It's been said before but I want to say it anyway. They're two sides of the same coin, I'm glad I watched Mononoke first so I could see the differences. Mononoke deals with saving the forest of animals from humans. Nausicaa deals with saving the human world from the forest of bugs and trying to find peace between the two worlds. Both have strong female protags but in different ways. Mononoke is vicious, she won't hesitate to choke a bloke, while Nausicaa does everything in her power to do things the pacifist way, she does get ferocious for a scene but she learns from it.

Both main characters were involved in an accident and lost their memory, though Golden Time uses that more than SNAFU. Both also have love triangles.
