Kono Oto Tomare!

Both anime feature characters who are trying to prove themselves and overcome their trials and tribulations. While one is set in a futuristic sci-fi setting and the other is in a current day Japan school life, music is what really ties them together. You will watch full and soothing performances (plus some EDM inspired music in Carole & Tuesday) with acoustic instruments (koto and guitar/piano) in both anime which can also be incredibly inspiring. Overall, both shows are very wholesome.

Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun
|
Ah, certainly we adore stories and comedies that make fun of it's own genre and because they do, they shine even more. Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun primarily focuses on the hilarious events of Nozaki trying to find inspiration for his manga whereas in Lucky Star, we just adore Konata's kawaii appearance mismatched with her love for anime/manga/games that extend to areas she should not be playing. All in all, the comedy in both series will have you laughing if not all the time, but at least once in each episode. The entire cast for both anime will also grow on you making you want for more comedic interactions.

Kaichou wa Maid-sama!

The genre of romance between the two aren't the same at all. However, in both, the main character (in the case of Junjou though the more rational one in each of the couples, I suppose) has to deal with irrational or uncontrollable people and their significant other. Artwork is almost similar, mostly feeling wise. Comedy all around.

Atmosphere. Character design. Comedy. Light-heartedness. Characters with strange and interesting personalities. That's all I can really say.

Kimi ni Todoke

Both series emit a sort of nostalgic feeling that makes you feel calm and happy when you watch them (at least for me it did). Kobato and Sawako are socially awkward but in a good way; they are both naive, honest, and very considerate of others but they can be a bit overdramatic exceeding others' expectations. To a certain extent both are slice of life animes, although Kobato's got Clamp's usual magical elements and cross-over characters and Todoke's got Sawako's Sadako (the Ring, if you know what I mean) misunderstanding. The nostalgic feeling, lovable characters, cute plots, and the comedic moments would surely make you keep watching.

Yume-iro Pâtissière

The plots for both aren't really similar with Yumeiro focusing on Ichigo pursuing to be a patissiere and Itazura focusing on Kotoko pursuing Naoki's love. Simply put, one's baking and the other's love. But the main thing in both stories is how hard the main female lead works to achieve her goals. Both are initally utterly (well almost) hopeless, ditzy, and klutzy but it's also what makes them lovable.

Hetalia Axis Powers

Hetalia is a 5-minute ONA and Nodame is longer than that but I felt that the atmosphere and some of the randomness were quite similar. The drawings kind of reminded me of each other as well. Plus, "South Italy" (Feliciano) really reminds me of Nodame and vice versa.

Both have a similar feel and it's not just in the humor and fantasy category but also in the ...er... cross-dressing aspect? Well, they both involve a girl turning into a dude...sort of.

Rental Magica

They're not exactly alike seeing as to how one deals with magic and the other deals with the mafia. Actually, Katekyo Hitman Reborn does have something that can relate to magic - the dying will flames. Anyway, in both series, the protagonist is a boy who isn't very strong at all and is usually constantly protected by others (at first anyway). But when you're hoping something unexpected to happen to save the day, it usually happens with the cause being Tsuna/Itsuki. Both characters get pretty strong and it just looks really cool to watch. (Well, not really Tsuna at first per say, but later, yeah.)

The story-lines aren't very similar but the random (and not logical) experiences both Haruhi's experience (well, in melancholy's case, mostly Kyon's experience) are quite similar. While watching Melancholy, I thought of Ouran so yeah. They're both quite funny too.

Tokyo Crazy Paradise

They both are written by the same author, so the humor and drawings are similar. Both aren't your typical shoujo stories either; they are both unique. Tokyo Crazy Paradise has a whole lot more fighting scenes than Skip Beat where there's kicks and little devil spirits. But in both, the main character undergoes amazing transformations which make you want to see more.
