I think most of the problems I had while watching Sekirei Pure Engagement are caused by it being the second season. The story's not as fresh as it first was. The main character has already achieved something and some trump cards can't be played again without seeming repetitive.
The story hasn't changed much since the last season. Parts of the background story were revealed but that didn't change my perspective on the whole story much. I was sometimes annoyed by the action of the main character and some elements of this series got a bit old.
The animation is still good. Nothing jaw-dropping.
Pure Engagement definitely isn't better

Sekirei is a combination of a couple of things: supernatural women with huge breast and incredible powers who instantly fall in love with certain people, form harems around those persons and fight with girls from other harems.
This may sound negative but I didn't mean it like that. It's easy to see how this show tries to appeal to its viewers and it really is appealing! The story seems like it was made up to fit the genres that were aimed for: action and harem-comedy. It does have a deeper background story but after the first season I still know little of it. I really wonder how you should raise kids to make them turn out like the main characters of Mitsudomoe. They all have funny personalities, one's more original than the other but definitely good enough to make you laugh.
The story's good but it still just a school anime. It's the combination of the teacher, nurse and students which makes the plot so good. I don't think I've ever seen a series with more misunderstandings and it's hilarious. The art is really fitting. Especially some effects. The opening's done quite good as well. KissXSis is one of the most ecchi series I've seen so far but it isn't the kind of ecchi I've seen so far. Usually you'd expect seduction, big breasts and panty shots. KissXSis went beyond that. There was always some kind of tension and it didn't always stay innocent.
The story is original but I felt they could make it a little deeper. I would have liked to see more of the main-characters past and the reason for the current situation. I recently watched this show for the second time after a few years and I must say, it's still just as funny.
The only 'poor' rating I gave was concerning the story. What can I say, Lucky Star doesn't HAVE a story but I won't condemn it for it. That's one of the aspects that make it so great. Sora no manimani was very relaxing. It didn't have the best comedy I've seen but it was still pretty funny.
The plot isn't something unrealistic. Anybody could be the main character of this story so it isn't extraordinary but I never got bored. I kept wanting to see more of their activities. The dialogue could be hilarious at times and the voice acting was better than most anime. I should have known but this series is meant for the female audience. There's not much more I can say. I didn't like it that much but mainly because I was expecting something else.
The story isn't anything special. It could have turned out better but it stayed pretty normal. It's just about a girl who never gives up. The conversations between the characters aren't that good. A new anime to add to my recommended list. I was already excited about it just by reading the description.
The main story is original, ironic and causes some really funny situations. On top of that the episodes are filled with standard high school plots such as pool/beach, school trip, Christmas, ... The biggest achievement of this series' story is its end. Unlike most other harem-comedies this one has a decent captivating and 'epic' ending. The idea behind the story is original but I think the story could use some changes. I wouldn't have minded if there wasn't as much fighting and the main character wasn't so powerful. This anime isn't the best I've seen but I enjoyed watching it and looked forward to each episode.
I've never heard of a story like this one and I doubt this would ever happen in reality but I like how a girl is perverted for once and how her friend thinks she's weird. It's funny that only you and that friend know the main characters true motives. The dialogue is good and realistic. It's easy to understand how the characters feel.
