Review based on (Chapter 6) as of writing.

If you like OP MC helping loli then you will like this one, as it is kinda like One Punch meets JJK.

Story : So far there is nothing that stands out about this series in terms of story. The MC motivation is bland, his personality is forgettable at this point. The best example would be if chainsaw man MC was boring and OP.

Art : Art is beautiful! It's well designed and wonderful to look at. Expressions are clear with a powerful angles. Character designs are fun and interesting.

Action : This has to be one of the ... weakest areas for me. The fights are SUPER quick, since you know this MC basically 1 to 3 hits everything, so alot of the action shots don't flow well or have little impact. BUT there are some shots that are ABSOLUTELY amazing. I find it weird case the creator is able to consistently have BEAUTIFUL framed shots when not in combat.

Overall : It HAS potintal and I'll keep my eye on it, but there are much better new series similar to this at the moment. So I hope this series gets a chance to grow and develop, but right now it's meh at best.

TDLR : A JJK X CSM with a less interesting and forgettable OP MC

Tsukimichi is an isekai that I binged in one sitting. The concept and premise isn't unique, and did leave some aspects to be desired, such as all the races that Misumi run into have cool designs, but are almost immediately turned into standard "Hot" humans. The mini harem was standard and wished they had done more other than 2 women want to smash but MC is too shy or whatever and constantly pushes them away. Lastly the MC is overpowered from the start, he doesn't face a real challenge, and even then it's not REALLY a threat.

BUT, this show started to felt like Konasuba with ... their relationships to me with how entertaining the cast was in their interactions. Which was by far the best part. You want to keep watching to see what will happen next with the crew, especially toward the 2nd half where things get slightly darker.

Overall, it's a fun watch and I recommend it, but don't expect anything crazy fresh from this isekai.

So far as of Vol 1, I have found that visually, the art is great, the paneling and layout is par for the course, and the word balloons and text are easy to read and fully engaging.

The story itself is interesting, and by the end of vol 1, does leave the reader with a nice hook for the next vol.

The story falls apart in two area's

1. Characters, the male MC is just a whinny goody two shoes, that is being dragged along by the plot. He is as cookie cutter as they come, the female MC to me was interesting, and falls well within ... the crazy range, but doesn't built any sympathy for her as a person, and does a poor job as the males FOIL. The antagonist is really poor and hopes by the glimpse of backstory, we will be on their side.

2. The fan service is HORRIBLE, I understand having sex appeal, but the VERY FIRST page starts out with a very detailed pantie shot, while the Male MC is serious, in emotional chaos, while talking about a heavy subject. This is also the introduction to the Female MC, which sets her up as a sex doll, rather than a character, and the story suffers from this throughout book 1. Pantie/Bra shots are constantly breaking high tension spots in the story's flow and atmosphere.
