Interesting and easy to read manga with good action, sexy girls, decent enough story to read till the end.
If you liked Kenichi, then you will like this manga, I would not say that it's better, it is just different, which I like. Though the large cast of characters that were mentioned a lot of times, didn't do anything at all, which is sad. Mostly the story focuses on 3 main character and sometimes additional ones, for 33 volumes, it is not really enough to just see main characters 24/7.
I have started reading this story because of fanservise, and while I liked it, there
...
is no proggesion compared to Kenichi - same designs, same type of fanservise. I expected more.
Anyway I would reccomend it, couldn't stop reading it.

My honest opinion on this story is simple - I came for the ecchi and finished because of ecchi, I didn't care about the plot, I nedeed good, strong story like To Love ru and it delivered.
The colored version of the story is really great for people who likes drawing of girls with big boobs, every single chapter filled with delight, the art is truly enough to make you invested.
However the story is very typical - Basically To Love Ru, but in hot springs. There are not a good main girl like Momo, so no harem ending, the problem is from the very
...
beginning the story tells you right away who will be the winner, so I didn't see any point to explore other characters story, since what is the point, when only one girl will win?
The biggest flaw of the ecchi is an absurd amount of text, I don't see any reason why I have to see this amount of bubbles every single page, it wasn't nedeed at all, since most of it is filler. If you don't like seeing a big amount of text, this manga is not for you. Honestly this is a reason why I will not read it again for a very long time, since to get to girls you need to read quite a lot of fillers.
The last arc (around 2-3 last volumes) is extremely convoluted, I don't know why the author wanted to make a simple story that complicated for the sake of explaining to us why other girls are not gonna get their ending, otherwise someone will die, it is bullshit.
Thinking about it, I didn't really told you about any characters, even the MC. All I can say, that he is too perfect, basically kinda Shiro Emia, a self-insterted protagonist as always, it is very sad to see that due to publication in shounen jump, everything just stops at him falling on girls and their body parts. Any man in his position will literally do a bit more or at least take the situation into his control, even Yuuki Rito from To Love Ru had moments where he had to do lewd stuff by his own will, not here. Mc is only receving. His "savings" of girls are not what I mean here, the situations where he could make a step to make more intimate relashinships with girls will not happen.
And yet I think this is a good ecchi story, unlike To Love Ru darkness with it school girls who are just kids basically, here we have more developed girls. 8/10 (Read only for ecchi)

Since one of my favourite stories is finished in a manga form, why not to make a review and say once again how much I like Oregairu and why I hate some of it.
It is pretty faithful to the original light novels, I think only additional volumes were scratched from here, yet they weren't that interesting in the first place, other than that, it is still the same good old story that I like, with less text and much more pictures.
The art is really solid, it is not Oh Great or other good artist, but it doesn't need to be (unfortunately), what we have
...
is still pretty good. I was blessed to find good scans.
Now to the story, it explores our characters more than anime, but less then light novels. Yukinoshita is not that bad as in light novels. Here we are, let's talk my main problems with the story - Yuigahama and Yukinoshita doesn't deserve any love for being main characters, they are not interesting for me at all. I hate Yukinoshita - after rereading all light novels two times, after watching all 3 seasons 2 times, after reading this manga adaption once I can finally say that her hate towards Hikigaya is nothing more than a bullshit. So you think If a person have eyes that clearly tell to you that this person is very tired, or they are not lively enough, doesn't mean that you should treat this person like garbage. I always hated half of oregairu for this reason alone - there weren't really any reasons to treat Hachiman like garbage, he wasn't even doing any harm to other people, he was kind to them most of the time. He just didn't want to be close to them, since he liked his way of living. Yuigama is nothing more than a useless version of Setsuna from white album 2, Setsuna was a compelling character that honestly, if you think rationally is a perfect pair for Haruki, not Kazusa.
Hikigaya Hachiman is a person that has problems, yet he was pushed against his will to the club to help people, inside of there a girl who hates him for no reason, simply because she has a rich family doesn't mean that I will like her just for that, her behaviour towards him made me hate her till the end, I do not like her. The same applies to Yuigahama, I must admit that she wasn't so aggressive towards him, yet she still does the same things as Yukinoshita. He was the one, who saved her dog, yet her behaviour is also something that I don't like anyway. She doesn't deserve to be with him either.
It must look like that I am defending one and saying that other two are garbage character - yes and no. There are two reasons why I changed my opinion about the trio - the first one is bad behaviour towards him, and the other one is White Album 2.
Hachiman needed some help, I understand it, being in this world without anyone to rely on is a very harsh and cruel reality that I will never anyone to experience, but Shizuka-sensei should of made a different decision, not take him to this fucking girl and make it even worse, she should of start helping him in person, maybe it sound a little bit too much, but you should remember, that she thinks of him as the best student that she ever had, also she does things that no other teacher would do - going to eat ramen together, speak about personal things too much, getting into her car and other things. So she could do this private session to change him with care, I think she failed as a teacher to him, throwing him there and leving to understand everything on his own is a bad decision.
Another problem is White album 2 - if you don't know what is this, then it is simple - a love triangle where you understand who will win right away, problem is Oregairu takes a lot from it, but doesn't go very deep like White album 2 did, Setsuna and Kazusa as main girls are literally one of the best thing that this industry has ever made, nothing can come close to how good they are, this is why a fight between fans who is better is always going to be so weird - both of them are fantastic, flawed characters. Oregairu on the other hand has a fantastic protagonist, but bad heroines, not bad in a way of flawed characters, but simply not enough to make them compelling characters.
Shizuka is not a bad pick for Mc, yet she is old, so no. Iroha, Miura and Kawasaki Saki are the ones that I will think as a girl that should of been with mc.
The biggest spoiler to all of this is the author itself - he didn't really give us a lot of these characters on screen, he just forgot about them most of the time, so fanfiction is great for this reason only.
Iroha is great, she doesn't treat him like garbage, only weird misunderstandings, she used to be my favourite girl even before playing white album 2. Her arc is very good - from a girl who chases a popular guy to understanding that she wants something real, or perhaps geinuine, then her phrase to Hachiman about taking responsobilty for changing her to the core. Yet after it the athrour didn't give a fuck about her, and we never really see anything with her.
Kawasaki Saki and Miura are only great in fanction, simply because they don't have a lot in original oregairu.
I like this girls, because I they are my type of girls, but Miura is my favourite girl because she is my ideal type of a girlfriend.
Instead of writing Yui's story, Wataru should of been writing about these three girls, not these two garbage of a character.

