So, Mirai Nikki, where do I even start? It's one of those animes that left me more uncomfortable than a plastic chair on a hot day. The characters? Seriously, none of them are cool. Zero charisma. Yuno, that crazy girl over there, I can't even remember her name – I just know she infuriates me. Just hearing her say "Yuki" gives me nightmares.
I finished this roller coaster in a day, all 24 episodes. Worst decision of my life. Tried to sleep afterward, but all I could manage was being disturbed by what I saw. I don't know how an anime can mess with someone's head
...
so much. I was like, "What did I just watch?" and not in a good way.
And that Yuki guy, the protagonist, is very bad. Can't sympathize with him. You know that type of character you hope something more interesting happens to? Well, it didn't happen.
The plot of Mirai Nikki does have potential, like a Battle Royale for the title of God of Time, sounds promising, right? But in practice, my friend, it's a mix of boring and messed up. That constant agony, especially when things should be heating up, is maddening.
The final part with Yuno's plot does bring some excitement, I'll admit. There are some interesting twists, but then it just fuels my hatred for the character. Like, I don't like her at all. And believe me, I tried. Yuno is the kind of character that makes you root against her, even when you shouldn't.
So, in short, the plot is like that friend who promises a lot in theory but only ends up stressing you out in practice. And Yuno? Just gives me more reasons to stay away from this madness. Mirai Nikki, a roller coaster I definitely wouldn't recommend.
In conclusion, Mirai Nikki is like that food experience you neer want to repeat. I don't know how some people love it. For me, it was the only anime that genuinely left me uncomfortable. Back to my happy place with less disturbing animes.

...

"Tomie" by Junji Ito is a psychological horror masterpiece delving into the depths of obsession and immortality. The complexity of the narrative and the unpredictable plot twists add depth to the story, keeping readers intrigued. The detailed artwork, although occasionally confusing in action scenes, creates an authentically chilling atmosphere. The intentional confusion in the story may pose a challenge for some readers, but it contributes to the overall sense of disconcertion. "Tomie" is a captivating read for those who appreciate horror that defies expectations, although both the artwork and the narrative may require careful reading to be fully appreciated.
At first, I found the chapters confusing
...
and seemingly out of chronological order, as if unraveling the sequence of events was necessary. However, as I progressed through the chapters, I realized how the plot functioned—it's all about Tomie! Regardless of the timeline, the focus remains on her. Moreover, it became evident that the chapters follow stories that either succeed or run parallel to previous chapters. Tomie not only captures the hearts of men but also steals the spotlight in this manga.
In conclusion, I don't give it a perfect score due to the issues I mentioned earlier—the occasionally non-intuitive artwork and the confusion I experienced with the plot at a certain point. However, as my first encounter with Junji Ito's work, I found it incredible!

Honestly, there isn't much to say... The art in this manga is quite lacking, one could even say it's mediocre, which is ironic when compared to the anime, which is one of the most visually stunning anime I've ever seen. The plot is simple and straightforward; don't expect major plot twists and thrilling turns, it's quite predictable and the story is rushed, as if the author wanted to finish the manga as quickly as possible.
But despite all of that, it's undeniable that it's an enjoyable read with a fantastic universe and elements to explore. That's why I love this work as a whole. The character
...
designs are incredible and memorable, and the concept of breaths mixed with swordsmanship is brilliant.
In conclusion, it's a 6/10 because it could be better. The story could have been more developed, without repeating characters' past motivations (which happens with almost all Hashiras), and it could have been less rushed and executed with more care to make the story more nuanced.
Besides that, among the current top three Shounen series (My Hero Academia, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Demon Slayer), it was the one that, in my opinion, had the most potential, but it was completely wasted.
Final message: Watch the anime, not the manga, that's the right way to go. Besides, you won't miss anything; it's all the same, but the anime is much more beautiful.

The first season of "Boku no Hero Academia" introduces viewers to a world where superpowers, or "quirks," have become the norm. The series follows Izuku Midoriya, a quirkless boy with aspirations of becoming a hero in a society where abilities define one's destiny. While the show boasts a compelling premise and exhilarating action sequences, it falls short in a few areas, earning a 7/10 rating.
One of the standout features of the series is its diverse cast of characters, each with their own unique quirks and personalities. Izuku's determination and growth as he earns the power he's always desired are inspiring. However, the development of secondary
...
characters often takes a backseat due to the limited runtime of a single season.
The animation quality is commendable, especially during intense battles and action scenes. The vivid portrayal of various quirks in action adds an element of excitement to the show. Yet, there are instances of inconsistent animation that might leave some viewers wanting more consistency.
The world-building is another strength, with the show exploring the complexities of a society with superpowers and the ethics surrounding these abilities. However, the first season merely scratches the surface of this potential, leaving room for deeper development in subsequent seasons.
Despite its flaws, the first season of "Boku no Hero Academia" provides a solid foundation for a series that has the potential to grow and become truly exceptional. With an exciting narrative and a world full of possibilities, it's a solid choice for fans of action and adventure anime.
The opening and ending of the first season of "Boku no Hero Academia" complement the series' dynamic atmosphere impressively. The opening, with its captivating music and vibrant animation sequences, captures the essence of Izuku and his friends' heroic journey. The action scenes and glimpses of the main characters using their quirks generate excitement and anticipation for what's to come. On the other hand, the ending provides a moment of reflection, with softer music and visuals that delve into the characters' emotions in a more melancholic tone. Together, the opening and ending provide a complete audiovisual experience that enhances immersion in the story and the characters' emotions.
It's a good start for a Shounen, showing a lot of potential and a fascinating universe with plenty to explore and delve into.

