Both share similar themes of vampires and romance. Their storylines are also similar since they both involve the supernatural, evil organizations and inner personalities. Blood Alone is slightly more realistic since it is mostly based in the real world whereas Rosario + Vampire is set in a monster world. They are both gripping and are very enjoyable to read.
