Very similar to each other. Both stories involve humans fighting alien bugs that are taking over the earth. They also both favor character development over actual battles, which can be a let down for some people.

...then you might like Uchuu no Senshi add

Both are similar but also very different. Uchuu no Senshi revolves more around the bug killing where as Gunparade March focuses heavily on the relationships of the characters and less on the bug killing.

If you liked Blue Gender add

...then you might like Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse add

Both shows revolve around mecha fighting bug like monsters that are invading earth. Muv-Luv focuses less on the bug killing and more on the politics and relationships behind the mecha that nations make to protect themselves from the bugs. Blue Gender is pretty much all bug killing goer with some romance tossed in. Both are worth watching if your into mecha battles and alien invasions.

While Kimikiss revolves around the main male characters and each of their respectable relationships, Amagami SS revolves around the single male lead and his interactions with each girl that has a crush or strong feelings for him. Amagami SS's story is made up of arks for each girl while KimiKiss is just one story that bounces between characters. Both have similar feels to them so if you liked one then you'll like the other.

...then you might like Kyou kara Maou! add

Almost the same exact story. The only real difference is that the main character is a guy in Kyou kara Maou and a girl in Juuni Kokuki. If you loved one then you'll surly love the other.

Same type of story. Mother has young girl but cant take care of the girl so she leaves her with family/friends. Main character is a lowly guy that offers to take care of girl and learns the hardships of taking care of a kid. Both are loving stories and will make you have warm fuzzy feelings inside.

...then you might like Ergo Proxy add

Both are about a futuristic post apocalyptic world. Main characters are unaware of the past and try to peace together clues on what happened. Ergo Proxy is more action based where as Pale Cocoon is more cyberpunk.

...then you might like Penguin Musume♥Heart add

Both are about a group of school girls that do comical things. The main character for both shows is a self proclaimed Otaku. Penguin Musume's main character however is also incredibly rich, which often makes things even more funny.

Same type of story. Ah My Goddess is about a lonely guy meeting a goddess and they fall in love. A.I. Love You is about a lonely guy making an AI girl computer program that happens to come to life and they fall in love. Both are slice of life romances.

...then you might like Natsume Yuujinchou add

Both deal with exterminating demons or spirits. In both anime the protagonists have a demon follower (Nyanko - Natsume Yuujinchou / Mokkun - Shounen Onmyouji) which are very similar to each other.

Both have similar art and storys. Kigeki is far shorter then VHD but still leaves a lasting impression.

Both about a kid that inherits his relatives past ghost hunting ability's and powers. Kekkaishi is more so about hunting and exercising demons where as Natsume Yuujinchou is about returning the demon's names and allowing them to pass on.

The beginning of both episodes is basically the same. Both start out with a teen kid that meets a magical girl (or goddess). They get kicked out of their apartment because its "no girls allowed" and are forced to look for a new place to live. The Magic girl (or goddess) in both shows saves the day by using her powers to find a place to live. At the same time the main character starts to show signs of love for the girl. Sekirei also has elements from other popular shows tossed in, for example Fate/Stay Night and Elfen Lied. So the show is not entirely about love and romance, there is action and fighting.

...then you might like Asu no Yoichi! add

Boy lives with a group of girls under one roof. Girls all misunderstand him and think he's a pervert. The only real difference between the two manga is that in Love Hina the main character is trying to study and get into a University wile living in an all womens dorm where as in Ashita no Yoichi the main character is training to help better himself as a samurai and the dojo happens to be full of just women.

Both are about humans vs bugs. Starship troopers (aka. Uchu no Senshi) is about the earth being attacked by an unknown bug life form located somewhere out in the vast space galaxy. Blue Gender is about the earth being over run by over sized killer bugs and humanity fighting to maintain whats left of their own existence from being wiped out.

.hack//SIGN is about people getting stuck in an MMORPG video game where as Amatsuki is about people getting stuck in a virtual reality Japaneses history machine and sent to Japan's past. Both have an interesting story but have very close similarity's. Amatsuki is very slow at the start but begins to pickup as characters and plot are introduced.

Both are about an organization fighting monsters/demons. Both use religion as a base to build the story. If your into a dark story then both of these are worth watching.

...then you might like Mahoromatic: Automatic Maiden add

Same type of story. Both are about alien girls. Both have a main character that's a guy and they both fall in love with the alien girl.

If you liked Tenjou Tenge add

...then you might like Shijou Saikyou no Deshi Kenichi add

Same type of story. Main character is a weakling that joins a school that has fighting clubs and gangs that like to test out the new freshmen to see how strong they are. Main character gets picked on and joins a dojo to get stronger. He ends up getting hunted down by the local gang and has to protect him self. Full of comedy just like Tenjou Tenge.
