For me these are two different shows in one. On the one hand you have the adventure life and demon war in this fantasy world, focused on the hero party and how the world is affected by this war. On the other side you have one of the best romance shows I have seen in a very long time, even non-anime shows.
To start off with the best part of the show, the romance between Rit and Red. This was written in a wholesome and mature way to the point where it seems fantasy-esque because it was that good. Let's be real, the chance of
...
this happening to us in real life is pretty small :( Every moment where these two are together is lovely and great to watch. Because of these moments I enjoyed the show so much.
Obviously, I mentioned the other part for a reason, since that is not as good. The world building of this story really leaves a lot to be desired. During the contract demon part in the middle of the show, I had no clue what was happening at times due to the fact that there was no information on who the enemies were. Even in this final part, where someone is able to copy someone, I have no clue what is happening, which is a shame.
But what the show lacks in world building and storytelling, it compensates with the best romance of the year and its amazing realistic characters. I will definitely be buying the novels to get an even better experience of this wholesome show.

After last season, which was not a lot more than a generic isekai, my expectations were not extremely high for this season either. However, this season was way better, it conveyed emotions better and the new characters made it a lot more fun. I actually thought this season was pretty good. The OP slaps as well.
The story continues after last season, where Yusuke has learned that he is actually killing real people and he has changed a bit after completing the challenges. The main point I was looking forward to however, was the reunion with Kahavell, and that crushed me to a point I didnt
...
know possible. There are anime that made me cry, this one didn't but this just crushed me on a fully different level. What we learn is that the time goes faster in the isekai world and Kahavell is widowed with 2 kids. Nice one. The challenges are still as vague and bizarre as ever but I enjoyed the Island arc, the village arc was a bit less but nonetheless decent. The story is not bad but not amazing either.
The art was not bad, especially the scene that was teased in the trailer with Kahavell was so damn beautiful, just watch it ffs. Don't have much more to comment on art.
The new characters are a fresh breathe of air, we get a blonde ganster boy who turns out to be your comedic idiot and is constantly trying to hook up with Shindou. The other character is a lesbian filmmaker, who also provides comedy but also is pretty good at teaching life lessons in the village arc. Yusuke is changing into a psychopathic mastermind, he seems to have learned from last season, but what he learned was not positive. He is now way more ruthless, since he is already guilty. Otaku girl is still annoying, the shy girl has had almost no screen time and Shindou is still manipulative.
The aspect of NPC (inhabitants of isekai) versus the players has become way better this season and the emotions with this are portrayed way better. If you tend to look a bit deeper in this anime than just watching it, it becomes so much better. Some scenes would be iconic if they would have came from a bigger anime, so it definitely improved. The character cast has become bigger and better and the contrast of emotions has become more realistic than last season. If you survive season 1, then this season will be your reward.
ALSO, I MISS KAHAVELL

**SPOILERS**
I have no clue what this series has been trying to achieve in these 12 episodes. We start with Hiro, who pissed his pants at a running tournament under pressure. Because of this, he has basically thrown his life away, school, social etc. When he does not have enough money to buy the game he wanted, he ends up at a crappy game store where Reona seduces him into buying some random game, which was the first full dive game.
From here on you get an adventure where in the end not much happens, he makes some progress in the game but thats about it.
...
The plot is weak and that was noticeable from the start, there is no back story and not really a clear point to which you are working to. In fact, the end goal of the game is to kill the demon lord (i guess, not sure) but at the end of the series he hasn't even left the city yet. So the plot is also really slow.
The characters really aren't special either, you have the MC Hiro, who has a habit of pissing himself, there is no character depth here. You have Reona, who wants Hiro to finish the game so she can marry him, and why? Because the first player who cleared the game rejected her. Then there is Alicia, the sister of Martin, both childhood friends of the character in the game. She wants to kill Hiro because he accidentally killed Martin. Then you have a saw wielding maniac, who gets Hiro to piss himself again. All of these are nothing special and lack real depth.
There are some positive points to the anime though, the art was pretty decent and the comedy in it was quite good as well. The common misconception here is that this is supposed to be a serious isekai, but its more a comedy. If you can get over that, the anime is still quite enjoyable.
TL:DR
Man with habit of pissing himself tries to clear a realistic game but gets nowhere in 12 episodes

Slow life/boring animes are a hit or miss, depending on what you seek from them. If you are purely looking for a entertaining anime that can be 20-25 minutes of relaxation, this genre is perfect. But if you are looking for an anime to keep you hooked, this ain't it.
I really did not expect this to be another slow life anime when I saw the title to be honest, I thought it would have had more action, yet I can't say I'm really disappointed. The relaxation from this anime is absolutely fine as well and is perfect for a Saturday (day episodes come out). Just
...
another story of a witch, who is the best in her class and spends her time making new friends, sound familiar? It definitely has some resemblance to Majo no Tabitabi. Does that make the experience for me any worse, no it does not.
As expected from a slow life, there is not really a story, every episode is just her making new friends and showing that her magic is the best in the world. The characters really aren't special either, the witch has exactly the same personality as witch Elaina and the other characters are nothing remarkable. You have a big-titted elf who is an airhead, two children who are the spirits of slimes and a dragon girl who is like a sister to the witch.
Everything I just mentioned makes it seem like a bad anime, but honestly its not too bad. It can be fun to just relax and watch this anime to calm down. All in all it really depends on whether you want to relax, because if you don't this anime might not be it for you

F*ck me this was a pain to watch. I understand how a romcom can be enjoyable when the characters are a bit stupid, but f*cking hell this overstepped the boundaries by far.
I have to say that some aspects of characters are quite relatable, hence why I think this anime portrays them terribly. When you have the most popular girl in school, who acts like a cold b*tch to everyone, blushing in front of you, surely you get that something is up. Yes, girls might feel like they are difficult to understand and that is true in real life tbf, but surely you recognize when
...
she starts acting different around you.
Another really annoying point is that talking to someone is already seen as cheating/love. I get that this is supposed to add to the comedy but does that really happen? No, of course not. It only adds to the characters being absolutely braindead and not being able to speak their mind. If some find that o be comedy, that is fine but man it just pains me.
Misunderstandings are also a crucial part of this anime, because if at least 10 happen every episode, then it should be funny right? NO!
This anime just really scarred me mentally for how bad it was.
