Both are mystery animes taking place in small villages in the depths of the country. They share pretty alike atmosphere, though visual style differs a bit. Personally I prefer 'Moryou no Hako' to 'Shiki'.

...then you might like Kochira Katsushikaku Kameari Kouenmae Hashutsujo The Movie add

Lupin III's movies are obviously strongly similar to Kochikame's. Just because they both share that pretty alike James Bond or even Jean-Paul Belmondo classic action movies cheesy stylishness.

Both are historical animes about great kings/military commanders--Cao Cao for Souten Kouro and Alexander The Great for Reign.

Both have alike action style (maybe because of the same director), both are full of manlyness and similar dark humour. Also, the main boss in both is the same big fat guy.

Same-styled novel adaptations from Madhouse studios. Both are provided with great artwork (CLAMP for MnH and Kubo Tite/Takeshi Obata/Takeshi Konomi for AB) and awesome story. Mouryou no Hako's director is also involved in Aoi Bungaku project.

The art is pretty similar (maybe because of Madhouse's production). Both animes are historical and the action is full of violence, gore and blood.

Both series are produced by Madhouse and that's why art is almost identical. Kurou bears a strong resemblance to Jubei because of his battling style and antagonists' designs are very much alike.

Another anime about racing on mechas. The art is quite resembling (CG mecha designs and 2D characters). In both animes main character is a girl.

If you liked Kore ga Watashi no Goshujinsama add

They have a quite similar animation and soundtrack (both are made by SHAFT). In both animes a girl gets under main character's control. Also in boths there are some shojo-ai elements.
