So, this is my first review. I felt the urge to write it after seeing too many positive reviews/ratings for an anime that I think it could be considered mediocre at best.

Why do I think that? When I was starting the anime I thought "this is pretty standard, but Haru is pretty cute so I'll watch it" but the more I watched, the more boring and repetitive it gets.
I get it, it's a slice of life so there isn't supposed to be a lot of exciting things happening, but how can I enjoy an anime when all the things are subpar:

- The characters are ... paper thin, one look at the design you already know how they'll be and they never change. The MC is a big manbaby who can't do nothing. Yes, you got anxiety and all that but how does that make you unable to peel vegetables and not know nothing about cats that should be common sense, did he live under a rock ?
- The art and animation is the most mediocre thing I've seen. Cutting corners every chance they get (I know they musn't have a high budget).
- The story is predictable and boring. They over-dramatize everything, it gets thrown around as a comedy routine, but it's just plain bad and not funny.

To summarize, it doesn't give you the relaxed and comfy feeling slice of life often does. It's just stupid and at best makes you fall asleep.
