SPOILERS AHEAD, BE WARNED
This is a manga with good dialogue and characters overall. The most positive thing here is the interactions and dialogue, it does not feel forced and the characters over all seem to be well written with no involved clichés. The manga has also a fairly original way of coming up with conflict with the story and it does not abuse the "misunderstanding" card as much as other stories I have read.
However, as some of you may guess the reason why I dropped it around 141 due to the way the character Asuka was wronged. Yes, I'm maybe a bit salty
...
and biased, but this opinion is also based on how the writing (at some points) was handled. I have noticed that there has been minor writing inconsistencies with Haruto's character, he has been at times very emotionally smart and not dense (compared to other manga) but during other times straight up confusing or stupid.
Don't get me wrong humans can make mistakes, but mistakes like for example going home to a drunk woman after a tennis club get-togeheter while having a gf (then later be blackmailed), or constantly being wronged, fooled, straight up manipulated by Rin (Eba's sister) without lashing out or distancing from her are some big and pretty illogical mistakes. Another thing is how Haruto (the MC) abruptly has feelings with Eba (his Ex at the time) after a couple of chapters ago denying this. My last (issue however not as big is the other two) is how some of the arcs are a bit repetitive, I have no issue with this as long as it's written well, which quite frankly has been handled well at some points but other times *not*.
Lastly I also to clarify that character "ships" not going the way I or you as the reader wanted is common, and it has happened a few times, honestly it's ok, not everyone gets the way they wanted. But having that combined with what I would personally say a poorly written story arc does not sit with me well. Hopefully you reading this review understands that in the end of the day this is my opinion and that you have all the right to disagree.