Started great, but too much useless water for most of the time.
First 40 chapters are the ones that will develop every single main girl and right in the next chapter they should confess their fellings, but they don't. That is my biggest problem with the story. Too much useless information, too much bad things.
Main girls are weird, they like to treat MC like garbage for no reason. He proved himself too much times, but no. I don't like that the girls start to have feelings for him, yet did NOTHING till the very fucking end. I didn't like that Mc is your regular Rito from
...
to love ru, who does nothing, always in monk mode, he will never be fallen to girls beauty, bloody fantastic.
Let's talk about girls and my problems with them:
Tomochika, Asami - the first one who is a sadist basically, I don't like her. She doesn't like mc, yet for some fucking reason close to the end she confessed to him, great. Mc and her didn't really had any connection to begin with, just some bullshit.
Tsuruse, Riko - the cancer of the story - the one who hates man because they perverted, hates mc, even when he helped her countless times, still the same, yet in the end she also likes him, great. The worst character of the story, the way she treated Mc is nonsense really, If I would him, I would just punch her and say fuck you.
Sakado, Karen - why is she the main character? She is not. A teacher that appears for a bit, then disappears for most of the story. Don't like her.
Mitomori , Wakaba - a childhood friend of mc who returned from america. She likes him, yet does very little. I don't hate her, but she is underdeveloped.
Sasahara, Kiyoka - a garbage character that I hated. The girls that mc likes for some fucking reasons, I guess because she has big oppai, yet she always ruins everything for me, when mc has great moments with other characters, there we have here to make it worse, she is like Tsuruse - a garbage character.
Daito is your regular mc, who doesn't have any balls (literally), he always wants to help anyone, yeah, yeah, we all know this type of characters.
Ending - it is nonsense. Author ruined it completely, he didn't choose anyone for the mc, like to be continued and that is it. I think it was a mistake.
Should you read it? Ecchi is above average, not to love ru level unfortunately, but at least something. The story is funny sometimes, not too long. I think you shouldn't

I am the one who has read every single chapter and let me tell that I didn't understand anything.
The first manga ever where I don't have any clues what was it for. Even if I would try to make sense of the plot, It would of taken a great amount of time to even think what is it, while also rereading all of it again. Yeah, I will not do that.
I have read the manga because the art was made by the legend himself Oh! great. It is really good, yet is this art worth to dive into the manga? Read the first 2-3
...
volumes and think for yourself. I didn't like the story, I had some laughs in it, some good moments and good dialogues but most of the time I was reading and just gazing at the great art, nothing else. It is super weird.

I have rad half of the first volume and it is bad. It is for people who likes perversion. Not for people who like ecchi, but for real criminals, so I wasn't able to read it.
Basically the whole plot is horny people wants to peek at girls sacred places, the problem is the characters are not funny, they look like criminals that do bad things. In other ecchi manga I don't really see it, even perverts are not like this people. So yeah, do not read it. Even if it's in color, it is not worth it, the drawings are pretty bad.

