the black haired woman. They both develop character as the show progresses, and it is done very well. The people that are sent to be judged also have decent backstory, and gives the viewers a chance to understand what they went through, and feel their pain and sorrow.
Enjoyment: 10/10
At first, I watched this for 5 episodes straight, took a week break, and finished it. It was very well paced and I believe it doesn't need a season 2. It kept me hooked and engaged throughout, and the last few episodes stirred my emotions.
Overall: 10/10
I would reccomend this to my friends, and people who enjoy mysteries and thrillers. It was an enjoying ride, and I am satisfied with this show.

Have you ever screwed up your life? Well the ReLife program is here to fix it!
(No spoilers in this review)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Story: 9/10
The story is well written and has nice pacing to it. You follow a man that has a chance to retake high school for a year. He befriends others, and tries to help to get them all together. At the first episode, it has to cover a decent chunk of backstory, and ReLife does that very well. After that, it paces itself consistently throughout the episodes. By the end, most things feel like they are explained, but there might be a missing link or
...
two somewhere.
Art: 8/10
The art style isn't my favorite, but it isn't the worst animations I've seen. There are a few scenes I enjoyed watching, but about that the art is a solid 8/10. Not bad, but not extremely well done.
Sound: 7/10
The opening is ok, it doesn't catch my attention at all and makes me feel immersed into the story. The sound during the episodes are average, and do a solid job of keeping the flow of things going.
Character: 9/10
Now this is where it all happens. The characters are very well written and presented. We see their problems and selfish desires. The MC is made to be like a helper to connect all the students together. The other characters try to get along with each other, but struggle b/c of problems.
Enjoyment: 10/10
I enjoyed this from the beginning of the series, and continued to binge watch it. It was exciting, and the ending was well done. My favorite thing about ReLife was the backstory of the MC, and what he has experienced before ReLife. It shows his experience can help the students.
Overall: 8/10
ReLife kept me entertained and had my attention throughout the episodes, and I believe it is a worth while watch for new and old anime viewers.
