I can't express my disappointment in this. Maybe my expectations were too high coming into this, although I lowered it after hearing some bad things about the studio that produced this, but it's unbelievable how some aspects seem to be WORSE than the show from ~15 years ago.
The story is interesting so far. We start out with the re-introduction of our characters excluding the Digimon 02 characters. (What happened to them anyways? What were those scenes in the beginning supposed to mean? We still have a few more parts left so I won't comment on it for now) Anyways there's also this secret agent
...
group whom we'll hopefully get to know more about. We don't have a lot of information about what's going on and I think it's okay to leave it like that since this part is probably supposed to serve as an introduction for the main plot.
In contrast to this part's title "Reunion" which is supposed to be impactful for us viewers since the characters make a return after over a decade, the reunion I saw here didn't give me personally any feels. I also disliked how they only showed the reunion between 3 pairs and left out the rest. Anyways, the kids are teenagers now and of course a change in their thinking can be expected. Taichi, who used to be the courageous one and always lead the group into new battles, falls in an inner conflict which is totally fine. But then the final scene just completely nullifies Taichi's development as a character as he seems to show little emotion about the city's partial destruction and even letting Alphamon escape. Well if there's something interesting about the characters it would probably the potential formation of love interests.
The visuals in this show is also very appalling. A lot of still frames are to be seen and the characters' faces sometimes are weird. However, what disappoints me the most is how they didn't even bother animating the digimons' evolutions beyond the champion level. Like what were they thinking when they made this decision? I don't know if it's only me, but a big part of the nostalgia comes from the EPIC evolution scenes. Nevertheless, I think the battle scenes were pretty good although the lack of sound annoyed me a little bit. (just lots of boom & crash sounds) HOWEVER, the final battle was just absolutely trash. The build up was very nice with Taichi trying to overcome his inner conflict and you'd expect a really cool battle between our villain and Omegamon, but nah Agumon and Gabumon just digivolve one stage after another (WITHOUT BEING ANIMATED) after seeing that their attacks have no effect on Alphamon. Anyways we finally come to the battle between Alphamon and Omegamon! Sword and axe crossing each other 2 or 3 times and cannons being shot around 3 times and then Alphamon makes his way out and that's it. Yeah. No comment.
As for the sound, they used a remake of the original OP and some of the OST from the original show if I remember correctly and I found it very positive. The usage of instrumental of the song as the OST was also pretty nice.
All in all, though, it was still very disappointing and I hope to see something better in the upcoming parts of the movie.

Tamako Love Story, also known as the sequel movie to the TV animation series 'Tamako Market', follows the story of an innocent girl named Tamako who recieves a confession from Mochizou, whom she considered only as her childhood friend. In this movie the viewer gets to have the chance to experience the romance aspect of the series between Tamako and Mochizou which was rather lacking in the TV animation series.
As the movie focuses on the relationship development between Tamako and Mochizou, the characters from the island are left out of the main story, but instead we get to see a little more Tamako's school friends
...
Kanna, Midori and Shiori.
The story itself is very unoriginal - something that anyone has experienced and something that will remind you of your own love experiences back in the days or maybe something that you are having right now. I believe this is why it is very easy to imagine yourself in either one of the protagonists' perspectives and thus making the story, despite its unoriginality, very enjoyable and something the viewer can sympathize with.
KyoAni, as expected, delivers not only its stunning visuals which can be seen through amazing backgrounds and facial expressions that I once believed were unable to be drawn/expressed in the 2D world, but also soundtracks. The ED of the movie is namely the song composed by Tamako's father which he used to confess his feelings to Tamako's mother - only this time sung by our female protagonist, Tamako which goes along with the final scene of this movie very well.
Overall, I thought the story was very well executed and certainly exceeded my low expectations after finishing the TV animation series, Tamako Market. I tried to make no spoilers so there might be many aspects of this show lacking in this review, but I hope this will give you a thought to try this movie out (whether you watched the prequel or not since it does not play a crucial role to understand the plot of this movie).
I give this an 8 out of 10.