A great manga that can be as good as to love ru darkness, unlike darkness, where we know that it is not finished and we expect continuation, we have here a complete manga that for some reason says at the end that it is... a prologue. 10 volumes - just a prologue.
And here I am, writing this, thinking what to say about it. 2 years since it is finished, I don't really see on MAL any information about author's continuation. He literally said that a lot of girls love him or at least like him, yet mc... don't like anyone. Just like that. It
...
pretty much ruins the feeling of completion, since mc didn't choose anyone. Hell, at the end we see a lot of questions that mc asks about girls, their favourite things to do, why they decided to like manga and other things... at the last volume near the end. Great timing.
Anyway I still like it, it has superb ecchi scenes that will give you blue balls, unexpectedly great scenarios, and good art. Do not expect a good ending or continuation.

To love Ru was a phenomenal manga, for it is own genre it made a revolution - ecchi manga with an enormous amount of fanservice, yet the series didn't forget about anything else - good characters, interesting stories, great art, when it ended, after some time To love Ru darkness came out - the best harem manga of all time, while also being one of the best manga ever. Let's talk about it.
It was my third time rereading the whole series again, this time all chapters were coloured and I was reading in Japanese. Recently I came to the conclusion that rereading anything is
...
a waste of time - you already know everything that will happen, nothing new. Yet for some reason I have decided to do it for the third time. It was completely worth it.
Let's talk about the core of everything - harem project. From the very beginning we see a very big difference from the first part of to love Ru - changing directions. While we all like harem manga, we all know that in reality the first heroine that we see will be the final girl that mc will choose, to love Ru was the same, a love triangle, yet Darkness is different, it wants to pursue the harem plan, and the main culprit of the idea is Momo.
Momo is... a miracle honestly, a side character that appeared at the middle of the manga, at the beginning she was just that - a cute side character, yet Darkness made her a main heroine above Lala, Sairenji and any other girl. Just thing about it - she stole main positions and time of every single girl. She even more important than Rito itself sometimes. She is the one who wants to make harem project, she knows that a lot of girls loves Rito, so what is the only solution to make everyone happy? A harem! It's not legal in japan, but If Rito will marry Lala, then it is possible, since she is an alien. Let's do it!
Since the beginning the story focuses on three girls - Momo, Yami and Mea. While I would say that Mea is good overall, she cannot compete with Momo and Yami. They have the best story out of any single girl. Seeing Yami vs her darkness mode, while listening to music from solo levelling is a blast. A truly action manga!
To love ru is nothing without ecchi, in full color we see the best ecchi that is literally a borderline hentai. It is not a secret that Yabuki Kentaro wanted to push the limits beyond as much as possible. It is true, I don't know why he is so talented in the area of drawing girls and their very important parts, but he is a GOD here. Art is phenomenal, it is not only the best ecchi manga, but one of the best manga in terms of art.
But art is nothing without a good story, and here we have some problems - the most important one is ending. We don't have a proper conclusion, it just ends. I hope Kentaro Yabuki and to love ru scenario writer will finish To love ru, it needs a great ending. The second problem is Lala and Saenji. Lala is good overall, yet she shares much less screen time then in the first part of to love ru, it is not bad because I love Momo and Yami, but she is the main character, it is sad a bit. And we also have Saenji - she is the worst girl here, nothing happens with her, Yuki likes her, but it is not believable, she does nothing for him and he does nothing for her. I know the reasons for it, the cheating of Yabuki's wife, but the character is bad even without it.
Let's talk about Rito, honestly, he is not simply a harem protagonist that we can associate yourself with him, he is much more than that. When he was saving girls, he didn't hesitate any minute. I think that he is peak was at Yami vs darkness and Nemesis versus King Deviluk, at this moment to love ru darkness became one of the best manga that I have read and Rito became a great protagonist that you believe that he deserves the harem.
The last thing to talk is ecchi, probably the most important thing . We all like seeing girls naked, yet a lot of harem stories just show us panties or boobs for a while, a lot of time switching to other things and it doesn't feel organic. Darkness and original to love ru is hot as possible. Every single chapter we see tons of how stuff multiple times. Ecchi is everywhere - during fights, slice of life, during serious moments and funny ones. It is simply wow. The best ecchi ever. Yabuki is a genius. Another great thing about it is all girls are pretty average in terms of their sizes. They don't have a gigantic boobs or asses, and that works very well, because Yabuki proofs that you need a talent to make them shine, not a size.
In the end, it is a phenomenal manga, the best ecchi harem manga that actually pursued the idea of harem, a fantastic art and great story. Waiting for the final part.
