I started this anime just because I have seen photos of the manga volume cover on Instagram and it looked interesting and because I heard the edits on TikTok in which Hanako says Chotto eroi. I said to myself that since it only has 12 episodes I should give it a chance.
Aaaand... it became one of my favorite series of all time. I started reading the manga immediately after I finished the anime and now I am caught up and I cannot believe that I have to wait a whole month for a new chapter... I have the urge to rewatch the anime and reread
...
the manga, tbh, that's how much I love this series.
Firstly, the artstyle in this anime is absolutely gorgeous and stunning. They all look so cute and adorable and the colors and lighting gives the anime such a beautiful vibe. I love all the character designs. In conclusion: the visuals are a feast for the eyes.
Secondly, the whole thing with the supernaturals and the 7 mysteries of an old school is so freaking good. Idk how to describe it, but the mystery vibe that it gives off is so fascinating and it keeps you interested. This anime is the perfect mix of cute, funny, adorable, wholesome and dark, mysterious, serious.
Hanako became one of my favorites characters of all time. He is cute, adorable, funny, mysterious, charming and fascinating. He has so much charisma. I absolutely love his design, I love his personality, he is so lovable.
I love Yashiro too, but there were times when I wanted her to stop waiting for Hanako to come and save her.
Now, this anime should have Romance as a genre listed here because there is absolutely a romantic subplot between Hanako and Yashiro. But it's a very different kind of romance than you would expect from an anime. Because I absolutely love how Yashiro is completely comfortable with Hanako touching/hugging/squishing her all the time. In many romance anime/hetero ships, the girl either violently attacks the guy for so much as tapping her shoulder, or gets extremely blushy, nosebleeds, exaggerated shock and all. But with Yashiro and Hanako it's different.... They're just so.... Comfortable with each other... Yashiro leans into Hanako's touch.... And Hanako constantly hugs her, yet she never seems bothered by it at all. And the touching between them is never actually sexual or romantic... it's just straight up comfy wholesomeness and warmth. So if your love language is physical touch and you like to see couples do this, this is definitely the anime for you.

Every One Piece fan wet dream. So many characters, so much action, everything is happening so fast that you cannot see it all.
Bullet is just your average meathead who knows only how to punch people and things.
But what was intersting was the scene at the end with Roger, who said a line that appeared in the manga not so long ago, in a flashback.
A stunning movie, indeed.
The art and animation were on point. Beautiful, gorgeous, so many cameos. Everything that a One Piece fan wants.
Usopp was the goat, Hancock is amazing as always, Sabo is a cutie pie and a badass at the same

time.

I found this manga so realistic. The struggles of the characters felt so real to me that it had me with tears in my eyes.
It got me thinking about my life and that I don't appreciate enough what I have.
Seeing Kawana so helpless when trying to better herself and learn in order to be with Ayukawa had a greater impact on me that I expected.
Seeing Ayukawa struggling with his mental status and the fact that he will never be able to give his girlfriend what she deserves truly moved me.
It made me think that anyone's life could change for the worse any second. Ayukawa
...
never thought that he will not be able to walk ever again. And neither does any of us. Just imagine the pain that someone disabled goes through. And that is shown perfectly in Ayukawa.
All the characters have depth. I found none of them being annoying. Everyone has good intentions and a kind heart. And sure, they all make mistakes, but that is what makes them real, what makes them humans.
I love this manga and I recommend it with all my heart to anyone that wants to see things in life from a different perspective.

I tried reading the manga, but it was so boring to me that I stopped at chapter 12.
But, oh, God, what a beautiful adaptation this is!
The art and animation are absolutely gorgeous. 10/10 for both of them. Studio ufotable did a great job.
The premise of the story might seem cliche, but the way that is executed is interesting. I love the fact that the training arc was just one episode which contained 2 years. Now, this was realistic.
The soundtrack and the sound effects are on point.
I love Tanjiro as a protagonist. He is simple, he does not play around with words and he takes action,
...
he loves his sister and wants to help her after he lost everything. Nezuko is cute and funny, it shows that she is a strong female character for the fact that she is able to control herself and not eat people.
Also, I love the opening.

