This is my first and probably only review.

The whole anime was pretty good. I was gonna give it a 9/10 but than the last 2 episodes happened and oh boy was it absolute trash. SOOOOO many fucking things are happening at the same time but nothing is explained at all. There is probably around 5 years that passes in the last 10 minutes of the series (never explained so don't know how much time passed) but instead of making another 10 episodes to let it sync in with the viewer they just rushed the fuck out of it and called it a day.

In the last ... 10 minutes in the fight between the two main characters (Ryo and Akira). The humans were numerous before all of that but they skipped directly to the last stronghold of humans. Somehow those humans have super advanced technologies and are using a lot of weird stuff that was never explained(nor ever seen before). Akira also has a gigantic army made out of Devilman's which was just very briefly explained but they never showed the progress of gathering the army nor did they show how the humans managed to develop weapons specifically to fight demons. They show for a split second that humans might use demons to generate power but devilmans saved them in the last fight and they said they are in the devilman clan(because they actually used devilman's. That scene is very dramatic and intense and it gives you a sense of importance but it was never explained why there was such contraptions or why humans used them. The list of stuff that was never explained just goes on and on and on so it is just a whole fucking mess.

It would of been soo much better have they done a 20 episode series instead since there was so much content that they just skimmed over. I WANT to know how the humans struggled for this fight. I WANT to see the conflicts in the last human stronghold (humans use devilman's as power would be very interesting, so would the infrastructure and weapon development and training to fight demons). I WANT to see Akira building up his army and going through the whole world (who is being ravaged) trying to find other devilman's. I LASTLY i want to see why devilman's seem to be soo god damn loyal to Akira to the point that they willingly sacrificed themselves on multiple occasions to help him.