I currently feel really empty after seeing my favorite show coming to an end (Season 2 WHEN?!), but I can't let anyone just pass by this show without giving it a go. And excuse me for my poor English in case I make mistakes! Hope it doesn't disturb you too much.
At first sight Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun might look like one of those typical Shoujo anime which follows a typical storyline, but hey guess what? This is actually an incredibly hilarious anime that will blow your mind with all these unexpected scenes. I kindly recommend you to step back if you're expecting a Shoujo anime and
...
I give you a warm welcome if you're into a comedic show.
The story is set in a high school with a female student as our main protagonist, Chiyo Sakura, who has a crush on a fellow student, Nozaki Umetarou, who is in the same grade. With Chiyo's misunderstood confession to Nozaki she gains the knowledge that he is actually a Mangaka whose Shoujo manga is published monthly in a magazine and somehow ends up as an assistant of his and thus we begin our daily life featuring Chiyo and Nozaki and their fellow companions.
As for the story, there isn't much to say since it doesn't follow a solid main story line of any sort except for the daily lives of Nozaki as a mangaka and how he sees the world differently from every other "normal" person would do.
I can't give a professional answer for the art & sound field since I don't usually pay much attention to it, but the art was definitely well-done. I wouldn't call it particularly great, but it was on an acceptable level to enjoy the show. For the sound, I found the opening song outstanding and very enjoyable.
Coming to characters this is probably one of the shows that has the most diverse characters that are typically to be seen in a manga or an anime. I believe this is what makes the show really enjoyable for they lead the show to multiple unexpected outcomes of events which turns out absolutely hilarious. The humor is very different from any other I have seen so far as well.
In conclusion, I believe this is a show that can be enjoyed by anyone and I recommend this to anyone who are into comedic shows and don't mind having it a solid plot line. If you decide to give it a go I hope that you will find your enjoyable moments as I did.
I give this a show a 9/10.

I'm not a long anime fanboy, but I can definitely say that I just absolutely love KyoAni's works. Guess I just love those kawaii moe type characters.
Well anyways coming to the review. I enjoyed this series very much overall. I was able to get into the series relatively fast and it never got boring in my opinion. The story itself isn't that strong, but I still think it's something quite unique and enjoyable. However, many things were left unexplained in the end and I'm disappointed how they didn't tell or show us in any kind of a way why certain characters decided to play this
...
role and commit that action.
I'm not really the type who interprets characters and judge why they're good or bad and I don't really concentrate on looking at developments so I'll skip this part. Well I guess everyone played their role into developing the plot.
Art. Nothing much to say except that it's outstanding and phenomenal once again by KyoAni. I just love anime that have really great artworks. Besides that the music here is just simply awesome. They managed to end like every episode so perfectly with a sentence that makes you wait anxiously for the next one and the music to it fits perfectly well. First anime song I put in to my iPod ever since i started watching anime.
Overall this series was fascinating and if KyoAni manages to deliver an additional season with some explanation behind things they didn't manage to do in the first one, it would be amazing. I'd put this between 7 and an 8, but since I enjoyed it a lot, I'll give it an 8.
It's really a matter of personal taste whether you'll enjoy this or not, but at least give it a try. You're the one judging the show after all.

White Album 2
I guess I'll just start off with how much I loved this series. I consider it by far the best series I have ever watched in my entire life. I went through joy and pain while watching this and I shed my very first tears just watching this. (Maybe because it reminded me of my first love)
Well yeah. Story? Simply said, a love triangle between a boy, who just in his nature itself is kind and friendly to others, and two girls, Setsuna and Toumou. Consequences? Girls fall in love with him. I personally disliked how the MC dealt with this problem, but
...
I suppose that's what made this extremely good.
As a viewer you'll be able to grab out some hints on how the plot will develop, but I personally loved how they displayed the show not only in one perspective, but in two somewhere in two episodes when the series came near to the end.
Toumou's behind story was phenomenal in my opinion and you could just see why she just had to fall for him.
Anyways, this was my first review and I hope it'll help some of you get into this series and go through the same experience that I did.
10/10 for me.
