TL;DR - if you haven't read the source material, you may like it... but I highly recommend reading either the LN/WN (original) or the manga (adaptation done right)
Story - it's terrible, not because the actual story is bad, but because so much content and backstory is cut out that if I hadn't read the source material I would have no bloody idea how the story started or why Hajime hates everyone. It's not explained and crucial sstory details or just cut out completely.
Art - Giving this a 2 here because there are some good scenes, but the abusive level of what can only be described

as some of the most horrendously bad CGI just destroyes everything. Everything that isn't background or human is just horrible CGI; horses, vehicles, weapons, it's all just terrible. It translates into the fight scenes as well, the choice of shot transition and even the choice of shot itself. And then there's the large use of powerpoint slides it isn't funny and used to fill time... time that could have been used for showing the content they cut instead. The anime also changes the visual design of weapons and vehicles as well.
Sound - To it's credit the OP is brilliant and the VA do a good job allround as well... that's about it. The background music I can't even remember, Hajime's guns sounded weak and why they thought to give his bike and car the sound of an engine I will never know... oh wait, I do know, they just never bothered to explain that it was SILENT because it ran off his mana
Character - They toned down Hajime's callous personality. He literally hates everyone and is a twisted anti-hero in the source mmaterial, in this he just seems moody. Then there's Yue, who is leterally meant to be as emotionaless as a doll towards everyone except Hajime and literally says herself later in the source material that she wanted to kill everyone... and Hajime is so callous that he doesn't even blink at that, he literally shrugs likes it's nothing. But watching the anime you wouldn't guess the characters personalities were like this at all because of how much they've been toned down.
Overall - It's a terrible adaptation, one of the worse and it should have been cancled well before the first episode aired. I know how it got a second season and it's not because so many people enjoyed it, and I respect your opinion if you did enjoy it, but I think it's fair to say that of the MANY views that came from people who have read the source meterial, the majority were to keep watching to laugh at how horribly bad it was.
The production team should honestly feel ashamed of creating this atrocity and should be trying their level best forget it ever existed let alone thinking they're good enough to make a season 2.