The series "Seishun Buta Bunny Girl Senpai" is a true gem in the world of anime, offering a unique and refreshing take on the challenges of adolescence. With a skillful blend of supernatural and emotional elements, the series keeps viewers captivated from the first episode to the last.
The plot follows Sakuta Azusagawa and his intriguing interactions with various girls, each facing a supernatural phenomenon that isolates them from the rest of the world. While the premise might sound peculiar, the narrative skillfully explores issues such as identity, loneliness, and relationships. Well-written dialogues and complex dynamics between characters add depth to the story.
Character development is one
...
of the series' strongest points. Sakuta is a charismatic and endearing protagonist, with his sharp sense of humor and genuine compassion. The girls he encounters have their own distinct personalities and unique problems, contributing to a rich variety of stories in each arc.
The animation and soundtrack live up to the plot, creating an immersive atmosphere that complements the narrative. Emotional scenes are executed skillfully, conveying the characters' complex emotions convincingly.
While the series is a true gem, some might find the pacing a bit slow at certain moments. However, this more contemplative approach allows themes and character feelings to develop more deeply.
Overall, "Seishun Buta Bunny Girl Senpai" deserves a 9/10 rating. With its intriguing plot, well-developed characters, and unique approach to the challenges of youth, the series is a valuable addition to the world of anime, capable of touching viewers' hearts and leaving a lasting impact.

Dragon Ball Z, the action-packed sequel of the iconic franchise, is an emotional roller coaster that blends epic moments with narrative challenges. The anime shines by ramping up adrenaline with its breathtaking battles and delving into profound themes, but it also faces obstacles worth reflecting upon.
The strongest point of Dragon Ball Z undoubtedly lies in its epic battles. Each showdown is masterfully choreographed, with animation capturing the intensity of combat. The evolution of Goku and his friends' transformations creates iconic and memorable instances, leaving a lasting mark on anime fans.
The series also addresses significant themes like friendship, sacrifice, and determination, adding emotional layers to the
...
narrative. Vegeta's journey of redemption and Gohan's internal struggle to grow stronger are notable examples of character depth.
However, Dragon Ball Z is not without criticisms. The repetitive structure of certain arcs, where increasingly powerful villains emerge, can become predictable. Additionally, the length of some prolonged battles and filler episodes can slow down the narrative's pace, testing viewers' patience.
In summary, Dragon Ball Z captivates with its epic battles and exploration of profound themes, living up to its enduring influence. While facing narrative challenges such as plot repetitions and filler episodes, the series continues to be a cornerstone of the shonen genre and a reference point for anime fans worldwide.
Beyond that,"Dragon Ball" and "Dragon Ball Z" are two anime series that are part of the same franchise, but they have distinct differences in terms of tone, plot, and style.
"Dragon Ball" is the original series that introduced main characters like Goku, Bulma, Master Roshi, and Yamcha, taking them on a journey to find the Dragon Balls. This initial phase of the anime has a lighter tone and focuses on adventure, comedy, and exploration. Martial arts battles take center stage, and the world is presented in a more magical and fantastical manner.
On the other hand, "Dragon Ball Z" is a sequel that takes on a more serious tone and focuses on epic battles and intergalactic conflicts. In this series, the main characters face increasingly larger threats, such as powerful aliens and beings with destructive capabilities. Goku's transformations, like the Super Saiyan, become a central point, and battles become more intense and dramatic. The series also delves into deeper themes like sacrifice, redemption, and inner power.
Furthermore, "Dragon Ball Z" is marked by an escalation in the scale of fights and the complexity of plots, while "Dragon Ball" places more emphasis on adventures and world-building. These differences make the two series unique in their own rights and attract different types of audiences.
Dragon Ball Z stands proudly as the progenitor of the shounen genre, earning its place as one of the finest classics. As the originator, it paved the way for countless shounen stories to follow, its impact reverberating through generations of anime. With its iconic characters, exhilarating battles, and a captivating blend of adventure and camaraderie, Dragon Ball remains a testament to the enduring power of storytelling. In the pantheon of old-school shounen anime, it continues to shine as a paragon, cementing its status as a beloved and timeless masterpiece.