I think that you wanted for a long time to watch One Piece, but you put it off because of its number of episodes, then you should go and read the manga. You will catch up a lot faster and you will experience the One Piece story at its fullest. But if you are not a manga fan and you only watch anime, I recommend you to watch the special Episode of East Blue, which is a summary for the first saga, with great art and animation. If you enjoy it, then go and start the actual anime from episode 1 so you do not
...
miss anything of this story, that makes One Piece such a beautiful series.
I will be short: the enjoyment and the overall score are both 10/10. The story, the art, the sound, the characters, everything is a 10 out of 10 for me. But the anime has pacing issues. The pacing is so slow sometimes that is infuriating. That is why I think is better to binge One Piece when you watch it. Or read the manga.
The voice acting is on point. The art and the animation can be weird sometimes, but overall I enjoyed the visuals.
I was introduced to this series via the anime, I caught up with 750 episodes, which was the number of episodes that were out 3 years ago, in just 3 months. Then, I went and read the manga from chapter 1. I have watched all the movies and special episodes.
I will not go into detail about the story and the characters in this review. If you want, you can check my manga review.
Overall, this is a good adaptation, but not quite on the level of the greatness that is the manga.

Disclaimer: English is not my first language, therefore excuse me for any mistakes!
One Piece is the best piece of fiction I have ever experienced.
Starting watching and reading One Piece is the best decision of my entire life so far.
So, obviously, One Piece is my favourite manga and anime, my favourite series of all time. As a result, this review will be very subjective and full of good things to say.
Story: 10/10
The storytelling of Oda is a gift from the Gods. The way how something mentioned in a chapter will become relevant 300 or 500 chapters later is incredible! Every chapter and arc introduces a lot
...
of new mysteries, every character has something to do with another, who you did not expect. The worldbuilding is fascinating, the world is in a perpetual expansion, every faction has its own motives, its own good guys and its own bad guys.
This story has adventure, action, comedy, drama and everything someone would want! When Oda wants you to cry, then you will cry. The flashbacks and backstories are heartbreaking. The level of foreshadowing that is put in this manga is insane.
Art: 10/10
Even if at the beginning the art style seems a little simplistic, it becomes one of the best parts of the story. The visuals on a double spread page are breathtaking. The quantity of characters and the beauty of the backgrounds, the movement, everything is done perfectly! One of the best things about this manga is that every cover page has something to do with the actual story. Sometimes Oda will take cute and funny requests from the fans that he will draw in the cover page in a few chapters, then he will draw a cover story, showing what are other characters doing when they are not present in the actual arc. Oda is advancing the story with a few pages. Moreover, the colour spreads are fabulous! One of the coolest things is to see the Straw Hats chilling together with some animals or going into new adventures, flying or eating pizza.
Character: 10/10
Even if One Piece is a story-driven series, the characters are all well developed and their progression and evolution are on point. The members of the Straw Hat crew will keep their basic personality traits, quirks and running gags, but they will each grow as an individual and learn during their journey together. When we meet a new character, we are all waiting to see their backstory, what motivates them to do what they are doing, their reasons to act as they do. Seeing them grow as a family is a precious thing to me. One Piece can become dark at some points, especially in the flashbacks to show us how cruel the world is, how corrupt the government is and how everything it affects the characters and the story. The world is moving alongside the characters and at the same time completely separate from them.
Enjoyment: 10/10
Of course, it is my favourite series. I will continue reading and watching it until the end and every week I am so hyped for a new chapter.
Overall: 10/10
I recommend One Piece to everyone. If you like complex shounen manga, with pure gold comedy, beautifully written characters, lots of adventures every new arc, cool and meaningful fights, worldbuilding from the hands of gods, storytelling never seen before and heartbreaking drama, then One Piece is for you without a doubt.
Read the first 100 chapters or go watch the special Episode of East Blue. If the story does not appeal to you, then One Piece is not for you. I guarantee you that once you start this journey, you will not stop and you will not regret it.
The manga can have slow pacing sometimes, which can be irritating, but I believe that One Piece is made to be binged. If you read 10-20 chapters a day, you will be able to truly experience the greatness that is this series.

This anime is so heartwarming and so darn cute! The art is outstanding, the music is good, everything is so colourful and it brings me so much joy!
I am very intrigued by all the zodiacs. Seeing how cute they are when they transform into animals, I would hug them all day long. This teenage rom-com is everything I could ask for. Tohru is a precious cinnamon roll who must be protected. I love Yuki, he is definitely my type. I ship them.
Kyo is cool and I love cats, but in this case, I prefer Yuki because I love grey haired anime boys who are
...
sweet. The male tsundere might seem cool and new at first glance, but I grew tired of it. I mean, Kyo is ok, but his personality is sometimes irritating for me personally.
In conclusion, a great story to enjoy when you want something cute and heartwarming.
